What a amazing place to visit. It is so easy to find and visit when someone travel through nawalapitiya-kandy main road. This bridge is over mahaweli river and it is going to a village. Better place to spend a adventures time. In the dry season people can have bath under the bridge, but have to be very careful.

The bridge is beautiful. But the bridge seemed to have several open spaces and the wood attachments weren't as good.

One of the oldest hanging bridge that helps poverty people to travel between their village and the city over the mahaveli river… for the past 70+ years only politicians visit to those villages to obtain their vote 🗳 by promising to expand the bridge with a permanent solution that can drive a vehicle over the river but that remains thus far until reoccurring on every election… However the bridge gives an amazing atmosphere and there are a lost of river fish lives by the bridge. And al foods are taking care by the monk and supporters in the near temple..
