We were very excited to try this place out. I've heard so many good things about this place, but we had the worst service, and the food was not very good. We also waited over an hour and a half for our food. The waitress came by and said the ticked got pushed behind other. No big deal. But tables were sat after us, got their food, and left, before we even got our food. Waitress offered a slice of pie, for the inconvenience, but she forgot, and tried to charge us for it at the end. It would have been nice to have a manager come over to apologize, and offer a discount, but no attempt was made. Waitress wasn't rude, but didn't seem to care.

Slow Your Roll, just a little please. Our family has been coming here since the beginning. We pass to our children. It's tradition. We know the drill on arrival, waits etc. Saturday night. Was food great? Yes. Was service great? Yes. But for the first time ever our dining experience was so rushed. We ordered and blinked and our salads arrived. That's okay. But about three bites into ours salads our main course arrived. Hadn't finished our main course and desert when our check arrived. We were not lingering. We ordered wine, appetizers, dinner and desert. Looked around and everything was so rushed. I understand you are busy, crowded and in demand. But please remember, this is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable for us. A whole hospitality experience. Don't ruin it by treating us like cattle. Please don't ruin our good thing.

Another phenomenal meal with excellent service and awesome Idaho atmosphere! I had the sirloin steak with sauteed mushrooms, rice pilaf, and coleslaw and everything was phenomenal! My husband had sirloin steak with sauteed mushrooms and their famous beans and he loved it! Absolutely delicious prime rib Fabulous atmosphere Excellent service Dear friends Bob and Anne took us out to dinner; what an amazing treat! I can't wait to go again ... that prime rib is calling!!

An absolute delight! This place reminds me of a place in Oklahoma called Cattleman's. Though I definitely think it's better. I recommend this place for sure. If I'm ever back in Boise I'll for sure stop by.

Real old school authentic steakhouse. Great prices, great food. Great staff. I almost don't want to rate this because I don't want it to get too busy lol.

My first time visiting! I've heard many good things so we went. I was NOT expecting those menu prices for a steak and baked potato.... or a few shrimp. $45 for a sirloin... $28 for a few pieces of fried chicken... the whole menu followed suit. Atmosphere: think restaurant in a 60s/70s casino... and low lighting. Service was good, and everyone was very nice. There were some issues with our order also. All in all, I probably won't be coming to buy dinner again anytime soon.

Had dinner there last night. Normally 5-stars but this time it was ROUGH! 2.5 hours for cackleberries. The staff were very overwhelmed and the waitress was snippy, with long periods of time in her visits to our table. Maybe we upset her, hopefully not. Normally would highly recommend and hope this isn’t a common occurrence here because I’d hate to stop visiting.

What a wonderful meal. Famous prawns? No kidding! We 3 shared the appetizer shrimp cocktail and we each ordered the filet mignon with prawns. ALL the food was excellent! Our server was attentive, personable and fun! To top it off, the nice couple sitting near us surreptitiously paid for our appetizer. So... we then shared a dessert of bread pudding. Magnificent!

We found this gem about a year ago. It quickly became one of our very favorites! The food is great, good portion size, love the sour dough dinner rolls and salad with their house Italian dressing to start. The bar prawns are the best and the steak always tender and cooked to perfection. I always take my loaded baked potato home because I’m full from dinner. The service is always excellent. The inside feels like an old steakhouse and feels nostalgic. Love this place.

Sorry; I personally didn’t like it. No Coke Zero, only Diet Coke and that had no carbonation. The water had a…tang of river to it that I personally won’t enjoy. I had the broasted chicken. The only other time I have had broasted chicken (somewhere else), it was crispy. I would not say this one was soggy..but it was almost soggy. Certainly not crispy. Waitress seemed ok. Not really, but it’s what you are supposed to say. I still tipped.

The atmosphere is perfect for an old style steakhouse. My prawns (NOT little shrimp!) were fantastic, and the portion sizes for everything were generous. My steak was just OK, and had a few tough spots, but the flavor was good and it was accurately cooked to order for doneness.

The Stagecoach Inn has been our favorite restaurant since 2009. We go there about once a month. The food is always great, I love the dark and warm decor and the service is top notch. Though I tend to try a variety of your menu items, for the last several years, my wife has been laser-focused on your Crab Salad. She said it's the best she's ever had. Unfortunately, the last time we were there,, Jessica told us it was being removed from the menu and that they no longer had it available. So, this is a plea to please bring that back. Your pricing was more than fair, and we'd be willing to pay considerably more to have it available. If not, my wife may just have to settle for one of your excellent steaks. Keep up the good work!

Iconic Idaho, nostalgic, wonderful food and service. I very rarely order steaks at restaurants cause I like my own at home, but the Stagecoach nailed it! My Ribeye was so wonderfully cooked, tender, juicy and flavorful! I chose the onion rings as recommended by a friend and fully agree. The side salad and appetizers before were enough to fill me up. Don't get me started on their famous banana cream pie. It was my birthday so the waitress bought me a slice and it was some of the best! Can't wait to go back again, and get a full 5-stars! Well done, and keeping it Stagecoach style and reputation.

This place is great! The prime rib and prawns are outstanding and the history of the building and restaurant are very cool.

We love the old school steakhouse atmosphere. We had a large group that ordered a variety of food and everyone raved about their choices. The service was fantastic too. We will definitely be going back.

Went here recently for our anniversary. I had been here once before a long time ago And was excited to go here again for something so special. The food was ok. The rolls were barely lukewarm. My husband ordered shrimp and he loved it. We also ordered pie and it felt like it was mostly whip cream. When we were 1st seated the waitress was there constantly until we placed our order Then It felt mostly like we were invisible. I know times are tough but you sure don't see a lot of smiles in here. We saw one waitress that actually seemed to really enjoy her job in being there. That was not ours though. We were right before the dinner time start so it wasn't busy. It is pretty expensive to go out these days so you tend to get pretty picky as to where you want to go and what kind of Atmosphere you would like to have. I try to not be a really nit picky person going out to eat and Understand a lot of the issues these days. I guess I was just really disappointed in the overall evening here. Not so sure we will come back.

It's one of the premier eateries in Boise for sure. Their reputation is well earned. The meat and seafood quality is great. I love the bar. Quality cocktails made by experienced bar tenders. Its busy, so get there early, or be prepared to wait a few. Always good!

Every once in a while, you find a place that does exactly who they are and does it so completely well. The stage coach inn was so delicious and such a great ambience and so completely well staffed. It was a lovely evening experience.

I absolutely loved this little restaurant! It had an amazing 80's cowboy theme that was charming. The food was beyond delicious and so were the drinks. The service was flawless and all of the staff encountered were warm, friendly, and inviting. This is a must while in Boise!

Was in search of a nicely cooked steak and we found it! Wonderfully tasting and Nicky cooked meal. Everything fresh crisp and cooked to our satisfaction. Service was quick and over the top polite and cordial. Will defiantly return.

Service was great and food was ok. Glad I didn’t waste $40-50 on a steak like the other 3 guys I came with. Obviously a locals favorite but typical older restaurant, super small booths to sit in, no one was impressed with their food. Nothing to write home about.

The best Hometown Steakhouse in Boise! Thank you for the outstanding service and delicious food! Everything is prepared perfectly, and served by friendly, attentive, beautiful people! The atmosphere is perfect for celebrating our Broncos!! So happy this restaurant is still operating! An all-time favorite!

So much more than a restaurant, the Stagecoach is really an experience. Go back in time to the pioneer days … and the food and service are wonderful!

These guys are known for their steak but I love ❤️ the club sandwich for lunch. If you want a taste of an old Garden City staple make sure you check out the Stagecoach.

Okay where has this place been?? Yum! When you go in it is super dark. I'm not sure why. I hate having to pull my phone out to use the flashlight to read a menu. It was super busy! I was actually shocked. This place is like the old place people would go for lunch after church on Sunday. We got seated and the waitress came.over. She seemed really overwhelmed, but nice. The food is what shined. The baked potato was probably the best I've ever had. It was super fluffy! The chicken was cooked perfectly. The teriyaki sauce wasn't great. The halibut bites were delicious and the fries were amazing. They gave us fresh bread that was heavenly. We will definitely go back to try something different!!
