Really cool place! Came through town after a drive back to Denver from the Grand Canyon. Decided to stop in Glenwood Springs. Called Amiโ€™s after the office had closed and Craig, the owner, was very friendly and helpful! They were able to accommodate us with a spot for the teardrop camper. We were out of there before 7am, but was able to leave money in the Dropbox. Definitely recommend!! Super cute place, clean bathrooms, felt very safe and had cute bathroom artwork.

Depends on what you're looking for, perfect for our stopover. Pleasant experience when we called for same-day availability and check in with the same gentleman. Neighbors were friendly, too, looks like a lot of long-term units. It's 100 yards from freeway - which is pro and con since it makes it very convenient for a quick stop but of course you hear road noise. And trains on the other side of highway. Sites are terraced up the hill, we had a nice level site. Lots of mature trees. The approach road in is so filled with potholes, we laughed at a sign that said slow down 5 mph. Not a problem! But interior roads were fine. We would stay here again if we needed a break from driving.

I loved my 2 night my stay here. I tent camped and I had one of the best sites with great views of sunrise and sunset on the mountains in front of the property, and of course the millions of stars you can see from anywhere on the property at night. The bathrooms/showers were always clean, and I very much appreciated the dish washing room with a microwave for tent campers. There is a bit of highway noise, but it quiets down a ton at night and I didnโ€™t have any issues falling asleep, even in a tent.

I recently had the pleasure of returning to this remarkable campsite for the second time, and once again, it left me in awe of its natural beauty and charm. This hidden gem is an absolute paradise for nature lovers, offering breathtaking views that seem to be painted by the gods themselves. From the moment I set foot in this serene haven, I knew I had found a slice of heaven on Earth. One of the most remarkable features of this campsite is its exceptional location. Nestled amidst a lush forest and surrounded by rolling hills, the campsite provides an unparalleled sense of tranquility and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The picturesque landscape offers the perfect backdrop for anyone seeking solitude and a deep connection with nature. As a tent camper, I can confidently say that this site is tailor-made for outdoor enthusiasts like me. The well-maintained camping spots are strategically placed to maximize privacy while still affording magnificent views of the surrounding vistas. Setting up camp here is an absolute delight, and falling asleep under a blanket of stars, with the gentle rustling of leaves as my lullaby, is an experience I will cherish forever. But what truly sets this campsite apart is its exceptional dog-friendly policy. As a dog owner, it warms my heart to find a place that not only welcomes four-legged companions but also goes the extra mile to ensure their comfort. My furry friend had the time of their life exploring the vast open spaces, and seeing them revel in the natural surroundings was a joy to behold. Beyond the campsite itself, adventure awaits just a stone's throw away. This nature lover's paradise is conveniently located near a myriad of attractions and hiking trails. Whether you're an experienced hiker or a leisurely stroller, there's a trail suited for every skill level. From cascading waterfalls to awe-inspiring vistas, each hike rewards you with a sense of wonder and a deeper appreciation for Mother Nature's grandeur. Furthermore, I must commend the campsite's manager who wears many hats with grace and enthusiasm. Their friendly and helpful nature creates an inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home in this natural sanctuary. This exceptional individual takes on the responsibility of maintaining the grounds and ensuring that every camper has a truly memorable stay. Their wealth of knowledge about the area's history and the best nearby attractions adds an enriching touch to the overall experience, transforming each interaction into an opportunity for discovery and connection. Their dedication and passion for this slice of paradise shine through in every aspect of the camping journey, making this campsite a place of warmth, adventure, and lifelong memories. In conclusion, this campsite is an absolute gem that continues to captivate my heart. Its breathtaking views, idyllic location, and commitment to offering a welcoming environment for both humans and their furry friends make it a true standout. If you're looking for an unforgettable camping experience, surrounded by nature's splendor and with a myriad of hiking adventures at your doorstep, then look no further. This campsite is the epitome of camping perfection!

Spent a great overnight RV stay! The grounds are very rustic and vertical, with sometimes rugged roads. But had no problem with our 21โ€™ travel trailer. Staff is great and the highway noise wasnโ€™t nearly as bad as weโ€™d feared. Elderly or wheelchair folks might have trouble with the hills and terrain getting to the restrooms. But weโ€™ll definitely be back!

Very nice people and a great location. Everything is maintained regularly. Camper sites are pretty small with not much room to hang around outside. But it's a great place to park the camper to access all the fun stuff in town.

So nice to have a campground where the owners understand tent dwelling campers needs. They had really nice bathrooms with great showers. A microwave! A Gas BBQ which we cooked our hamburgers on. A porta potty, running water AND electricity at the tent site. Craig was very very nice. LOVE this place. Will go again.

Found this hidden gem last minute. Was the best RV and camper site we stayed at our whole trip. Friendly, informative staff, respectful neighbors, clean bathrooms, warm showers, good prices. It's the camping lux. Has all the utilities you need, while still being a wonderful outdoor experience.

Easy to find. Fire pit big enough to roast a small pig. Cool layout of the different camp sites kind of carved into the hill side. A staff member had stopped by as we were by our cars in the morning to say hi and make sure everyone was good. Very friendly. A Cool little spot to rest and eat, wash up and continue adventuring.

I just have to say that is is one of the nicest and quaint campgrounds in western Colorado! The bath house was very nice and clean and we even got to watch a bear up on the mountain behind the campground. Iโ€™d definitely stay here again!

Very close and convenient spot to camp that's only a few minutes from everything in Glenwood Springs. The manager is very friendly, especially if you're new to the area and want recommendations on what to do. We brought our camping trailer hooked up to our truck; the angles on some of the spots that aren't pull-through can be a bit challenging to back into but that's honestly balanced out by the very clean bathrooms, showers, and amenities available. There are folks who stay more long-term and you can see why: this is more like an RV community than a simple temporary park. You can hear the highway but we didn't notice it at all while in our trailer. The Glenwood Meadows shopping, hot springs attractions, and dining are less than a 5-minute drive away.

This is an interesting "campground". Half the spots seem to be full time residents and not campers. The entire place is on the side of a hill so be prepared to drive up and down hills with tight turns. The check in area isn't exactly thought through so we just had to park and block a few spots for 10 mins. There are no online reservations so you have to call. We only called a day in advance and luckily they had a 30 amp spot available for 2 days as we were just stopping on our way through to raft. The full hookups suck. Everything is about 6 ft apart so we had to double up on all of our hoses. The sewer ended up being up hill though so almost useless. The bathroom is ok but the showers are a bit odd. There was plenty of hot water but there's nowhere to put your clothes other than a bench outside the shower in a more open area that other people could be waiting.

I stayed there for 2 nights these last couple nights in a travel trailer. I showed up around 8PM and there was no registration paperwork for me, just for others even though we had talked just the night before. I called the night number posted a handful of times and after no response for a half hour began having to walk around to find someone who knew what was going on in this Campground. After knocking on every door, I finally found someone who was a part of management and got me into a spot. A whole fiasco......website showed full hookups and water was not working but no one said anything about that. Also, the website shows $44/night but they charge you $46/night. Would have assumed management would have handled this situation better, but they didn't want to do anything about it to make amends. I have camped for 7-8 years in Campgrounds across America and have never run into anything like this.

Dr. Craig might meet you at check in, if so consider yourself lucky. You've just met an architect with a vision. With the hands of a surgeon on the controls of a dozer he has sculpted a steep hill side throwaway of a property into a stadium seating style rv park. And in this venue there are no bad seats. Enjoy the view.

This was our first experience camping at a park like this and I'm happy we chose this one. It's quiet, the staff is super friendly and easy going, and it's easy access to the freeway for seeing and doing all that there is around glenwood springs.

Our first park with sites that are terraced up the mountain. Because of this we had a fantastic view of the Colorado River and the trains that go by. The staff was so helpful with all the questions we had and a great tour guide.

A rustic campground with amazing views of the mountains. Less than 10 min drive to downtown and hot springs. Craig and Tim are so kind.

Me and my husband stayed here for 2 nights for $40 per night to park a trailer and car. They have clean bathrooms and shower, a lot of nats which canโ€™t be helped. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, they drive around to monitor the place. Went for a walk and enjoyed the sunrise. They have a small area to wash dishes and sit down (indoor). They have a quiet policy and we didnโ€™t have any issue with noise. It is next to a busy road though, so if you want silence you wonโ€™t get that here

Great location to camp while visiting Glenwood Springs! Easy in and out, owner and Tim extremely friendly with wonderful suggestions for the area. So much to see and do, stayed another day, hated to leave. Def will be back on our next visit West!

We stayed for 1 night and had a wonderful time. The camp host is a jolly good chap and was very helpful and informative. Our camp site was spacious and clean with plenty of firewood in the fire pit. The toilet and showers were extremely clean and the water nice and hot which was great after a nice hike to Hanging Lake's.

Steep access but we are in a canyon. Even with the I-70 corridor below it was really quiet and peaceful. Even with a 29' 5thwheel it was easy to get into...ability to use low range gears in transfer case was helpful on transmission.

Amiโ€™s acres was the perfect find as we traveled cross country. Nestled in the mountains the views are stunning and still close to all the attractions. As a family owned establishment the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Nice park ! Gentlemen that checked us in was very nice! Drive way to office a little rough but our spot was great! Great views! Close to traffic and construction but we were too tired and didnโ€™t hear a thing once we went to bed ๐Ÿฅด Overall weโ€™d stay here again if we come again to this area ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Camped here for a night in our tent and it was great! Beautiful view to wake up to, great location just a couple minutes from town, and the nicest showers of any campground weโ€™ve been to. Highly recommend this campground!

Awesome campground! We used the tent camping spots and they were excellent! The showers and restrooms are spotless and very clean! Everyone here is extremely friendly and helpful! Highly recommend for camping. Yes there is road noise from the interstate but itโ€™s manageable and to be expected being close. Inside a car or RV you donโ€™t really hear it. There is a train occasionally about once a day. Still worth it all and will stay here in the future!
