Great food (seriously, I'm usually reluctant to try new burgers but the "black label" one was juicy and tasty). We were a large group, and the staff was super friendly and patient. Cocktails looked so pretty.

Make sure to call ahead and make reservations! We missed out Saturday night but landed an early Sunday dinner. It was worth the wait and every penny! The food was phenomenal and our server Samuel was very nice. Had some great recommendations and even had the chef make some accommodations (no mushrooms). Leaving with milkshakes to go - what a great little spot!

Great modern diner - family owned and locally sourced/supported food. Overpriced $$$+ to be expected in downtown Montreal, however food portions and taste was not mind blowing. Drink menu was great! Fun cocktails that tasted delicious. Seating was mostly booths and comfortable. They have tables/chairs upstairs. Server was fun and personable knew the menu well.

The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is the first star for the place decoration which is very nice and the other one for the service more specifically for the waiter Jay Z who was very nice and professional with the service. The place is overpriced and not worth it at all, I ordered steak sandwich which was barely done that I couldn’t chew it or even cut it with my teeth! Which is annoying considering the price I paid! Drinks are not bad but still pricey. not recommended

Had an amazing experience at the charming diner/bar downtown. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. The food great, and the attentive and friendly staff made the service top-notch, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. But what truly stole the show was the St-Germain Spritz, a delightful and refreshing cocktail that quickly became my new favorite.

Loved the vibe and our waitress. Very big menu with tons of tempting options. I'm really sad I chose the "bad girl pasta" because it was SUPER bland (menu made it sound like it would be spicy). Also every bite I took of scallop/muscles was crunchy with sand. Wish I could go back and order something different to give it a second try!

The inside of the restaurant is very eye catching. Giving me Riverdale nightclub diner vibes I ordered the following dishes Mac & Cheese Wontons - absolutely amazing. The noodles inside were cooked perfectly, cheesy and the wrapper was crispy and thin. Lobster Roll w fries - not my favourite. The brioche bun was a little stale and the lobster itself was a bit chewy. The fries were shoe string fries and they were perfectly fried. R-rated Cookie Monster Shake - Fantastic! Minimal alcohol flavour. Cookie dough chunks add needed texture…delicious! Service was outstanding. Gave amazing recommendation based on allergies and very quick to provide service.

The service was outstanding, our waiter named Sam took great care of us. He gave us suggestions which turned up to be amazing. The fat cat burger, calamari rings and pain perdu are some of the many must tries. The food was delicious and the presentation was top-notch. Also I’ve heard that they are about to have new items on the menu can’t wait to try them out.

Absolutely loved this place! So glad we stopped by on our trip to Montreal. The first day we went for just drinks during the Stanley cup finals and we saw so many yummy food being served we decided to make reservations the next day for dinner. We were only in Montreal for 3 days but we had to go back to try the food. The drinks on the first day was great and our server offered great suggestions based on our preference. The next day, for dinner, we ordered the Cobb salad which was very very tasty, the tuna taco and my favs, the lobster pasta. Omg that was sooooo good. I shared the pasta with my boyfriend and we were both super full. The manager and server from the night before recognized us and came said HI which I thought was very nice. Definitely coming back and recommending this place! Oh and the decor is very cute, it’s like a glam diner!!

Great atmosphere & service! Was here yesterday for our relationship anniversary. The Ahi Taco Tuna is the best! Kitty Kat milkshake was good too, was our first time trying out alcohol milkshake, it went better than expectation. The lobster sandwich & American burger tastes a bit plain, but the fries are pretty good. In general a good experience, will come back to try other stuff.

We went to Montreal for a weekend trip and found Deville Dinerbar while walking to find a restaurant to eat at. Great selection for their dinner menu and they also have a great cocktail menu. We ordered some burgers, mac and cheese, chicken with fries, the hanger steak and of course a strawberry milkshake and some cocktails. We also couldn’t pass up trying their famous beignets. We were so impressed by the service and food we went back again for dinner but were so disappointed they were closed on Sunday. Our server was so friendly and amazing! My family still talks about Deville Dinerbar and look forward to when we can come back to Montreal to eat here again!

I went to Deville before my concert. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We started with our cocktails, I had the maverick and my cousin had the peach Bellini cocktail. Both were delicious. For dinner, we didn’t have any appetizers. we ordered the lobster roll with fries. The plate was small with only 1 lobster roll but it was really filled with lobster and it was good but not sure I would pay $35 again for it. The fries were amazing. We were going to order each a dessert but our waitress said that they were big and 1 was enough to share. She was right. We ordered the donuts with caramel sauce. They are big and many inside, I would say about 6. They were so good and warm too.

Our waitress, Nada, was awesome. Very attentive, helpful with the menu, and even gave us tips of what to do in the city on our stay. The food was really good, American style large portions (we couldn’t finish). The Cajun salmon, short rib mac and Caesar salad were all just right.

Jana is a really excellent host and made sure we have everything we needed throughout our dinner. The food is amazing and the appetizer was just perfect! We had the Mac and cheese wonton and the Roscoe chicken and waffle was delicious!

We had dinner at Deville before the Madonna concert! Our waitress was Nada. She was absolutely amazing! So personable, friendly, fun and professional The food was excellent from the appetizers, mains, drinks and dessert! We had an amazing time. Everything was 10 on 10. Wonderful evening. Nada is an excellent waitress. From the beginning to end everything was top notch! Thank you Deville.

Went there with my friend for a dinner. I was told that they have good fries and we were craving for burgers. Turns out to be a very good experience. The restaurant is cute and the food is actually delicious!! Vanessa is so helpful with her ideas for drink and food, we were enjoying it sooo much. She is so sweet and recommend the good stuff. We had a great time over there. Surely we will be coming back

This place is fancy which is so rare! The food and drinks are good (be ready to eat huge portion). The best thing for me is the interior- I love this vine storage which I show on the video. Perfect for a company where people like to take pictures and videos) And I would love to visit this diner bar on a regular basis so 100% recommendation!

Fun spot with kind of a sporadic menu but lots of options. The lobster roll was delicious and we also really enjoyed the meatloaf. Prices are a little high but the portions were generous. 4 stars because the service was pretty slow, they were clearly understaffed. A good option downtown Montreal.

It was a happy accident that we discovered this place! After deciding to just try it out while waking by — we were very impressed. A really cool/modern take on the 50s diner theme — the atmosphere and staff were fun and fantastic. The menu had lots to offer and we loved what we ordered. It was hard to choose what to eat — it all sounded so good. All in all, this is a great stop for burgers and milkshakes.

Used to be one of my favorite places before Covid, but something changed. Came here with colleagues for lunch and literally had to wait 40 minutes to get the dishes. So out of 1 hour lunch, 15 min to eat to quickly back to work. I am sure they must have knowledge of people coming with limited time frame during lunch and yet so slow. Ordered Club Sandwich. Was pretty dry and a bit tasteless. Either forgot to put sauce or it is always like that. Colleagues liked their meals though. Overall did not enjoy the latest experience. Hopefully next I come, it will be different.

First time to Deville and I have to say the ambiance was great. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The food came out promptly and nice and hot which is always appreciated. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that although they offer a veggie option for burgers, most have far too many meat elements that make the order far from vegetarian friendly. Although I do appreciate the effort. ***very LGBTQ friendly

I really cannot praise this place enough. I first discovered it many years ago and it is always my first supper in Montreal spot when I return ALWAYS the best food, the best service, fun ambience. The cocktails are fun and creative. The food though, my gosh. Such a fun twist on American classics. Probably good I don't live in Quebec or I'd weigh a lot more bcuz of this place 😅

Most of the restaurants in Montreal close before 10pm, and we’re looking for the place to eat around 11pm, but we’re so happy to find this place!! Staff are all friendly and helpful, and actually we’re surprised that food qualities are also great! Meat in Truffle pasta was well cooked, soft and tasty and burger was tasty too. Even around 11pm you have lots of options to eat. You can enjoy the atmosphere and music too. Looks like tourist place but actually good for locals too. I highly recommend this place!

Pretty big place with nice decor & tables. Was surprised by the very fast service. The service itself was amazing as well. Varied menu, something for everyone. Had the calamari entrance and they were delicious. My carbonara was very good as well.

Ahi tuna tacos so recommended! Southern fried chicken salad, huge portion and very tasty sauce. Cajun salmon, comes with the best rice i ever had, the pobano rice is just so good you must try. La porchetta burger for roasted meat and onion marmalade lovers. Dinerbar club if you like chicken, very good portion. Texas toast steak sandwich, very good simply. Roscoe’s house of chicken and waffle, chicken is tasty but not the kind of combination that satisfies you. Pain perdu was kinda overfried so it was disappointing it wasn’t tender on the inside, also too much cinnamon. One cocktail certainly recommend is MIAMI VICE ! They have very nice cocktails we saw that when we were first seated at the bar, short story here: Visited without reservation in a group of 6. We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks while trying to find a table, one of the hostesses was insisting that we can’t get a table even after another table left when we asked to get it for us she still said “No surely its reserved” as if she didn’t even want to try and find us a table. No problem it’s our first time. While waiting for food we were trying with the manager and waitresses, until the hostess approached us saying there will be a table available in a bit. So we got our drinks transported and finally had our seats on a table. I totally understand since we came walk in, but the feeling that the waitress didn’t even want to try and find us a table, as if she didn’t like us I mean at least that’s what she showed. She looked to have a managerial role as well, she wasn’t in black uniform like others. Overall totally worth every penny if you plan your visit and call for reservation beforehand. Your first look at the menu might make you think its overpriced, but once you get the food and the good service at the table you understand its totally worth it.

The service here is really hospitable. All the staff were nice. However, I have to say the fried chicken waffles were not as good as I excepted. The chicken was very dry and not warm at all. I barely ate it. Poutine sauce was way too salty, but the fries was good. I probably wouldn’t come back since I can get decent and warm food with this price at another place.

Amazing food and even better customer service 11/10. Our server Kevin made sure our experience was nothing but the BEST. I would highly recommend coming here. Menu options were endless, cocktails were perfect and the vibe, atmosphere and decor were all perfect.

Deville Slay😭 Begging you don't miss on their shakes🍒. Every now and then I come to try their food, they got so much options. I love the typical diner type of meal they serve but elevated. Also their regular shakes are good but their alcoholic shakes are better 😈 The waiters and waitresses are always sweet, clean and not overbearing. Last time I ate there I think I had the Texas steak sandwich which is basically like a nastier version of a club sandwich. And their deville burger. Highly recommend. Today I had a simple vanilla shake, definitely one the best I've tasted. Also very random but they're all in pink so: Barbie Slay 💗

Great ambience mixing retro with modernity. Fast service, food is distinguished quality, and choice is tailored to the vibes of the restaurant. The presentation is excellent. Fries were not salty, which is a bonus for me. I had the burger Black label, which feels premium, and it is.

A bougie take on diner food with American portions. The portions are bigger than usual which was great. Good was great and tasty. Everything was really good, juicy and just melts in your mouth. The fried chicken kimchi burger was very unique and tasty. The kimchi wasn't overpowering and didn't take away from the burger. Fat cat burger was excellent. Dessert tasted great (layered chocolate cake and double baked chocolate pudding). Service was incredible. The lovely Jana took care of us that evening and did an amazing job. She made sure we had everything we need and checked in as needed. She gave us enough time to settle between courses and served the food at a good pace. I have to say Jana did a great job maintaining her section and make sure she was on top of everything. Goes without saying she was very nice, friendly and respectful.

Nada at Deville was the most amazing server ever! Not only did she make sure our food was perfect, but recommended a great bagel place for me and my boss to visit tomorrow morning before heading back to Toronto. The food here is exceptional however the portions are huge. Cocktails are a bit expensive which is why I can't give this place a perfect score. $19 dollars for one drink is a bit too highly priced. The atmosphere is a 10 out of 10. If you're looking for an upbeat place with great atmosphere, service and good music, this is the stop for you in Montreal!

Great atmosphere, good service and delicious food. This place was definitely packed on a Saturday night! A love DJ was a nice touch, with the music being just the right level that it wasn’t overwhelming but was a nice addition to our experience. I’d definitely recommend the French Dip, Cast Iron Cajun Salmon and the Neptune Ahi Tuna Salad.

The General Tao salad was so fresh and the portion was quite big! The Prime Rib Dip was very tasty.. the only downside was that it is messy to eat! Really enjoyed our experience. Staff was very nice! Would definitely go again!

This place is loud & boisterous and feels hip. Yet the noise isn't offensive. The food prices are what you expect in downtown Montreal, the taste was excellent and the portions were actually manageable. It was our second time here & we even saw the waiter who served us last year - our time then was so positive we came back. The drinks were slow to come and without even having to say a word, the manager had the last one comped for us. Rowen was a delight, management was awesome and we want to come back to Montreal with friends just to eat here. My one suggestion: whatever you do, leave room for dessert!! You will be sad if you skip it!!

Great service, great food with very generous portions and fun atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place and will be back. Very popular among young adults on Saturday. I had the Southern fried chicken salad and my friend had the Adam’s famous beef ribs both excellent. Would have liked to have the Short ribs mac & cheese skillet but at 52$ a pop, thought it was overpriced. Great restaurant!

Loved everything I tried here. Oysters supper delicious, calamari so freshly made it melts I was your mouth. Steak was well seasoned and the bad girl pasta I couldn't stop eating it. Their drinks were soooooo good. I tried the cappuccino martini and French mule which is henney based.... So good. I would definitely visit again.

Ambiance is so cool but seemed a bit over priced menu. The chicken & waffles were delicious and the pretty in pink cocktail. Not very busy around 3pm on a week day and there’s a nice patio outside. The staff were attentive and service was fine.

We’ve been a handful of times now. Service is amazing, food is consistently and reliably high quality, but it is on the more expensive side. Awesome place for a date or to go with friends. Drinks are super fun and the ambience is too. I highly recommend Deville!

Always a great experience at Deville Dinerbar. Always great customer service and friendly staff. Their appetizers, burgers and main courses are delicious! Always want to try a new meal every time I return back to Deville. Their cocktails are also delicious. You will never be disappointed no matter what you order at Deville. Great ambiance too!

It was a great choice to come to this place. Best Restaurant in Montreal that we’ve been to so far. Outstanding service, the food was amazing I got screaming Korean chicken and my husband got an American steak ( the doneness of the steak was perfect). The atmosphere and decoration are on point. I highly recommend it!

There's absolutely nothing that I've eaten here that isn't phenomenal. I always start with the coconut bartered onion rings not only are they huge but they come with a root beer dipping sauce that's to die for. I followed up with a burger that had a bone marrow mayo and candied bacon. My girl got the macho salad and the croutons are made of corn bread. We were excited to be eating indoors again and got some Mac and cheese and lobster pogos too.
