Perfect hotel with very big rooms with wonderful design. The best breakfast buffet in Munich.

We stayed here in July and we can easily recommend it. The rooms and amenities including breakfast are excellent. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the main train station, trams and good restaurants. We will stay here again if we return to Munich.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Hotel Marc Munich in June 2023. Staff at front desk very helpful when we asked for extra items like coat hangers. Breakfast was great and the women who worked there was so friendly and helpful. Excellent location for our purposes. Easy access to trains, trams and buses. Also Information Office just a few minutes away to help us with our adventures around Munich. Our room was on the interior overlooking the courtyard and therefore very quiet. Highly recommend.

When I comeback to Munich I will stay here for sure. The hotel itself is pretty, minimalist and tidy. Breakfast must be the best I have ever paid for, buffet has quite options and you may find something different to eat every day no matter the duration of your stay. Staff is the nicest, waiters, reception, cleaning, everyone is always nice and offers you a smile and help when is needed. Thanks to Raju and Steffen for being exceptionally kind during the check-in, also specially thanks to Jean-Claude and Tobias during the check-out. They also took care of my luggage during the whole day after checking-out. I feel grateful to stay here and experienced München during 2 weeks. 5 stars no doubt, completely recommend!

If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBuIIy. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! Great hotel with a great breakfast. Location is pretty central, though the street it is on isn't the nicest. Decent access to shops, subway, and bus stations. Service was good, and breakfast is really good with a lot of variety of foods.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable rooms, very helpful and friendly staff. We also appreciated the cold water refill station in the lobby. Great location near the train station, local sights and restaurants. We would definitely recommend to friends.

Stayed for two nights recently at the front end of a Europe vacation. Easy walk from Hauptbahnhof. As with many large German cities, the area directly around HBF is a little sketchy, but certainly didn't feel unsafe walking around even late at night. Check-in process a breeze with very friendly staff. Smallish hotel lobby area is modern and clean. Rooms had modern furnishings that felt brand new. Sparkling clean like the rest of hotel. Well appointed bathrooms and also very clean and modern. Good Wifi signal. Cherry on top was included breakfast which was outstanding. Highly recommend the Marc for leisure or business travel.

Great spot to stay because its close to all of the shopping areas. Theres 2 nearby markets at the time of writing. The subway/rail is a few minutes walk. The front desk gave quite good service. They anticipated my arrival and checked me in about 5 minutes flat. It felt great honestly. They provided an umbrella for us during rain as well

Super nice hotel. Much nicer than I thought it would be. The breakfast was great also if you get that. The front desk was very helpful and the rooms were very modern and nice.

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Nothing special to mention from this hotel. As it happens normally in Germany, the staff were grumbling and you need also to check the bill with a loupe, they wanted to charge extra things.

Before I had ever touched anything, I noticed both bath towels had stains. I also noticed the toilet had an unpleasant smell. I reported both things to the front desk, and while replacement towels were fine, the odor never entirely disappeared. The bed was very comfortable and everything worked just fine, but even the upgraded rooms are still on the small side. The hotel is near the train station, which is very convenient, but it's not the greatest neighborhood. There is also a lot of construction going on right now and many of the streets are torn up. Now that I know Munich much better, I would make a different choice next time.

Overall great experience. Super location. Toilet smelled like piss, needed some better cleaning. Towels also smelled a bit unusual but were clean. Nice shower. The main room doors are slam shut very loud and may need some tuning. Breakfast was very overvalued at 20,5€ and was like a typical hotel breakfast buffet.

We had a very nice stay at the Marc hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the location was very close to the city centre. Also the breakfast was very nice with lots of options. The staff was very friendly especially Raju, who was exceptionally kind and helpful. Thank you, completely recommended.

Today we wanted a settler, for two days! But the old gray-haired man was not very friendly. He spoke in a high tone. The representative refused to call the manager. we chose another hotel. This hotel is not recommended.

Will stay here each time I’m in Munich. Close to train station, nice lobby, free coffee in room, nice big rain shower, and bathroom was closed off from room.

I thought this place was great. The Hauptbahnhof area is not the smartest, but it has great transport links, and the hotel itself is a little oasis. The rooms are modern and smart, and it has a really good breakfast buffet too, all for a reasonable price.

From the sparkling water on tap in the lobby to great recommendations for local fare from the front desk staff, we were comfortable and cared for at the Marc München. The concierge was disappointed overhearing that we had gone to Starbuck’s, and quickly set about recommending local restaurants to try - and they were fantastic. The breakfast in the on-site restaurant was a perfect way to start the day, and the room was appropriately appointed. The immediate neighborhood is not that lovely, but the proximity to Karlsplatz and the Hbhf maire than made up for it. We would definitely recommend - a great value for the stay.

We stayed at Marc Munchen while we attended Ocktoberfest. Short walk to Ocktoberfest, great location near the Costume & Rifleman parade route. Friendly & helpful staff, clean room, quiet at night, nice bar in the lobby and an awesome breakfast each morning. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

My family and I attended Oktoberfest and this Hotel was perfect! Only 15 min walk to the festival, and everyone was nice and helpful. A main train hub is near by to make it easy to get around Munich and the surrounding areas easy.

Hotel was very nice and in a great location. Convenient walk to the market and to Oktoberfest. Awesome breakfast with a ton of variety to choose from. Also appreciated the water in the lobby.

Very happy with my room, loved the toiletries and very impressed with the calming spray for my pillow. The breakfast buffet was superb. Complaints: my room was terribly hot - 24 degrees! Took ages to cool it down. The buffet staff didn't have much understanding of food allergies. I asked which foods were gluten free as I have Coeliac disease, and they kept trying to give me lactose free foods. I would have liked more breakfast but didn't dare because I didn't want to be sick from accidentally eating gluten. Also there were no tea making facilities in my room. I had to go down to reception to ask for a kettle and tea bags

Location is near hauptbahnhof, central but not best area. Very friendly staff, lovely. Good breakfast. Super expensive day rate for no gym or pool.

The hotel was perfect for 3 nights. The room was clean and modern! Staff is friendly and polite. The hotel is walking distance to Marienplatz and all the museums and other attractions!

One of the better experiences of hotels my partner and I stayed at in Germany with the accommodations; complimentary water in the lobby with option of carbonation, espresso machine with pods, bathroom towel warmer, mini fridge. Bed was a little on the firmer for my liking but my partner might have liked it. Check in/check out was seamless.

A very experienced, multilingual proffessional manager. (One of the reasons I come back). Great rooms with fresh comfy beds. Good internet. Parking is €10. A short walk from the city center and all the sights. It's my second stay here and it will be my regular place for leisure and business.

Great hotel for business stays. Decent sized rooms with a modern clean aesthetic. Large bathrooms and decent set of toiletries. Well connected with a short walk to the Munich Central Station. The hotel does not have an in-house restaurant but there are plenty options nearby. Good choice for business trips.

We stayed here in November for 4 nights. The hotel is very nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was perfect, very comfortable and really quiet, with a lovely large comfy bed. The breakfast was exceptional, the choice is fantastic, with something for everyone and everything so fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff here was super professional and friendly. The hotel room was very spacious and actually felt very cozy inside. The location is super convenient, with the central train station being just a block away and the historical center just a 10 min walk. And on top of that, the price for the room is very reasonable. I'd absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is aesthetically very pleasing, parking is offered onsite (however the garage is a bit difficult to get out of), and the staff is nice. The room is great, everything is renovated, comfortable bed, very clean, and nice offer of travel toiletries. I was pleasantly surprised.

New, trendy, clean, modern- just a short walk from the Munich Hbf. Area around the hotel looks a little rough but it is safe and busy with other decent hotels and youth hostels. I would absolutely stay here again.

Awful hard like rock beds. I couldn't sleep at all for the 4 nights I was there and as a result it ruined my holidays. I was forced on the last night to change Hotel and get a good sleep. In addition the A/c was always off despite asking them repeatedly to switch it on. Just awful experience. Staff were nice and offered a refund initially but we found a middle solution of adding extra duvet layers on top of the mattress. Nothing worked though. I don't know if I was unlucky and had bad experience but I was told by the hotel staff that all mattresses are the same. So 1 star from me for the bad experience.

Excellent room; very clean, spacious, modern and well maintained. Breakfast was amazing - one of the best I've had. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowing us an early check-in.

3 stars due to the Breakfast is not included. We booked this hotel due to reviews below stating “included breakfast was excellent “ when we arrived we were told Breakfast is $20 extra per person. Otherwise Decent hotel. For the money we spent we felt like the breakfast should have been included.

Good, basic hotel. We were able to book day of for a last minute need. We stayed in the middle of November and the weather was unseasonably warm and they had already turned off the ac. Our room was 75 degrees! The front desk was not very nice when we asked if the thermostat could be looked it. We had no idea the ac was turned off. It was recommended we open the window, but with our room one floor above the street there was a lot of cigarette smoke that would waft in. Room was nice and clean.

This hotel merits a full 5-star rating. During my overnight stay in Munich, I had a flawless experience. What stood out the most was the incredibly courteous staff dedicated to taking care of guests. Additionally, the location is perfect, being very close to the station.
