What a great experience! My partner and I stayed here and can’t wait to visit again. Mary and Curtis made us feel welcomed from the time we pulled in until we left. The place is immaculately clean and the rooms are large, beautifully furnished and well supplied. They didn’t forget that half of the experience is the breakfast, it was delicious and ample! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with our coffee. It’s a great location - about 15 minutes from downtown Raleigh, about 5 minutes from shopping and plenty of restaurants, with some quaint shops just across the street.

Mary and her husband, Curtis, have lovingly restored the historic 1897 Banks family home. They have transformed it into a haven of elegance. Each room in the home boasts its own unique character and a captivating history. The property offers delightful outdoor spaces, inviting porch areas, a distinctive library, an exquisite dining room, and a charming garden room. As if that weren't enough, they offer delightful surprises and a breakfast experience that tantalizes the taste buds. Mary and Curtis are always eager to share their wealth of knowledge about the home and the surrounding area, leaving you with a strong desire to explore more of this charming community and its history. I assure you, you won't regret it – this experience will remain etched in your memory!

My husband and I had a short stay with Innkeepers Curtis and Mary, however it was fantastic! It is a historic home and the couple were more than willing to share information on the home and provide a tour and speak to renovations over the years. My husband has severe allergies and Mary was more than accommodating in providing breakfast that he was able to not only eat but actually enjoy. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable.

Wonderful couple who are helping keep local history alive and sharing it with the current generation. Beautiful home with lovely accomodations and a rich story to tell.
