Lovely lake views! We happened upon Harvey Gap State Park on our way to Rifle Falls but this ended up being the highlight of our day! The lake was gorgeous and we hiked around and found an unexpected (to us) waterfall!

This place was beyond imagination. The water is such a beautiful opaque blue. The rangers on duty were very pleasant and helpful. They talked for a bit about the lake, the forest, and shared some history. Swimming, floating, and windsurfing are big draws here.

Really nice day-use State Park. You can camp at Rifle Gap/Falls State Park and do the short drive to Harvey Gap. Beautiful blue water. Wakeless lake is perfect for paddle boarding if the wind allows. Bring your own shade since there is not much of it.

The water was so clear and without waves, perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. The only thing we did not like is that the shore is very muddy. So make sure you bring your water shoes. Also no showers.

It was a good spot for paddleboarding . The water was nice and warm. We were amazed by the color the water. You can also swim and do picnics. There are picnic tables and some grills in the area. Highly recommend this spot to do some water activities .

Great place for fishing & geared towards the angler but it's a pretty open lake as far as shore fishing is concerned.

Pretty cool lake looks like it would be real good. I think it was a little cold yet for the fish the day I went. Definitely will be back in about a month when it warms up more

The gap is full and great for paddle boards kayaking and other boating fun.

This park is a haven for paddle sports. They limit the wake/size of motors allowed on the lake making it easy to paddle through the water. It is in a beautiful location. I enjoyed swimming at the swim beach as well. My only complaint is that swim beach was not well marked, luckily we asked a ranger for a stamp for our passport boo and they gave us great directions to the swim beach!

This is a beautiful spot for family recreation! No wakes are allowed so it is perfect for paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, etc. The swim beach has a good amount of shade, picnic tables, and toilets. It gets pretty busy on the weekends.
