👍👍 Lovely African restaurant located in Feltham. I ordered goat curry, the meat was very tender, juicy and succulent, came right of the bone. The pounded yam was very good and egusi stew. My jollof was a bit bland and the "jerk" chicken was not real jerk; just some sauce on it. The plaintains were not the softest either. The cole slaw was amazing. The one staff member there was nice but I cant believe that there is only one staff member at the restaurant of a Saturday night... like wth!?!? So service took some time. She had to take, place and cook our orders. The decor left much to be desired; some artwork here and there but there were bits and bobs near the back that could be seen. We had palm wine; it was an okay attempt at it. It was cool to see that it could be bottled like that but it only had 1% etol. Maybe due to the rain but id love to see and eat at the place when its busier.

As a Nigerian, I thought it would be nice to try some of our cuisine in a part of London where the choices are limited. I ordered Jollof rice with mixed meat, moi moi and edikang ikong with Pounded yam. The jollof was OK at best not really tasty, the mixed meat had 3 small pieces that did not justify the price. The two portions of moi moi were both burnt and I tried to salvage some but they were devoid of flavour. The Edikang ikong was essentially made with spinach instead of pumpkin leaves and was essentially tasteless; similarly, the three small pieces of 'mixed meat' did not justify the prices charged. All in all, I will continue to drive for miles to North London for good Nigerian food and leave this place well alone. Would also recommend that anyone used to Nigerian food avoids this experience.

We ordered fried plantain, oxtail stew with rice and kidney beans, and jollof rice with assorted meat. By far the Oxtail stew was the best! The meat just falls off the bone and there’s so much flavour but we didn’t get enough stew. The beef tripe was also quite chewy and difficult to eat which would’ve been better if it was cut into pieces. There was another piece of meat… we didn’t know how to eat it as there wasn’t any meat on it. Overall we had a lovely experience and would come here to try a new dish.

The place is nice and there is a family atmosphere We had Pepe soup, Jollof Rice and fried Yam, all really good! Prices are reasonable and the amount of food is good. We decided for four stars just because of noisy guests (there was the football match in tv). Definitely to try!!

A bijoux African eatery with freshly cooked food, this means you need to wait a little while before you are served your meal. Staff friendly and nice 👌🏾 👍🏾 Overall 3.5 rating for me, as there is room for improvement.

Quality of the food is top notch. But this is expected when they cook from scratch. Expect to wait for food to be prepared. Not fast food but great food

Food was not as nice and and as authentic as I have hoped, also the portion sizes are small for the price paid for them, did not enjoy at all.

I made a large order on Saturday 17th. I have to admit the wait was long but the order was really big. The food was excellent! In fact, today I am still dreaming of the Assorted Okra and Pounded Yam along with the rest we ordered. The taste of the food is 5 stars from me. Better than Enish and many other Nigerian food places. My one wish is that the portion is larger and the cost is more economical. P.s You may wait a while but the food is worth every minute. Mama can really cook and I will be back soon...

The food was ok but expensive for the amount given, goat curry portion was mostly large bones and very little meat! Jerk chicken was also a let down not very jerk tasting at all…. The wait was over 1 hour when originally told it would be 30 minutes.

I was at mama Cook the very night and day I arrived in the UK. What a cozy and hygienic restaurant. The Ise Ewu I ate there still lingers in my memory coupled with the subsequent dishes like Egusi, Efo Riro or Vegetable Soup and Pounded Yam. Not to talk of the Fried Rice/Dodo with the spicy Stew, OMG!!!. What a wonderful experience one should have.

The foods are great but the oils in the stews, jolof rice and the fried fish are just too much. Please.
