Spent 2 nights here in a loft suite with a family of 5. Midweek right after Christmas knocked us back $1,000 for the room. Room was nice and spacious, plenty of room for us to spread out. The water park was pretty nice but soaring eagle and splash village on frankenmuth were much better. We fully expected everything to be expensive but we were left feeling like there wasn’t much value. Paid $60 for 2 hot dog meals and nachos and Everything was pretty gross. A couple of other annoyances: they have “premium parking” that you have to pay for if you want to be by the door. Problem with that is nobody is using it so the entire parking lot is full with all these open spots…classic money grab. Also, the elevator design is inadequate. There’s only 2 elevators that are not only used for people checking in and checking out but then also all the pool traffic. Caused backlogs everyday. I didn’t find the staff overly friendly either…bartender in the pool area was very unpleasant (and ironically was wearing a Karen name tag) Overall it was mostly enjoyable but I think soaring eagle and splash village provide better water parks for less money.

We paid for the basic birthday package for my son’s birthday. We arrived & checked in, got our room & wrist bands, got my sons birthday stuff & went to the room. The room door wasn’t decorated like it was supposed to be. We gave them time to do it, went down to the water park for a couple hours, came back to the room & it still wasn’t decorated. Went to the front desk & told them about it. We told them we didn’t want the decorations at this point, because it now wasn’t a surprise. We were told to go back to the room & someone would be up to take care of it. We waited in the room for 20 minutes, nobody showed up. We went to leave & they had came & put the poster on the door, never let us know they were there or talked to us. The poster they put up was ripped too. Went back to the front desk & told them we didn’t want the ripped poster, as we already told them. Asked to speak to a manger. The manager said sorry, there’s nothing we can do. We will never be back to this place. What has happened to customer service? This place obviously doesn’t care about their customers, only getting money from them.

From the time we entered the Lobby until we left we were met with smiling staff members that wanted to make your stay perfect, and it was. Our room was amazing plenty of room and I like that there is a real table to sit and eat or play games. The water park had something for everyone. All the staff seemed generally happy to be there and were more than willing to help in any way they could. Thank you and I will be recommending this pace to others.🤩🤩🤩

Front desk staff is super attentive and nice. The Buckets food stand inside the water park is very very under staffed. Many of us have been waiting in line for around 45 to 60 minutes for lunch. It may be better to leave the park, do a cheaper fast causal restaurant and then return. The company just needs to better support their staff during meal rush times.

Ok first starting off… this is a fun little water park to take your children to and stay the night at. There are lots of lifeguards to be sure of your safety. There isn’t much to do at the water park, you can go down the slides a few times or go on that big structure or hang out in the water but after a while it gets boring. The slides are just real quick and have small turns to them. The lazy river is so shallow it’s just a big circle. They just leave the tubes in the river and the lifeguards do nothing about it. It’s only geared for your children and nothing for the adults to do. The food service is so unacceptable. You have to use these kiosks which don’t even have all the options for your food on them and they don’t give you a receipt. The food is way overpriced. They give you a big overload on French fries and just 3 chicken strips with that meal. People go up and dig in the food. The food wasn’t even that good. Way too salty. The Dr Pepper just tasted like water. My family member even got sick to their stomach after drinking it. They were all out of ice in their drinking fountains and didn’t even bother to fill it. The arcade is way too expensive. You can buy a certain amount of credits for an overpriced amount of money and then they are all gone by just one game. Everything in their gift shops are overpriced. Great wolf lodge is good for the children but not for the parents. I do not recommend going here.

The property was very well taken care of generally. It was not very crowded at all which made it probably doubly satisfying when we went during peak season. The promotional rate for the loft room was very reasonable allowing for the expensive amenities and food options to also be within reach with extra kids in tow. We had a view overlooking West Grand Traverse Bay in the distance so morning coffee on the balcony was enjoyable. The classic lodge theme is most fitting here. Great entertainment and food adjacent and not far otherwise. This is one of my favorite stays in recent memory for sure.

This place is AMAZING! A fantastic family getaway, especially for kids! The staff is so friendly, I felt like I was on a cruise. I think it’s impossible to have anything other than a GREAT TIME! The water park is top notch, and our nieces and nephews ranging from 2-13 years old LOVED it! There are so many other family/kid activities, it feels like Disney World 🤩 The hotel room was more than we expected. All in all I would highly recommend visiting for a family vacation.

I would give it 5 stars but the rooms are average. The bathroom is tiny and the light/fan sounds like a jet plane. The dining table in the room is nice, lots of sleeping areas but the queens felt more like full size. The water park is fantastic. We brought a 2 year old and 14 year old and they were both entertained by it all day. There’s lots of stuff to do but be prepared to pay extra for everything. They have some nice daily activities, geared more towards younger kids that are included.

Plenty of fun activities for everyone. Bowling, mini golf, arcade, and of course the water park. Staff are super friendly and really make you feel welcome. The reason I gave it 4 stars is we had the Wolf Den room which is cool, but it had a tear in the screen, the curtains where dirty and stained. It also didn't seem to be designed with a family in mind. There wasn't any sort of night light like other hotels have, there wasn't a lot of space to hang wet clothes, and there could have been more privacy for changing with a simple sliding door in the bunk bed area.

A great choice for an all in one play destination! First time going and loved it. The room had a broken mini fridge but they took care of it very promptly. And it all worked out. We had a "suite" which was two separate rooms that had an internal door connecting them. The activities were excellent. More stuff to do with the kids then time allowed. Food is expectedly overpriced. But tasty.

Very fun and nice place. Restaurant on-site had great food and service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Activities on-site were great for kids. There was always something going on from kids and parents yoga to a dance party during which it snowed inside (soap bubble snow). Waterpark was great for tiny kids to adults. Fun areas for all ages. Great slides for adults and smaller kids too. Fun lazy river and nice large hot tub. Kids cabin was a great room with a little cabin room area with a twin bed and a bunk bed. Living area had queen bed and couch as well as a small table and chairs. Nice kitchenette area and serviceable bathroom with tub. Great fireplace, TV, and nice balcony.

The rooms are nice. They didn't have enough staff to run all of the water slides on a Sunday, which is a busy day here. There is burgers, chicken, pizza, and fries at the food service inside the water park part. The food was decent but prices are ridiculous. $16 for a single burger, fries and non-refillable soft drink. You have to scan your drink cup before the dispenser works, and it monitors exactly how much it dispenses, so you get your 16 oz and not a drop more. This whole thing seems very, we're here to get every last bit of money we can out of you while you're here. The water slides are good and there is plenty to do for the kids too small to ride the big slides.

Family had a lot of fun in the water park. Prices were reasonable. We did have a small issue with our balcony being loose which was a safety issue. They were going to resolve it with us being there but we didn't want to be bothered through our stay. Everyone was friendly and willing to help at all times .

We had a blast at Great Wolf Lodge. It was a bit crowded, but still a great time. The pools were clean and warm. The beds were soft and comfortable. Staff were all super friendly. The only thing that could be better would be more of a variety of poolside food. But what they have is delicious and easy for kids to munch on. We are already planning a return visit!

Had a great time. Pricing is better on certain days with special deals. People were very nice (did have an issue with a waiter). Extra activities are very fun. Water park was amazing! Loved that our wristbands could be scanned to add costs to our room bill. Definitely will go again but will speak up early if server isn't helpful. No let's wait and see. It only went drastically worse. Day girls at same place were excellent!

I've gotta say, we've stayed at this Great Wolf Lodge several times before, and although we've never had a bad experience here, this time everything was spectacular and everyone outdid themselves. From the front desk, the housekeeping, the lifeguards, the arcade cashier's, management, the gift shop cashier, even the woman at Dunkin Donuts, everyone, every single staff member I came across was exceptional! We truly felt at home, and even with the stress of taking all three kids (10, 8, and 1) by myself because their dad couldn't get off work, it was still a nice relaxing mini vacation. Thank you everyone at Great Wolf Lodge for the wonderful experience...again! We'll be back!

Thought it would be "great wolf " to treat Grandsons to an early Christmas gift and celebrate Thanksgiving with them there. In my travels I have had much nicer rooms with full kitchens for less $. The buffet ($204 for 4)should have been included in the $1000 price of the room for the two nights. I understand and concede that the water park was included, which they loved. I set the bar too high for the Thanksgiving buffet. Sad, and disheartening the buffet was less than palatable considering the quality, selection and the amount of salt content. Although the table where the"chefs" carved the prime rib and turkey to your request, was tasty. Of all the other "buffets" I've been to in several states, I've had more diverse selections and greater quality again for less $. Checked this off my bucket list.

We recently stayed here and had the best experience. I have a 4 year old autistic son who is a master escape artist and is teaching his 2 year old brother all.his tricks. They both were easily escaping our room and we were super stressed out and worried something would happen to our sons while we were sleeping. My husband went to the front desk and explained the situation and they were so friendly and understanding. They immediately sent maintenence to our room and installed safety bars on the balcony doors and put a higher up lock on our main door. It helped so much to keep our boys safe and lessened the worry and stress on us. The hotel was very clean and on top of any issues. The life guards are trained very well and definitely do their jobs. I have 1 suggestion for them to help improve their already excellent standards it would be to already have safety locks in the rooms that help keep children safe. Thanks great wolf lodge for the amazing hospitality and for the family memories! We will be back.

We go every year with our family and our kids look forward to it every year (ages 6-16). The rooms are always clean, pretty well kept up. Staff had been friendly 99% of the time, and eager to help resolve issues. If you prefer dining out or shopping the city while you stay there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Our kids do the Magi Quest, which is like a huge scavenger hunt quest journey for the kids. The Waterpark is nice and warm and there is quite a variety of things for kids and adults to enjoy in their. Plenty of lifeguard staff as well, which is reassuring.

Great family destination. The activities inside aside from the water park keep the kids entertained (arcade, Magic Quest). The facility is clean and the life guards are on point. Prices fluctuate depending on the season as expected, so book in advance. Money well spent and both the adults and 3 kids (15, 12 & 9) were entertained. However, if you have been here more than a handful of times, it kind of loses its luster. We enjoyed the visit, and 2 days were plenty.

Many of the staff members were uplifting and kind, but there was definitely some that were very snarky and made me feel unwelcomed. I was there for Thanksgiving and I appreciate everyone that worked that day and did their best to make the dinner amazing. I really wish they would do something more for adults when it came to the water park like have the lazy river actually be a lazy river and not some kind of chaotic rapids, instead of just having an adults only hot tub.

Even though everything was a bit pricey you should definitely save and come here at least once. My family and I had a really good time. Servers were nice. Food was really good no complaints from either of us. Drinks were too over priced but worth it. The bowling area needs an assistant because it would only allow us to add only two players to one lane.. not sure but that’s how we had to play. Arcade was too pricey. I didn’t like the fact the pool area closed at 8pm but the hot tub was really big and gave us a little privacy. The pool area had an adult beverage bar . We took advantage of that. Lol but it’s worth the trip at least once . Thank you for giving us a warm welcome we had a blast with the magi quest it kept us up and walking around even at 12 at night while the bar was open still serving we snagged a drink and did our quest.
