I tried out the studio. Very cold, corporate atmosphere. Classes are monotonous, and I’ve read accounts of injuries from repeated movements, and I could definitely see this. The dance socks they sell there are extremely overpriced- mine were over $20. Dancing on sweaty carpets is also a little off-putting. When the manager realized that I wasn’t going to sign up that evening, she accused me of not living locally because I am pursuing a degree in the UK. My license says that I live in NY and I live here for half the year. I felt threatened and uncomfortable, as though she might charge my card out of spite. Do not recommend. There are other barre studios. I would avoid Pure Barre in general. After doing the trial class, I was harassed for a good month afterward.

I love PBGC. I've tried 2 other Pure Barre studios in the past and PBGC is by far the best. It's such a welcoming amd supportive community. The instructors are amazing. I'm so happy I go to PB in Garden City.

prior to joining i had been looking for something that would gradually help me get back into fitness without hating it. i’m so glad i found PBGC. i’ve been a member for a little over a month now and i find myself coming 6/7 days of the week purely out of dedication and enjoyment (something i’ve never felt when it came to working out). i love that you can take the classes you want, at your own pace, with an instructor readily available to guide you and suggest modifications if needed. Miriah has a great team of instructors who have all been so supportive of my journey and welcoming every time i walk into the studio.

pure barre garden city offers several different class times which works SO well for my work schedule! there are lots of class participants which creates a great energy!! The music is good and the workout is really good for low impact on the joints, with great full body results!

Pure Barre is my happy place! I love coming here every day and working out! I feel so good mentally and physically! Thank you Pure Barre Garden City!!

@purebarre.gardencity is such a great spot! All of the instructors are wonderful and the classes are challenging but fun!

If you book via ClassPass do NOt come here. They canceled my reservation when I was already on my way when I got there and ClassPass rebooked it they couldn’t see it and would not allow me to join the class unless I paid an extra $38. They said it should not have been on the app at all. They were overall very unhelpful, I have never been treated so disrespectfully in all my life with complete and utter disregard for someone else’s time. I would go to another pure barre location.

Was excited for an opportunity to try out the barre class here, booked online after seeing an ad and, when they called to figure out my fitness goals, they mentioned this was for locals only (the closer location “plainview” is 5 miles whereas this one is about 7 miles)- the reasoning to remove my name for the advertised class was not right

I have been so happy since beginning in March taking the classes at PBGC. The owner and staff are so welcoming as well as professional. I am so thrilled with my bodies transformation, signing up was the best decision I made for my health ❤️
