We were here for lunch which was park of excursion on the Viking river cruise to visit the city, the porcelain factory and museum also the Christmas market! Lunch was a set menu, consistent, with pumpkin and ginger cream soup, some sort of a chicken dish, which I don’t know and the Mulberry dessert! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. Specially the service all the waiter and waitress are very nice. They come to our table a couple times to ask what we like to drink also quickly refill our drinks glasses! This restaurant also next to the churches also next of the market! I wish the best for this restaurant. You’ve God permit my wife and I visit this city again. I would love to come back to have a meal’

Nice selection of beer and good food. The vad side is that staff refuses/cannot speak english.

Amazing Food - really Steakprofi Place , Friendly team🌹

A lovely place in Meißen serving good size portions of tasty food (we had herrings in an apple and yoghurt sauce with potatoes and generous salad - delicious and generous), and locally brewed beer. Service was excellent. Seating outside facing the square was a nice spot - there was also a lot of tables available in the square itself that were popular. One star lost on atmosphere because of the impact of other people’s smoke from other tables drifting across us - not something the restaurant can control.

We had a hamburger, Rinderroulade Meissner Art and Ratsherrenschnitzel. They were all three great. Service was friendly and fairly quick getting our food. The inside of the Keller is very traditional and clean. There are a few tables to eat outside if weather permits. I would recommend this place to friends. The sweet potatoe fries are amazing and a must try.

Best service. Great delicious food and very good beer! Reasonable price. A must when in Miessen.

went there after a long walk when it was freezing. the staff is super nice and could speak English so there was no problem with communication. food really nice! ordered schnitzel & tea. decided to go for a dessert and did not regret it! panna cotta and surprise dessert with an espresso were amazing ✨️
