Wirt Am Platzl

We are really impressed with the restaurant, amenities and nice staff and we'll certainly return a lot more often now 😃 The food is delicious, all home-made and unique, they have the traditional Austrian Wirtshausklassiker / Restaurant classics but also specialize in oriental food. I ate the best Falafel with Hummus in the whole of Austria there, Fish soup is sooooo yum 🤤 as are their delicious fish curry🐟 🍛 and oriental semolina cake with homemade pistachio ice cream and Affogato. Also the soups with Frittaten and Kaspressknödel are super good, same as the salads. We also tried the Pulled Pork Burrito which was also super good, next time we'll try the Smashed Burgers and grilled Melanzane with Feta. We can only recommend the Wirt am Platzl, it was even easier than thought to find parking because there are actually sufficient parking spaces available around the restaurant 🅿️

Amazing food, good people & nice atmosphere. Very friendly even though I have 3 kids that ain't easy to manage 🙂 will be back for sure. Very recommended.

Positively surprised by vegan options on menu which were absolutely delicious! Very lovely space with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Looking forward to dine there again!
