A
Regrettable
Experience
I
recently
had
an
experience
with
Fit
Star
that
has
left
me
deeply
disappointed
and
frustrated.
My
story
is
one
of
inflexibility,
lack
of
understanding,
and
an
adherence
to
policy
over
compassion.
I
subscribed
to
Fit
Star
for
one
year
and
paid
the
full
amount
upfront.
Due
to
the
sudden
onset
of
the
Corona
pandemic,
my
one-year
exchange
program
was
cut
short,
and
I
had
to
return
home.
This
left
me
unable
to
physically
cancel
my
membership
at
Fit
Star,
something
I
did
not
even
think
would
be
necessary
since
I
had
already
prepaid
for
a
one-year
term.
When
I
contacted
Fit
Star
to
explain
my
situation,
I
was
met
with
resistance.
They
insisted
that
I
must
travel
from
Denmark
to
Munich
to
cancel
my
subscription
in
person.
This
demand,
in
the
midst
of
a
global
health
crisis,
was
not
only
unreasonable
but
showed
a
complete
lack
of
empathy
and
understanding
for
my
circumstances.
Despite
numerous
attempts
to
clarify
my
situation
and
my
limited
use
of
the
subscription,
Fit
Star
remained
intransigent.
I
even
consulted
with
the
Danish
debt
collection
agency,
who
found
Fit
Star's
behavior
unacceptable.
Reluctantly,
I
paid
the
89€
fee,
not
because
it
was
legally
enforceable,
but
to
avoid
any
potential
future
complications.
This
experience
has
left
a
sour
taste
in
my
mouth,
and
I
feel
compelled
to
warn
others.
I
strongly
advise
prospective
customers
to
consider
other
fitness
options,
especially
those
who
might
find
themselves
in
non-standard
situations.
Fit
Star's
unwillingness
to
accommodate
my
unique
circumstances
shows
a
lack
of
customer
care
and
a
rigidity
that
doesn't
reflect
well
on
their
organization.
Please
consider
this
review
a
cautionary
tale
and
think
twice
before
committing
to
a
subscription
with
Fit
Star.
Their
conduct
has
proven
to
me
that
policies
and
profits
are
prioritized
over
people
and
principles.
