Word to the wise, if you make customers wait 20+ mins for “fried chicken” at a fried chicken restaurant, make sure you at least give them the fresh pieces and not the dried up pieces leftover from the previous batch that no one wanted. This was prime dinner time at 6:00pm nonetheless when customers (more than 5) were waiting for the orders when the restaurant itself is empty.

Keep an eye on your wallet while waiting for your food. Otherwise, the chicken only family meals provide a decent variety of white and dark meat (actually got more breast pieces than we thought we'd get!). Still prefer Popeyes over KFC and Chick-Fil-A

The food is better than most other fast food places. This location is clean, and the staff, for the most part, are very helpful. I have 2 issues with Popeyes, 1 pertaining to this location... there are homeless people outside all the corners over there. All asking for handouts, and if you give to one, the others come over to harass you. The other issue I have is they got so F'ing expensive that I don't go here nearly as often as I used to. 24 nuggets is $18... that's insane. The meals are upwards of $12 now. To bad, I really enjoyed the food.

Not the best, not the worst. I’ve consistently had to wait extra time for spicy tenders and the breading is a little extra for the amount of meat. Spacious inside. Although limited, it’s helpful that’s there’s parking in the back. Just note you’ll have to make a u-turn on Little Neck if you’re headed northbound. Service is good. Don’t forget the honey with the biscuits!

It's a Popeyes the chicken is up to par the decor is nice. The only thing weird is I've ordered the sweet tea like 3-4 times it taste like lettuce tea water every time.

I gave the food a 3 because I ordered the spicy wings with the honey sauce, and it's like they just tossed it in. Some had sauce, and some didn't

This was my first time at the littleneck and union location. The ladies that work there have ZERO customer service skills. They have very weird behavior for no reason. Half of them barely speak english. So, someone else had to step in. Hillside location is way better. Just go there.

I arrived at the Popeyes drive-thru with the expectation of a quick and convenient meal. However, my experience took a negative turn when I was instructed to wait outside for an estimated 6-minute duration. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a brief wait turned into an ordeal lasting well over 20 minutes. As I waited in my car, growing increasingly frustrated, I noticed that no staff members approached to provide updates or assistance. The lack of communication left me feeling disregarded and undervalued as a customer. With each passing minute, my patience wore thin, and I began to question whether it was worth continuing to wait. Eventually, I made the decision to go inside the restaurant to seek an explanation for the delay. Upon entering, I was met with an indifferent attitude from the staff. Their lack of remorse for the extended wait and the inconvenience I had endured only added to my frustration. It was disheartening to witness such an apparent disregard for customer satisfaction and basic courtesy. In the end, my visit to this Popeyes left me with a negative impression of their customer service and operational efficiency. The combination of an unreasonably long wait time, poor communication, and a dismissive attitude from the staff overshadowed any positive aspects of the meal, making it an overall disappointing experience.

Have had multiple issues with this location, from the slow service to the bad attitudes of the cashiers and food that is not fresh. My last time there was the worst. First issue was the cashier started to take my order then passed me off to another worker who I could tell was new. I told her my order which included a chicken sandwich combo but plain(no mayo and no pickles). I had to repeat the request at least 4 times because she didn’t put it in the system. To make matters worse my order took over 15 minutes to get and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. What made me furious was when I went to give my son the chicken sandwich and it had pickles on it and he’s allergic to them. I had already left the location so I couldn’t go back. I did however do the survey on the receipt indicating the issue and requested someone from the restaurant call me back to discuss. Of course never received a call or email. I went to customer support through corporate to express my dissatisfaction. After over a week a got a response from someone there who just said they would inform the restaurant of the incident when I requested a refund. All I got was a $15 off online purchase refund when I purchased nearly $40 of food that day. Support said it was up to the restaurant to decide if they would give a refund. Needless to say over a week later still no contact from the restaurant. Only because my kids school is close by and they love Popeyes I come here but my patience is done with this location. Do better and train your staff on how to listen to the customer and get their orders right!
