Homeless people living in the parking lot. They had an air conditioning service come in and spray water in the room while I was occupying the room. They clean the room only once every seven days. The hallway smells like animal urine. Not a pleasant place to stay. Found a bug running around in the room.

The place is decent yet I have my cons. The staff is friendly and nice. They all did there best to be helpful. The rooms are decent size and pretty clean. Full kitchen, stove top, and fridge. Plenty of parking. The cons are really the people who stay here. They leave there trash outside of the door for staff to pick up so it can appear messy at times. The hallways smell like trash. They need some kind of fabreeze spray on timer. People with dogs leave poop in the grass and it's disgusting and smells. People also leave trash outside in random places. The grounds around the back are dirty. Waking up to seeing this and paying $120 a day to wake up to trash and dog poop. Seems wierd and makes you think does the Hyatt house next door have these problems? Yet just because the hotel is less a night mean that you get what you pay for. Or does Extended Stay America have a standard that is not being upheld to the highest degree because of the nature of those who stay here. Just seems as tho when it comes to these details this hotel is lacking and this is one of the cleaner Extended stays. I get tha alot of people are displaced and many are living in Extended stays until they find permanent housing yet does that mean that dog poop and trash should be all around? It's frustrating. When you think about some spend $3,400 a month to stay here that's luxury living yet this is not luxury. Don't get me wrong it's decent but if I could afford better I would not stay.

I have been here working as a traveling nurse working 12 to 15 hour days. I have not been able to rest because of Room Inspections and my room has been cleaned once in a month. . The entire place meaning hallways elevators rooms are FILTHY. I have been cleaning my room myself. Plus purchasing cleaning products. The manager did nothing to make things right and charged a higher rate when I had to continue to stay because I am exhausted and have no time or energy to look for another to lay my head. I watched Tylor write notes about what has been happening and the manager got attitude like I’m lying. Plus did nothing to help. She said no notes were left. I feel taken advantage of.

The room was clean and a nice size. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Having a kitchen and a full size refrigerator was great. Finding the best rate on their own website and not having to book through a third party is a plus and booking online was super easy. This location is clean and the area is safe. I would stay here again.

My partner and I had a reservation for the weekend to attend a concert. When we walked into our room, we found it had NOT been clean. And the only option we were given was to take it or leave it. We called corporate, and no one would help us figure out our stay. Being from out of town and trying to make it to our concert, we are now left scrambling to find a hotel last minute This is entirely unacceptable. Extended Stay, you need to do better at having a cleaning standard and training your employees to solve problems caused by the lack of sanitation! I hope to hear from corporate and the management team soon

Not the best place to book a room at. There was a cockroach found in our kitchen sink. The room had unpleasant odor. The chair and microwave were not cleaned properly. There is no proper breakfast for you have as well. Would highly recommend to stay somewhere else if planning to stay for more than a day

I stayed in the hotel for 5 minutes and I gave up since I have my 2 years old daughter and my wife. You guys should never advertise this hotel for anyone with family and kids. The room smell cigars and once I enter in the door, other customers were fighting about something related to drugs.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! It is unsafe; from the moment I stepped out of my car I had a bad feeling about this place. It was dirty and filled with people that appeared to be part of a rehabilitation program. The room was dirty and completely different than the pictures. Cancelled my reservation and left as soon as possible. There were people getting high right outside the hotel as we were driving off. Do not stay here! Especially if you have kids.

Not what I expected from a chain like Extended Stay. Extremely disappointed. The rooms are dated. Shower head was old and clogged. Hairs on towels. Toothpaste cap on the floor in the middle of the bathroom. Moldy smell. Refrigerator was bolted closed. Needs major renovation. Breakfast is NOT Breakfast. Mini muffin and package oatmeal.

Worst experience I've had at a hotel. I had a reservation for a two night stay. Before arriving my husband called to make sure we were good to go, we were told yes. I believe her name was Mel. She even asked how long it would take us to arrive. Once we arrive she says sorry I don't have anymore rooms available. She says online reservations are not honored. She said it's only her there so it was her we spoke to 15 minutes prior. Why not tell us that when we called 15 minutes ago instead of wasting our time. Now we had nowhere to stay with our 2 kids. They did the same thing to my in-laws who also had a reservation there. We've never had anything happen to us like this before.

Big fridge and a nice kitchen. Hallway is really dark. You hardly see any guests in the hotel even the receptionist. If you walk around the hotel outside, you see people that seems to be permanent residents here. At night you'll see roaches greeting you. Not sure if I want to go back again.

The staff is very friendly and they have great customer service. House keeping can use a bit of more improvement, however the people at the desk do an excellent job. Mel, Rady, Ali, Luz, Michael are one of the reason I have stayed a bit longer. Compared to other Hotels I have stayed, the price is very good and the room had a small kitchen, which saved me a bit of money from going out most of the time.

I had a comfortable stay, but it's pretty basic. The location and their price is fair. But what stood out to me the most was their friendly service. The front dest clarks, Liz and Michael, were all about pleasing their customers and provided me with the excellent service. I'll definitely return again and also recommend to my out of state friends and family! For Michael and Liz's services, I gave one more star!

Quite a surprise to find rooms with a full kitchen and fridge at this price. Very clean, with everything you need to enjoy a few nights stay. Breakfast is just granola bars coffee and oatmeal, but it works. Staff is super helpful.

So this hotel was last minute due to the previous hotel not meeting standards. The first night was fine, until we got back from visiting family and our room keys were deactivated. The lady at night had an attitude towards my partner when he went down to get it fixed. Apparently they also had trouble getting into the office with their key and there was another visitor who had trouble as well. Due to it being an issue with multiple people you would think they would be understanding however their attitude was one of annoyance and couldn’t be bothered. Every night this weekend after 11pm one of our cards would not work, and trying to get ahold of someone at the front desk was a feat. I pressed the ring button several times with no assistance. The room was decent until I found roaches. Killed one that was crawling on the wall, at least six baby ones in the bathroom, and another adult one in the bathroom. Unfortunately I did not get a photo of them all, my daughter was freaking out and refused to use the bathroom. The hallways were always filled with trash bags or boxes of trash, as well as the stairwell and the elevator lobby. Our stay was Friday - Monday and just needed a place to shower and rest our heads since we spent majority of our day with family. Definitely not worth the $400 plus we spent. When checking out today the lady seemed preoccupied taking to the other workers and trying to log in to the system to give me a receipt of our stay. Then apologized that it was taking awhile since it gave so many prompts to log in. However, I feel that if you focused on a task rather than walk to the back then to the hallways door and talk to the male and female there it may have gone a little faster… Overall I’m highly upset with our stay and would most likely not come back to this establishment

After reading the reviews, I expected terrible rooms and it wasn't. The hotel is a bit old for sure but I slept fine. The staff is amazing (and I'm so sorry I forgot their names). Everyone was really helpful. My dad forgot his watch and they were kind enough to ship it back to him. Overall, I don't really have complaints. I booked rooms to sleep. Slept well and had great experience with a the staff I came across. Totally would recommend.

Wow this place smells really weird. And there is an after hour club of free- basing crazy people taking apart their cars and camping in the parking lot....round the clock. You wouldn't anticipate this from the area, a very business oriented neighborhood, nothing but office buildings and corporate themed restaurants, plus other hotels which host parking lots that seem to have the same problem..? This is the priciest extended stay in this area and you wouldn't know it if you're actually staying here. Good example: there is only one elevator for the whole building and it consists of 2 cars. One of them just became permanently out of order this evening. I anticipate much more foot traffic in the staircase in the future around here, and that frightens me for some reason. Fire alarm has been going off all day. Who knows for what reason....hopefully not a good one. To be burned to a crisp by some crackhead free basing cocaine in the stairwell+fire escape at extended stay america is not a death I am comfortable with...

Mel checked me in and Michael checked me out. Both employees made me feel as if I were their only customer. The room was clean and quiet. There was a 2 burner stove with a full size refrigerator. My wife and I stayed with 2 granddaughters. We all slept well and the AC worked well in 249. Thanks for a great stay.

I've been here with family as resident for 5 years, no major issues. Minor maintenance issues. The whole staff are kind and overall helpful on my needs, which always give attention in a few days. The manager is very nice and very professional always attending the properties issues. I admire her work ethics and principles. Overall excellent hotel to live in. Geart hospitality!!!!!!

Johnathan the male who works in the front desk is absolutely kind, benevolent, humble, charismatic, prompt, professional, and keeps his word with what he says he will do to provide great customer service. He definitely has a heart of Gold with the amount of consideration he obtains. There were a bombarding amount of people in the lobby and in a few minutes, (under 5 minutes), he had assisted everyone. It is always comforting to know that there will be someone with an optimistic character to attend to us.

The front desk is great. Especially Jenny and Jonathan. I can't thank them enough for being so very nice and kind to a old lady. They both deserve a raise! Very respectful and attentive and answer all your questions. Will come here again for sure.!!!God bless them. πŸ₯°πŸ˜ƒπŸ€©

My husband and I travel for work, he works I travel so it's important that he knows I'm safe while he's away. The staff here definitely make us feel welcome and are super friendly and helpful. Luz, Rady and Michael are amazing and make sure we are always taken care of. Any hospitality business would be lucky to acquire any one of these individuals. We will definitely be back to stay!

The apartment where I live in LA county sent me to Extended Stay America in Cypress with a paid voucher due to apartment renovations. I had the worst experience in 2020. I was moved from the first filthy room on the 2nd floor to a "just cleaned room" on the first floor only to later find myself covered in an itchy red breakout due to beg bugs. I never encountered bed bugs in my life. I used my clean sheets, blanket, and pillows to cover their bed (with beige-brown spot in the middle) - never removing the beddings. I started getting wavy flushes from head, downward, nauseated and the feeling that I wanted to throw up, headaches, and confused mental state. I thought it was due to the stress of moving and living in a strange place with animals. I was totally naΓ―ve about these bugs and never suspected a nice neighborhood with a nice looking clean hotel could be so filthy. I have bug phobia and could lose my mind if I think about this too much. YULK! A gross encounter I never wish anyone to experience.

I’ve been living here almost 4 years now, that area is great. The staff and the housekeepers are polite nice. especially Diana ,Mona we were blessed to have two great team leaders, Rady, and now Jonathan and the most sweetest housekeeper Antonia it’s in my opinion that these people make your stay feel like if you were at home I couldn’t ask for anything better

No room service unless you are staying at least a week. Musty smelling rooms and hallways. Carpet needs to be replaced everywhere. Our microwave was broken but they were fast about getting it fixed and let us use extra blankets. Moderately overpriced for what they had to offer. Hotel looked good on internet but poor condition in person. Most hotels I have stayed in offered a better experience.

Hotel was located in a quiet, secure area. Clean, well equipped with small kitchen area. Refrigerator and Microwave. Ironing Board and Hair Dryer. TV. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint was Queen Bed, was too hard, for me. Pillows were same. Continental Breakfast was fine.

A very pleasurable experience. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and safe location. The Manager Michael is a really great guy. Also the front desk agent Mona is very helpful. Definitely will stay here again my next visit!

Mini kitchen took this place from a decent room to one of my favorites! When you travel alot & rarely have access to a kitchen you end up eating out majority of the time unfortunately... but not when you stay with extended stay!!πŸ’―πŸ‘πŸ˜‹ Thanks extended stay for bringing a little normalcy back to a crazy hotel hoping life!!

Zero stars. This particular Extended Stay is absolutely gross. So gross that we walked right out after seeing/smelling our rooms. Our TV was missing and refrigerator didnt open. You can't really tell from the lobby but this place is run down. I got 2 rooms thru Groupon so no refund, lost almost $250. I sincerely feel bad for the families that have no other option but to stay there.
