This little museum is an overlooked gem in the city of Garland"s downtown eating and entertainment area . The staff here is incredibly friendly and informative and able to tell you just about anything you want to know about the history of all that is the city of Garland. The displays and photographs of the area are beyond compare. We participated in a really fun scavenger hunt that provided a list of clues and a lanyard for all the pins obtained from a sucessful hunt.

This is a good place where historical relics are well preserved. Also, the guide's explanation was perfect, and they were so kind. Thank you!

Nice displays of historical items of daily life that were actually used by the people of Garland and local community. Admission is free. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. However, it's a self guided tour set up. Also, only the train station and museum are open to the public.

Emily was so sweet and showed my wild boys and I around. She explained things really well and was super friendly. We enjoy your time there.

We were pleasantly surprised how much there was to see. The building is historic along with all the interesting displays. We recommend to anyone to visit. Not a big museum, but a very impressive one on Garland history and the railroads.

Excellent place for local history. My kids feel it is haunted. Lots of great facts about Garland.

Volunteer Sarah guided us through everything & made us feel so welcome! This small museum is PACKED with cool stuff! The kids got to "use" a typewriter, rotary phones, & a telegraph. I was treated to beautiful bltakeaway booklets to walk some of the local cemetaries. The coolest part: today I heard a record on a hand cranked Victrola. It was a solid day. 👍🏼 Great resource.

This is one of my favorite libraries in Texas! Landmark Museum has plenty of good selection of books and computers. They have a website where we can look up a book and reserved it. So when I come to this library, the book is already prepared and I can also use the checkout machine to borrow the book. Very convenient and quick. The staff and librarian are nice and helpful.
