Rover hospital is good just for the annual vaccination of pets. They don’t have experienced staff and mostly they don’t have good service! They literally don’t care about how sick the pets are or how much pain they are in. It’s just another random animal for them. I’m saying this with experience because they can’t even understand what kinda diseases the pet have by checking them, they just do expensive tests on them which don’t even relate to the disease! My pet Labrador DIED because they didn’t understand the symptoms, the doctors there have no experience and I’m soo disappointed. Even when my 4yr old Labrador was dieing there were no helpers in the ICU room even, they were busy watching videos on their PCs! It was me and my family members who were there with the dog when he was about to pass away even! The doctors there don’t give a Daymn about the innocent animals they just want the money! I can’t even give one star for them! They are just big headed people who won’t even help when u ask for it! I experienced the most traumatic incident there when my dog passed away because the doctors had no knowledge! I would never recommend this place to anyone! Take your pets to rover if u want to kill them. And besides they don’t even give proper food to the animals. Highly disappointed about this place! They literally killed my 4 yr old Labrador because lack of knowledge!! I don’t recommend this place! Please find some other vet!

Rover is not recommended for any sort of surgeries on animals since they could not even properly manage a very simple operation such as neutralising our healthiest, playful and very active, lovable Persian male cat aged 2 on Friday the 28th. We learnt from all reviews that neutralising a male cat is a very mild and simple surgery but ultimately Drs at Rover could not handle such a small operation . Rishmi/Vishmi supposed to be a Dr who did the surgery did not show any love on the pet and she acted as if the cat would have had complications. If so they should have properly checked beforehand whether he is fit for surgery or not and if there was even a 0.1% of risk we will definitely not agree in doing this operation. Ultimately at the end of the day few hours after it is done we were informed by Dr Eranda and Dr Vishmi or Rishmi that the cat is vomitting and it is not a good sign. Therefore we suggested both Drs to keep him under observation for few hours and we would pick him up once he is ok and after two to three hours they called to say his position is not very good and his lung is filled with fluid and he is suffering from breathing difficulties which resulted we lost our lovable pet and he cannot be replaced with any other cats. It is so saddened to think of this horrible day up to date since we just took a playful pet to this Rover Veterinary and they took his life by not giving proper attention on the surgery. Either administration of Anesthesia was not properly done or After surgery treatment was not done. However we lost and it is only another client for Rover and they will continue doing the same mishap by getting the operations done through incapable non experienced Dr like Rishmi/ Vishmi( name is not very sure) but for Dr Eranda she is supposed to be a experienced Dr. I dont agree at all who could not manage such a small operation. If you love your animals make sure No surgeries at Rover Veterinary Hospital please

After going through all the review we thought of conveying our thought and experience about this amazing vet hospital. Rover Animal Hospital, Battaramulla has been such a good place for our pet - a true blessing around here. This facility is very different from any other place we have been. We have been taking our pet for boarding facility here for many years. They are extremely professional, and super loving! The vet techs and the vet know exactly what they are talking about. You can be sure you're in good hands. This past week, we had trouble with our new pup, Yuki and Dr. Naduni, Dr Krishnika along with Ishara (assistant) have been so incredible, words cannot express our gratitude. They provided 24 hours advocate and guidance to save our pup Yuki from Parvo Condition. The recommendations they provide and the sincere follow up goes such a long way and is very much appreciated. Our animals are our family members and We would highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone who will love their pet. Few unfaithful pet lovers whom has abounded their lovely pets here have been well treated and looked after by these professionals with their kind humanity. We have no idea of some irresponsible reviews published on this website but what we exactly know is that Rovers' are always there by your pet at 24/7 with love and affection. Took our rescued kitten to them sometime last week to be admitted for treatment for cat parvo. They showed us to an isolation area for our kitten. However it was no place to leave a loved pet. As soon as the door opened we were hit with the most horrible stench which smelled of years and years of neglect. They took us to a room that had unclean counters, used old plasters. Had we left our kitten there she would have got sick from the dirt and filth there. We immediately walked out and took our kitten elsewhere which was the best decision we made to save her life. Do not take your pet to Rover hospital if you love them. Do your research and take them elsewhere and not to this filthy dump of a place that cannot be called a hospital. They should just be shut down.

Such a great place! I always have all the solutions for my dog's sickness. Dr. Eranda and Dr. Krishni are always there for us to help. They are very flexible, professional and well-focused on my Bobo. Their service is very fast and accurate. They explane all the result patiently and answer all my questions. Rover is the best private veterinary hospital in Sri Lanka. I cannot say enough about Prof. Eranda Rajapaksha and his staff. The lady doctor was very friendly and polite. Great veterinarian too. Dr. Dr. Eranda Rajapaksha explain everything to us. Great experience. Definitely this is gonna be a family doctor of my fur baby. Even I live far definitely still coming back. I had an emergency last week. I was extremely impressed by the way the vets handled this situation with me. I had never been to this clinic before, but the way they made me feel so comfortable and supported was greatly appreciated. The compassion they showed to my dog and to me was amazing. Thank you for making this horrendous time less stressful for me and my beloved dog. Fully equipped veterinary hospital offering international standards in animal healthcare. With its advanced medical facilities, multi-specialty animal hospital is a one-stop medical centre that offers daycare, boarding, diagnostic, therapeutic and intensive care facilities. The only drawback we noticed was that the hospital was dirty and smelly, a result of years of neglect.

Amazing staff and doctors. They are happy to see the pets walk in and are very careful and loving when treating them. Doesn't make a fuss regards to the pets whether they are well behaved or not. They Don't act scared or anxious around the animals. They have separate rooms to consult and treat the animals which is very convenient because the animals don't feel threatened by one another. They feel safe in their little space and doesn't show any anxiousness when getting their treatment.

We kept our cocker spaniel puppy on two occasions for three days each and they looked after it really well. Hats off to Madushanka who was very kind enough to update us daily and even shared a video of our puppy having a good time with him. Thank you all and recommend this place to anyone who wants to board their pets.

I come from Galle with my dog, I want to make fool blood testing for her , I leave her all they with them , they looked after her like her own pet ! Lucky my dog not big issues with healt ! Dr Eranda is the best doctor in Colombo , he has a big experience with pets ! I really recommend them !

Well set up, well equipped and focussed to provide good care. They have own lab so testing is quick and results available immediately. Trained and competent staff run by an experienced and knowledgeable vet. Very committed.

Excellent service offered by all levels of staff from receptionist to assistants, nurses to doctors who are all absolutely kind hearted and caring treating pets with absolute care providing speedy swift professional service. The doctors always made me and my pet dog feel absolutely comfortable ensuring my dog was taken full care and on last occasion helped save him from near death situation in the middle of the night by giving the proper quick treatments and stabling him bringing him out of possible dangerous life threatening situation. Even though some treatments may be a bit too pricy, it's well worth spent here because at the end of the day I can be assured that my dog got and will get the best treatment, care and attention by them. The doctors here are well trained and are warm hearted and down to earth. It's the same with the rest of the staff. I have also boarded my dog here when I went on holiday and he was well looked after may be even much better than myself by them giving him personalized attention, care and service. I totally recommend this Veterinary hospital for any type of treatments and boarding for pets. They have all the technology, machines and facilities with a very spacious location providing 24/7 service to pets.

Best service you could get for your pet. Friendly pet loving staff. I used their boarding facility for my cat. I'm pleased with their service.

LOVE IT the staff LOVES the pets and the doctors are so friendly and kind. My kitten had an accident and even scratched the doctor he just smiled and said "he's very cute" hahaha amazing people and one visit my kitten was recovered!

I had two separate incidents at this place in 2018. I don't recommend this place for complicated illnesses nor to board your pet. They seems to treat the animals nice when you are there, but not even properly fed and cared for when you are away. You will get a fat bill anyway.

Good doctors with experience. Only hospital that accepted our puppy who was badly affected with parvovirus. Unfortunately one passed away but was able to save the other. Attentive and caring staff, both doctors and nurses. Isolation unit available for parvo, distemper and other contagious cases. Other petcare services such as grooming, boarding available as well.

Plenty of space for parking. Attentive staff and veterinary professionals.

All (from the help desk upward) very friendly and supportive I just went there for my dogs tests done as they promise before I reached home all my respective reports had been sent to me through an email. The cost for the test are comparatively expensive.. .good luck Rover Team.

I highly recommend this hospital. Great service, talented doctors and friendly staff. Please be kind enough to read my whole story. My boxer dog had many difficulties over the last few years due to unidentified complications. He was in a critical condition. I have consulted many veterinarians around Colombo and couldn't find a proper remedy for my dog's problem. Previous consultations revealed that my dog was having liver/kidney complications. One of the veterinarians suspected that my dog is suffering from cancer and they were reluctant to go for an operation in fear of his death. When I was about to give up my dog's case, I heard about "Rover Veterinary Hospital".  On the first day itself, the team of doctors identified the root cause for my dog's ongoing complications and then the dog was taken into the operation theater shortly.  Though I'm miles away from Sri Lanka, I really appreciate the efforts of the medical team at Rover hospital. My special thank goes to Dr. Eranda for his careful supervision which helped me to save my precious pet. I also would like to thank all the other doctors and the staff. From the feedback I received from my family other than the efficiency of doctors and the staff, the hospital is in great condition adhering to international sanitary standards. As a place that provides great value for money, I would definitely recommend this hospital to any pet lover. In addition to all of the above, I would also like to say, please don't be limited to one veterinarian, and please go for multiple veterinarians if your pet is having continuous complications.

Not recommended at all. All they care about is money. These people doesn't even know how to put a canula properly to a cat. I bought my cat for a mild fever, they gave me a 11k bill 😅 when u asked about it their male nurses tried to argue with me.

My pet cat had wounds that needed to be treated while being admitted. I admitted him for one week and his wounds were healed. Their rates are very reasonable for ward facilities. I am very happy with the friendly and caring service provided for both the pet and myself. As an improvement they should have more ventilation in the cat ward.
