We
flew
20
hours,
plus
layovers,
to
vacation
at
the
Hyatt
Regency
in
Saipan
because
we
heard
Saipan
was
beautiful
and
had
amazing
weather.
We
were
not
disappointed
on
either
front,
but
what
truly
made
our
vacation
great
was
the
Hyatt
Regency
and
their
amazing
staff.
The
Hyatt
is
located
on
the
beach,
and
nearly
all
the
rooms
face
the
beach.
We
had
a
room
on
the
7th
floor
in
their
newest
building
(which,
full
disclosure,
isn’t
exactly
“new”,
having
been
built
in
the
80’s).
The
view
from
our
balcony
could
have
been
where
their
profile
picture
was
taken
–
it
was
an
amazing
view.
The
room
itself
was
fine,
though
nothing
out
of
the
ordinary.
The
room
was
spacious
with
a
decently
sized
closet
and
separate
dresser
that
easily
held
10
days
worth
of
two
people’s
clothes.
The
bed
was
firm
and
a
quick
call
to
the
front
desk
got
us
some
extra
pillows
to
make
it
more
comfortable.
The
bathroom
was
very
large,
with
a
separate
tub
on
one
side
and
a
shower
on
the
other,
with
a
sink
area
large
enough
to
hold
plenty
of
beauty
products.
There
wasn’t
a
shower
curtain
for
the
tub
even
though
it
had
a
hand
wand
for
rinsing
off
(which
was
helpful
after
coming
back
from
the
ocean).
There
was
a
clothes
line
over
the
tub
which
was
very
useful
for
attempting
to
dry
wet
clothes,
though
in
this
humidity,
I
recommend
using
the
dryers
in
the
north
tower
if
you
really
want
to
dry
your
clothes
(they
were
just
$2,
get
quarters
at
the
front
desk).
The
Hyatt
is
very
well
located
in
the
northwest
of
the
island
and
within
easy
walking
distance
of
many
restaurants
and
other
businesses,
plus
the
National
Park.
We
were
able
to
walk
to
dinner
most
nights,
and
on
days
where
it
was
raining
or
the
restaurant
was
farther
away,
an
inexpensive
hotel
shuttle
would
drop
us
off
and
pick
us
up
without
keeping
us
waiting.
The
real
star
of
the
hotel,
and
the
reason
why
I
would
consider
another
round
of
20
hours
of
flights
to
visit
them
again,
is
the
hotel
staff.
The
front
desk
staff
are
super
helpful
and
very
polite.
Naosuke
Enemoto,
“Ene”,
the
front
office
manager,
was
doing
double
duty
working
also
as
a
first
rate
concierge.
He
knew
who
to
call,
and
was
able
to
make
calls
and
reservations
on
our
behalf
(translating
to
Japanese
when
needed),
which
saved
us
a
lot
of
time
and
hassle.
I
think
he
also
got
us
a
couple
of
good
deals
too,
negotiating
on
our
behalf.
I
cannot
overstate
how
amazing
it
is
to
be
on
vacation
and
have
a
first
rate
concierge
taking
care
of
you
–
it
makes
everything
so
much
better!
The
beach
is
great,
and
you
can
easily
walk
out
into
the
ocean
for
at
least
100
meters
and
still
be
only
waist
deep
in
the
very
warm
water.
When
the
sun
starts
to
go
down
Skippers,
the
Hyatt
beach
bar,
opens
up
and
you
can
get
a
drink
and
meal
and
watch
amazing
sunsets
day
after
day.
One
need
never
leave
the
beach
all
day
(assuming
you
start
the
day
with
some
snacks
and
beverages,
since
Skippers
doesn’t
open
until
4:30pm),
which
is
my
idea
of
the
perfect
vacation!
The
breakfast
buffet
is
standard
fare
for
a
hotel
of
this
type
with
a
combination
of
east
Asian
and
US
breakfast
foods.
We
were
able
to
enjoy
an
American
breakfast
of
bacon,
eggs,
hash
browns,
croissants
and
pastries,
juice
and
coffee
while
others
enjoyed
breakfast
foods
that
I
don’t
recognize.
The
Sunday
brunch
was
heavy
on
the
meats
and
desserts,
much
more
“lunch”
than
“breakfast”.
It
wasn’t
what
I
was
expecting,
but
I
didn’t
leave
hungry.
In
short,
great
location,
even
better
staff,
and
the
rooms
are
just
fine!
