Food was fresh and tasted great. Wonderful first experience. Definitely recommend.

This is a nice little family restaurant. The interior is clean and tastefully decorated with comfortable booths and unique artwork. Though it was busy, there were plenty of available seats. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food served with almost no wait. I had the enchiladas verde with well-seasoned rice and beans. Their refried beans are made with a special red pepper paste made in-house. Everything tasted great, and the staff are polite and friendly.

the meal tasted really good, however, my body reaction after eating was not good. I did experience bad bloating, pain and cramping. it is my opinion that inferior ingredients were used. I will not be going back.

The food was exquisite. My husband and I have not had good Mexican food in a long time. He absolutely fell in love with the Barbacoa tacos and enchiladas. I loved my Chile relleno a recommendation from the lady who helped us today. The staff were really friendly and informative. The inside gives off a really homey feeling. 100/10 recommend this place!

One of my favorite Mexican food restaurants. I eat here at least once a week and I'm never disappointed. I have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and always enjoyed the food.

Excellent food. I will definitely go back. Service wasn't horrible at all, but could use a bit more effort. Seemed like a new server getting use to the job. Still did well... Have been back several times, and this is my new favorite Mexican Restaurant in the Gatesville area. Service is great! Food is great!

I didn’t think I liked refried beans until I had theres! So yummy! 🤤 I always get it on the side so I can enjoy . ☺️ I typically get the breakfast burritos which are aways on point and the steak burrito when I need a lunch. Nothing fancy but always on point. I’ve only ate inside once or twice due to this being my treat when I don’t feel like eating my meal prep. They have definitely upgraded inside since the last time I ate inside which looks nice but more cramped. I work at one of the local prisons and stay at the barracks in town. This spot is definitely my go to for Mexican when I’m in there.

The service was excellent. Food not so much. Tbone steak was maybe an eighth of an inch thick. Like almost paper thin. Marinara sauce was on the mushroom enchiladas. The cheese enchiladas were okay except someone needs to teach them how to make the sauce. It did not have a good flavor. Overall, we were disappointed in the food.

To Go Orders should have more salsa and tortillas Good food!

I came to the drive through which is a large screen so I thought it was shut down, I park in their tiny parking lot with my car noticing trucks have difficulties fitting in the spaces. I ordered a beef fajita burrito for the cash price of 5.95, unsure of the credit/debit price which seemed a little high to me. I get the burrito to go after about 20 minutes of waiting and it's skinny, double wrapped in foil. When I bite into the burrito it tastes a little funny, meat is dry. I look and half the meat is burned, the beans they spoke of were only in the bottom inch of the burrito. The tortilla was very flaky as well, seems like they have some quality issues in the kitchen. For the price there are much better options out there, and I've had better food at McDonald's sadly, I'm disappointed in myself for trying them instead of El Tapatio or Rodeo. The reason I don't give a 1 is because it was not good but still edible and the burrito was wrapped nice and tight.

My Flauta dinner was very good but I didn't like the chips at all. Chips tasted like bad store bought. Salsa was pretty good. Sweet tea was very sweet. Table service was great!

Would not recommend to anyone that has been to an authentic Mexican restaurant. My group of 4 ppl ordered food and were all disappointed. Meat was over cooked burnt/chewing on rubber. They were very stingy with rice portions and pico and guacamole. I feel robbed and did not enjoy the food

Food used to be good when it first opened. Now it's becoming a joke. Their "hot sauce" is just a tomato base with some greenstuff in it. I asked for 2 breakfast tacos, chorizo, bacon, egg, and cheese. I got eggs mixed with the smallest amount of chorizo, a little bit of cheese with a stripe of bacon on top, and it wasn't even mixed together. I asked for a hashbrown patty, and it was so bad after one bite from all the grease that I couldn't even eat it. Their coffee was lukewarm and so watered down it barely tasted like coffee. My boyfriend had to ask for hot sauce and the tortillas (that come with the meal) because the waitress didn't pay attention. There were 2 other people in the restaurant at the time we came in. I think it's safe to say that this will be another place I stop going to.

3 tacos 1 drink $11+. Tacos were okay. They have regular sized flour tortillas but a small amount of filling. Wasn't very fresh tasting- got them around 10ish.
