Nice small Chinese garden within the city. The design is cosy with traditional architecture. Unfortunately the place seems to be permanently closed. No opening hours visible anywhere and it's slowly decaying.

If you are looking for the JAPANISCHER Garten, which is shown next to the Chinese one on the map, this is NOT a typical one so don't get your hopes up. It's more like a little nook in the park with some water and stone lanterns, but if you're a Japenese garden enthusiast don't expect much or plan a daytrip around it. It's not woth visiting just for that; however, if you are in Westpark anyway it's a good idea to check it out along with the CH garden.

Although I prefer the Japanese Garden because of it structure and clarity, this wonderful piece of landscape architecture symbolizes the path of life. Not all parts of the garden are visible to the inspector's eye from any given location on the way trough it. Only at the end of the path you're climbing up a little hill where you find a pagoda from which you can see the whole park. A wonderful metaphor for the end of the life, when one looks back to all of the experiences and achievements of a fulfilled lifetime. Try visiting the park with the before mentioned in mind, you'll have an exceptional approach to the architect's intention.

Perfect place for walk and more perfect place to experience the Zen of the park. It has amased me how wonderful it is, tough I was there in winter. I can't wait to see all of the plants in the park to be awaken. There will be another world, another experience. Take your family, take your blankets and enjoy the peacefulness ond admire what mankind has created.

We came just when the garden was about to close but the keeper let us enter for a short look. Its s beautiful place, wish there would be Koy fish in the water or/and turtles.

A very different garden compared to others. Rose garden, Chinese and Japanese garden and a Nepalese pagoda. A barbeque area too. There was a Biergarten but was shut when we went. Didn't see any other commercial spot or eatery though. Peaceful and not crowded. A small lake too. Was worth a visit to just chill out .
