Absolutely the WORST service. I took my car in at 8:37am and was told I was 2nd in line so about 2 hours...OVER 7 hours later they never actually had the part they needed butbnever called me. And it still wasn't ready. When I complained to customer service they said "Providing your feedback about your personal experience directly to the store will help them understand where they can make improvements." Which means they'll do nothing. Don't take your car here

Like that's messed. The general manager KYLE seems like he knows what he's doing and is very friendly and is willing to fix the problem I give him 5 stars but the overall a 1 maybe when the problem is fixed I'll re rate but very disturbing to me that the manager at the store literally said it's as is when someone clearly made a mistake at the store. Than a customer told me they were talking behind my back in front of customers.

Same exact product and a different location down the road in Ottawa has this product for $300 less. Huge chunk of change when all the stores have it on clearance. An associate at the other store sent me to this location because they had one and neglected to tell me the price was boosted here. I bought it because I really was looking for this model and the other store that would have it is in Kingston. The staff here refused to price match their other location and just said “do you want it or not?” Did not feel valued as a customer at this store and company. I’ve now heard every excuse in the book from this sad company about how they don’t price match other CT locations or the product has to be in stock to be price matched, etc.It makes no sense and when I called customer service and said I wouldn’t pick up the item after paying for it they basically let me know that they “hope that means I get a refund” but not guaranteed. In what world does CanadianTire think it’s ok to keep a customers money for zero product? This company is awful and this store was just the beginning of that.

I had the pleasure meeting Mr. Ali at Auto Parts Department. Ali welcomed me into the store and helped me order the bug deflector for my car. He was courteous, polite and professional. Keep up the good work!

My experience relates to the garden center. Specifically it is very difficult to find with no signage at the main entrance or in the parking lot directing you to the garden center, which is located behind the store. I had to park, go into the store to get directions and was told I to exit the parking lot, drive towards the adjacent Esso gas station and then down a not very public street to find. Signage would be a good idea

Classic CT. Lots in stock. My only issue is that you need to walk alot in a snake like hallway to reach the checkout aisle, and not enough checkout staff on deck. Self checkout available though.

***UPDATE***** Thank you for the quick response. I did as you suggested and called your customer care line, twice. The first time I waited 8 minutes, and when I finally spoke with someone, I was disconnected. When I called back and explained the situation,I was told that inventories are not updated in real time and that’s just the way it is, sorry. So, my next question is why do you tell me to call your customer care line when there is nothing they can do? Not impressed with Canadian Tire or their excuses. (And inventories online still show 3 items in stock). ***Original Post**** Very disappointed. The website shows an item is in stock, so I place an order. I get an email the next day saying my order has been cancelled because they have no stock. I look in the website and it still shows 3 in stock. What is the point of showing inventory levels if they aren’t accurate, or if you cannot find the product?

I was using my rachet straps for the first time, i entangled them very very bad. These two guys here worked out of the box for an hour and helped me through it. They are super sweet and also performed the task which is not even their part of responsibility. Loved customer service at MOTOMASTER help desk with Jay. You are the best JAY.

Don't order online with that store. It takes forever to get your order and when you call them to inquire about it, they don't listen to you and rush you through to another associate, to another associate.... It feels like you are bothering them. P.S. Don't reply to this feedback by telling me to call you to discuss further, because I don't want to lose my time either. I just want my online order as soon as possible.

This place sucks! We were being followed by an employee who then came up to me and said 'hi" . Very weird. He then approached my wife and told her she is supposed to leave her purse at the front courtesy counter. I don't get. My wife has her phone and wallet in there and needs it to purchase items from the store. And she needs her reading glasses to look at store items. Also, she needs her phone in case I call her from the other side of the store. This employee really made us feel uncomfortable. Stay away from this place! Nasty people!

I’ve been servicing my vehicles here for 10 years and they’ve been pretty solid. But this last time there was absolutely terrible communication. I was told the work would be a day, which turned into 4 days only after I finally got a hold of someone late in the evening. I had to cancel some jobs and rent a car for those days due to them not knowing upfront. After 3 days they called me and said they actually couldn’t get the part that was needed anyway. Tremendous waste of time and money for me. I’ve liked their service in the past but unfortunately I won’t be coming back.

I wouldn’t even give this canadian tire location a 1 star. I went in to get 2 bar stools for Christmas gifts. Walked around the store 4 times only to finally find someone 30 minutes later to ask where the stools were on the floor . Apparently they were “up in the warehouse upstairs”. So I wait another 10-15 minutes and the lady says “oh they can’t find them” and walks away. Doesn’t apologize. Doesn’t say or do anything but rudely walk away from me. As someone who works in management in retail, this type of customer service was horrible and I will never return there again.

Heron Road. Amazing customer assistance this morning on exchanging a flat box microwave stand with wrong parts. Natalie at customer service was phenomenal. Professional, knowledgeable, caring, friendly and super helpful. Harry helped me get the defective unit out of my car and the new unit into my car. Friendly and professional. Thank you for an easy exchange and incredible service.

This is my local Canadian Tire and I really wish it wasn’t. Unwelcoming doesn’t begin to describe the atmosphere of the store. I reluctantly have used it for curbside pickup orders so as to not have to go into the store. Orders promised to be ready for pickup same day are unfortunately never realized. If you need to go into the store I would suggest driving to Findley Creek or Merivale instead.

I wrote a great review a couple of years ago. Been going here since 2016-ish. The level of service and professionalism was great. Since then, the management at the service dept has changed now CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED LIKE IDIOTS & IRRITANTS. Truly shocking 😲

Canadian Tire has long been my trusted one-stop destination for an array of products ranging from automotive, home goods, sports equipment, to outdoor essentials. Their wide selection, competitive pricing, and top-notch customer service have consistently exceeded my expectations. The product range at Canadian Tire is remarkable. Whether I need gardening tools, kitchen appliances, or camping gear, I always find what I'm looking for. I appreciate the variety of brands they carry, allowing for a range of options to suit different preferences and budgets. Their automotive section is particularly impressive. From car parts and accessories to auto service needs, Canadian Tire provides comprehensive solutions for vehicle owners. I've also found their staff to be extremely knowledgeable in this department, always willing to offer sound advice and guidance. Navigating the store is straightforward, thanks to the logical layout and clear signage. This, along with the store's cleanliness and well-stocked shelves, makes shopping at Canadian Tire a pleasant experience. Customer service is another area where Canadian Tire excels. The staff are friendly, approachable, and eager to assist. Whether it's helping find a product, providing additional product information, or handling returns, they always deliver exceptional service. Canadian Tire's pricing is competitive, and they frequently have sales and promotions that offer great value for money. The Canadian Tire Money loyalty program is also a nice bonus, providing additional savings on future purchases. The convenience of Canadian Tire is hard to beat. With extensive operating hours and locations across the country, it's easy to shop there when and where it suits me. The option for online shopping with in-store pickup or home delivery adds another layer of convenience.

They have one of the best return policies. They never give me trouble and staff is always so nice. Only reason I did not give a 5 star is because curbside pickup takes way too long. Last time I waited 30 minutes (only one person ahead of me) and nobody came outside so I went in to pick up instead.

Auto centre and its employees are fantastic! Quick response over the phone, exceptional service and great prices! I came as a walk-in and was out of there with a set of new tires in no time. 10/10!

The staffs there were so nice, especially the ones in auto service dept. I switched my four-season tires to winter tires there. They worked effectively and let me pick up my car in the same day in such a peak time of changing tires. The other products were good and with great discounts when I visit there. Bought my first coffee maker today there. Love 💖 this place!

I arrived at this Canadian Tire in need of help with a situation that was far beyond anyone's job description to even assist me with. Despite this, Dylan was eager to help me, and called the manager Natalie, who to my amazement, immediately helped me out of my bind, and treated me absolutely wonderfully in the process. Thank you both of you for giving me the best experience I have ever had at a Canadian Tire.

3 screw-ups in 5 visits. Won't ever go back. 1. Unable to put my 2010 civic's hubcaps back on when getting a tire change - made a big deal about them being warped...? I got them back on in 30 seconds in their parking lot 2. Lost my windshield washer fluid cap. Denied it. Didn't replace. 3. In for tire change - told 2-3 hours. 4 hours later, car is still in lot. Zero customer service except for one decent employee who expressed regret when I asked for the keys back and left. And trust me, that's not a waiting room you want to spend more than a minute in...ever.

Very bad experience with customer service while I was trying to buy something expensive at this store, while I was asking more information for instalment payment the girl press the butt to process the payment without confirm with me if I wanted or not, that something should never happen, she shouldn’t work in customer service if she is that rude, maybe stocking in the back of the store would be more suitable to her. I could have paid it in 24 months now I felt forced to pay it in one, never buy there again, Amazon still the best.

I bought a product with a damaged box, realised the product was used when I got home, I was back at the store to return it 15 mins later and the manager accused me of using it myself. It was $20 and I didn’t care but that’s not how you treat customers. That’s the last time I buy anything from here.

Terrible customer service. Bought a vacuum used it for five minutes and it was aweful. They refused to refund or store credit claiming it was exchange only and that there were signs everywhere in the vacuum Isle stating that. I went and checked and there were none. They told me I should have read their return policy on their website prior to purchasing. They had nasty tones and didn't want to help the customer or even try and acknowledge my situation. You could tell they were happy to get me out the door unhappy. I had the receipt and brought the product back within two hours of purchase. I won't be returning to Canadian Tire at this point for anything. My previous experience with Canadian Tire was trying to review a product on their website. It was declined 4 times before I gave up because it wasn't a positive review.

Low stock not alot of staff to help. But it's Canadian Tire. You get what you go there. Prices aren't always cheaper

It's a great store, with excellent prices and inventory! Staff is also very friendly! However the aisles do feel a little tighter than other retail stores, so it can be a little challenging to get through others.

Great experience, my only comment would be that when I went in-store to pick up my online order, the employees were chatting with each other rather than helping me with my order.

Very friendly and helpful staff. You can tell there is a nice working environment and that reflects in the customer service. Management is doing it right. Service department is great. Starting from the manager to the last staff. Very knowledgeable and fast ( they do drop ins) I took my car and they did a great job. Explained everything and took an honest approach. I will definitely come back.

It’s seems like that I’m not the first one who encountered a racist who told you to left backpack in the front counter. It’s funny that he’s also a colored man. So I asked if that is compulsory just because his commanding tone is quite obviously uncomfortable. And he repeated it’s ‘the new policy’. So I just said OK I’ll leave than he begins to follow me around and I found there’s at least another 3 costumers who kept the backpack passed us. Than he indicate me to go out through the counter. I told him I’m just waiting for my rims. Than I canceled the order at the garage. I won't buy anything here as possible until Canada Tire posses an advanced employee’s culture system.

The Canadian Tire on Heron Road and Bank is a well established franchise store. The shelves have lots of stock, maybe too much as the isles feel cramped with stock piled to maximum amounts. I do like looking around to see what special and unique items they have in their tools section and have to admit that I like the smell of new tires. I mostly go to Canadian Tire for their Mastercraft tools and garage stuff. They also carry garden and fishing supplies, which is handy for camping and road trips. If you like my reviews, videos or photos why not roll up a thumbs up.

Girl working at the key cutting desk had her pager on silent so it took her 10 minutes to arrive to her own department in a smaller size CT. She then took 15 minutes painfully searching for the same size key as she kept looking back at us and the other customers in line. Not sure if she was having a bad day or was stoned however she then told us she was unable to copy our key which has been done before… several times. skip this location for your key 🔑 needs. More training required CT.

In this day and age, when we are encouraged to bike or walk and, to use recyclable bags, why is it that this location requires customers to leave their backpack at the desk? I will not leave my backpack at the desk as it includes my keys, my wallet, my sunglasses amongst other personal items. Sorry Canadian Tire, I will walk/bike by your store to continue on with my shopping experience at Home depot.

This is a great store. I suspect it gets a bad reputation just cause of its location - but honestly - I go to this location always now. I had been looking everywhere for a few items. Could not find them anywhere. Stopped into this Canadian tire and they had everything I needed. Lots of great clearance items too. They have so much great stock that I find myself stopping in there now just to roam around to see what I might find. Staff is always very friendly too and the store is clean.

  • 5/5 Eric H. 1 year ago on Google
Always has stock when the bigger ones are low or out of stock. This location feels more like the good old days of CT of a community feel store. Staff are always helpful and don't make you feel like a number.
