Marienklause

Tourist attraction Place of worship

👍👍 Hidden in the forest almost next to the flat, the chapel is a place of peace. 100m further on the world looks completely different again. Since it is so hidden, it is quite unknown even to some people in Munich. So it's really worth a visit 😉 People often mention Isar, chapel,

Small chapel that also functions as a place of power. Worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) During a walk on the Isar, a visit to the Marienklause is worthwhile. Beginning with the Way of the Cross, the path leads in the midst of wooded green to the chapel and a source of energizing water. Overall, the place looks mystical and is a place of calm in the hectic hustle and bustle on the Isar.

If you don't know what to see in Munchen yet, there are benches where you can rest in the shade and pray for the dead :)

This small chapel is very peaceful. I enjoy stopping here to relax during a run, or walk in the area. I'd reccomend it to anyone going by.

The wooden chapel, built by Martin Achleitner in 1865/66, is worth a visit. It is small but very pretty and at its feet there is the spring grotto whose waters were formerly said to be healing. Tip: if you want to see what is in the chapel or the grotto, bring a flashlight because it is so dark that you can't see anything.

Von allen Klausen, die ich bisher besucht habe, war das die Beste. Eine absolute Empfehlung besonders für Linkshänder. (Translated by Google) Of all the Klausen I have visited so far, this was the best. An absolute recommendation especially for left-handers.

Jakobsbrunn, Marienklause Isar Munich. A shady, cool place for hot summer days. Located south of the zoo on a hillside. This place is contemplative and mystical. Here you have a little peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the Isar party. There is a stone altar, a Stations of the Cross, two small, decorated grottos in which, like in the hermitage building, candles are always burning. The Jakobsbrunn spring is signposted as not drinking water.
