Ms. Keller was so wonderful from the moment we walked in the door. First we were acknowledge by three different people when we walked in the door to be seated, second before we ordered we were introduced to our server Ms. Mia, and third we felt at home during our entire meal, which by the way was freaking delicious! 😃 This location is filled with so many awesome people! Great job to all of them for making the end to an exhausting and long day end with such a pleasant dining experience.

I was not impressed with the food, service or atmosphere. I had the cheesy bake (twice baked potato), breaded shrimp, & hush puppies. It all felt like items you can buy from the freezer aisle. The hush puppies lacked flavor. The cheesy bake was very good, however. Don't recommend.

I'm EXTREMELY disappointed after my visit this evening. I have literally visited this location a minimum of 2 to 3 times a week for the last year and a half. First for my grandmother and now that we live closer, myself and my children. I usually ALWAYS order online (except when my grandmother was alive, she always had cash so I'd always call it in) and tonight was no different except for whatever reason I couldn't get a single one of my cards to work (all of which have plenty of money on them and I've used each of them here before) I assumed it was their system and called in my order instead and grabbed cash (from one of the cards "not working") to pay when I arrived. Being that I already had it all on my phone I knew exactly what my total should be with the tip. Imagine my surprise when I got there and my total was almost $5 more than it was on my screenshot. I showed her the screenshot after she gave me the total, she resolved the issue right away but WHY? HOW MANY TIMES have they done this before and since I was paying with cash for my grandmother and had called in the order instead of placing it online, had they overcharged me for no reason? It's very disappointing after going out of my way to continue to use a "local business".

This Carey Hilliards is by far the best one we have been to . The manager Miss Keller is AMAZING she walked from table to table with a smile on her face greeting every customer and making sure their food was ok and seeing if she could do anything to make their visit more enjoyable . Our waitress Kk was also GREAT she was very attentive and was on top of everything making sure our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed while tending to MANY other tables. The food was amazing and the service couldn’t have been any better . Keep up the good work !!

It was ok. I got the baked salmon with baked potato and mac and cheese. The salmon was cooked well. It was a tad bit under seasoned for my preference, but it's still good, tho. The Mac and cheese I didn't really care for, and I loved my baked potatoes. The server was nice and attentive.

Love this place!! Food was amazing!!! Great menu selection. I definitely will be back!! Also our server was great !

Staff was so welcoming. Fried pickles were awesome! Fresh and crispy! Had the deviled crab with cheddar bake and Wow wow wow! Was absolutely delicious!

I love Carey Hilliard's ever since they opened. The food was great, even if they didn't give me what all I ordered I'm still good. The service was alright but I still give her the benefit with all she had going on, remember we have to give young people a chance. As for the atmosphere it still has the feeling of the late Mr & Mrs Hilliard's. Will go back again

Always a local favorite. Decided to hit the curb side for lunch but apparently that isn't a thing anymore. The lady told me I could order Togo and stay parked. I remember the days you could get the same service as inside but in your car. Oh well!

This was my first time eating at this location. There were literally no customers and we were the only ones there. The food was okay. The waitress was cool.

I order carryout from the garden City Carey Hilliard's often. Their fried shrimp and their grilled shrimp is really good. So is the fried chicken dinner. The people who work there are always friendly to me, the service prompt. Good southern food.

Getting good food here depends on the time of day. I don't go here often but it's always a hit or miss. I was served lukewarm crab stew the other day which was extremely disappointing but I didn't want to send it back just to be heated up in the microwave, so I sufffered in silence. Service is pretty good and the environment is nice. I recommend going during the day before 4pm.

My food looked good. Steak wasn't done, green beans very salty. $9.99 BBQ wings special were drumetts, not wings. The server was having a bad day. My meal was corrected by the manager, but it had to be a carry out. Family was finished with their meals. Visiting from FL. for the holidays. The place was clean. Even the bathroom. We will visit again. Merry Christmas.

I never could wrap my head around the chicken and waffles combo. I get it now. When you go into a restaurant and you see a lot of "mature" people You can guarantee the place is great. And it was. The atmosphere is eh, but I had good company and I didn't come here for the walls.

Billy the server was the best part of this visit. Please tip him well, he works very hard and tries to accommodate all of his customers.... Definitely not happy with the food!!! Potato salad and macaroni and cheese were old and tasted that way. Fries were undercooked and when asked to get a fresh batch they were placed back in the grease and looked worse than the first batch 3rd try was better but they shortened the amount that was served. Note to management if you wouldn't eat it then don't serve it. Same standards apply to customers as it would to you....

We just pulled off the freeway and wow what a great lunch! The smoked fried chicken is so very very good. And the barbecue sauce was amazing. The coleslaw is very good as well. Cute little 1960s local diner. The locals love it and you can tell why.

Food was great and the young man that took my was great. I love the restaurants Design and the they have a good menu with plenty of options.

This place is amazing! I had a full rack of some of the most tender ribs... but what really blew my mind, was the grilled shrimp, which I ordered as an appetizer. Oh my god.... I could eat my weight in those shrimp! Hands down, if you're in this area, this is a MUST!

My coworker and I used to come here for lunch 2 days out of the week. We always do curbside. (We only have Carey Hilliards and Subway as choices). Two issue have occurred. First, a couple weeks ago when opening my box of chicken tenders, all I could smell was fish. The chicken tenders smelled like fish. I couldn’t eat them. Second, two days ago I got the bacon cheeseburger and there was a hair, so I couldn’t eat that. The quality and service have declined recently.

Food was yummy and server super nice for late in the evening. Was my first time in and I pigged out and loved it all. Maybe a little greasy, but that seems to be the point, it's fried food and BBQ. I'll be coming back again.

Our server Tommy is absolutely amazing, very professional and courteous. He checked on us periodically and did not complain when we asked for extras. He was very attentive to our orders. Two thumbs up for him. 👍 👌 (but his mother...) LOL

I ordered chicken fingers and two cheddar bake usually the chicken fingers is no mistake but this time it was I had to take my food back the next day but I can say they replaced it and it was the regular way that I'm usually getting it it was good then but I was hungry that night and could not eat it

So I have been going to Carey Billiards for over 45 years, No More !!, last three visits have been steadily worse Carey is probably turning in his grave just to know what's happened to what he made, got a bar b q. Plate all French fries, very little anything else, I also ordered a large onion ring for starters all the food came at once the fries and the onion rings were cold, not to mention the onion rings were more onion strings. I WILL NEVER REFER THIS PLACE OR EVER EAT THERE AGAIN.

I ordered a fish and shrimp combo to go with two sides and a large sweet tea.😚 It was a bit pricey but well worth the money. I didn't get to eat it right away. I had an emergency but several hours later it was still delicious and I'll be ordering again real soon.

This is just a basic fried seafood restaurant. As a local, I knew what to expect. However, our server at the Hwy 80 Garden City location was exceptional. Her name is Jay. She is a young black lady. Very pleasant. I have been missing that hospitality. Every issue we presented to her she quickly resolved with a friendly attitude. At one point we overheard her present our case to the manager and she clearly was in our corner and wanted a solution and felt trouble that we had to deal with that particular issue. I will not state the issue because we knew what kind of restaurant we went to, fast food style in a seated atmosphere.

My husband and I were very disappointed. We ordered the Jumbo Smoked Wings and as a appetizer we also ordered a small onion rings. This is by far the worst food we ever encountered at Hilliard's. The wings were so HARD we couldn't even enjoy them. As for as the Onion Rings go they were MUSHY. The food was just TERRIBLE. We could expect this at other restaurants but not CAREY HILLARDS. I ordered ribs, mac & cheese/cole slaw. My mistake thinking I was getting "baby back" ribs, so there was more fat on ribs than I prefer. Mac & cheese was a bit dry but server was very accommodating making fresh pot of coffee & tending to refills. Server also checked on me frequently which I appreciated.

I just left my 50th birthday party. We were in the back room. I think almost 30 of us were there, but we were all waited on quickly, correct plates, and such helpful staff. We all felt welcome, and our food was YUMMY

Very bad experience with my food. The manager Sandy was not helpful and very unpleasant.

I ordered the shrimp,Mac n chrese with hush puppies.. my favorite. On this day it was bad. Smh.. the hush puppies were burnt and the shrimps were stuck together. My plate looked like a child serving.. the Mac and cheese was horrible as well I may give this location another chance but my funds are hard earned.

Ordered seafood combo. But was disappointed in the quality of the dish. In addition, the coleslaw tasted old & was awful. The tartar sauce tasted old & horrible. My wife had to make homemade tartar sauce to salvage my meal. Furthermore, the hushpuppies would have been better with honeybutter condiments. TRY HARDER. The bad quality if food for extremely high c I start will influence where I choose Carey Hilliard for lunch again.

Overall everything was good. I thought it took a little too long to bring the meal though because all I ordered was the chicken breast bacon burger. It was an excellent chicken breast though.
