Great location and the hospitality was just awesome. Rooms are spacious and have a nice view to the main market street and the green gate. Will definitely stay here again 😍

Very good location in the old town of Gdańsk. Can be a bit noisy because of its central location. Pet friendly

Short break with family of 4. Fantastic hotel , location is brilliant for all restaurants, walking tours and main sites. Would be my 1st choice hotel for any future stay. Clean rooms, good bathrooms and a perfect bar/ restaurant attached

Great location in the heart of the city with nice friendly staff, we didn't have problems with noise but stayed midweek. Room was OK, booked a double but was 2 single beds pushed together with 2 separate duvets so not ideal or what was expected. Left the please make up room sign on the door and room wasn't attended too meaning we had to go and find extra toilet paper and coffee from reception not a huge problem but annoying. Didn't realise there was a coffee machine for using downstairs until late in the stay would have been nice to be told when checking in etc.

Very flexible staff and the breakfast was top-notch - a great range of options for all European tastes. Although the rooms are a bit small, the location was fantastic!

I had a very pleasant experience at the hotel fama residence during my recent visit to Gdansk. The hotel is in a fantastic central location for visiting the city. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Very good value and a great place to stay when visiting. The breakfast is also great. Sebastian on the check-in desk was most helpful and gave us lots of great recommendations of things to do and see whilst staying in Gdansk. Will certainly be back. Photo shows my lovely view from the hotel room.

Location is perfect. At night, a bit noisy but with the ear plug that provided by the hotel. Very considerate. Breakfast is 👍🏻

On the left after passing through the beautiful gate to the old town. It’s like a journey travelling back in time. More surprising is you will be living in one of those fancy old house. Interior is cozy. It’s definitely one of the best value for money choice in town.

Excellent room, fantastic location. Central to all the tourist spots. Just very noisy at night. Busy streets outside with people leaving clubs and restaurants till 3 in the morning. Then early morning deliveries start at 06:30. There may be quieter rooms.

We visited Gdansk for 4 days on a short city break and this place was absolutely fantastic, it is right in the centre of the old town with everything in walking distance including the Christmas market, the room was spacious for us and plenty warm. The reception staff were all lovely and courteous. Unfortunately we didn't try the restaurant this time but it did look amazing, definitely a try for next time! Would 100% recommend Fama Residence to anyone looking to stay in the old town!.

What a great hotel in a superb location in the old town. The old town is on your doorstep. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and clean - we couldn't fault it. We'd happily return here again.

Breakfast is wast and amazing! Rooms are small, warm, and almost quiet at low season now (Dluga Street goes to sleep at midnight now). The rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. The bathroom is clean and warm. Service is excellent. Thank you, the FAMA hotel team, for your great service.

Almost no negative thoughts! Hotel is located in such a good place. The staff were very friendly and kind. The room and bathroom were very clean. Great view. Loud at night but good that earplugs were provided. Restaurant was amazing with good food. Really recommend others to visit ❤️

We arrived at the Hotel Fama Residence after we had a problem with a booking at a near-by hotel, After accessing the hotel we were greeted with two friendly faces at the front desk their names was Sebastian and Kornelia we explained our dilemma with the previous hotel they said it was no problem and would try and help us,we wanted to stay for three nights but could only let us have a room for 2 nights which we were very grateful, The room was first class, although we found the room to be very warm during the night even with the window open, The room was nicely decorated very clean. The breakfast at the hotel was very good with a large choice of food and the staff in the resteraunt were very polite and friendly. We Will come back to this hotel in future when we come back to Gdansk

Very clean, modern, comfortable rooms. Pet friendly, our window is facing długa street, but if you close the window most of the noise is gone. At night for sleeping is very quiet. The breakfast for 40zl is wonderful. I just wish that for breakfast they wouldn't play loud techno music, something soothing and at a lower volume so we could have a conversation while we have breakfast instead would be great. During the day we want to have lunch there and we want to go inside because of the cigarette smoke from other clients but we can't because again, the noise.

Excellent quality-price relation. Staff at the reception very professional and kind. Rooms are mix of design-simplicity, very clean and spacey. Breakfast is generous and tasty, I look for healthy stuff with proteins, and there's enough of it as well as croissants. Location is the 'cherry on the cake'.

Shame only for the noise experienced would have given a higher rating . Monday night kept awake from 2am to 4 am with roof noise banging due to high winds. Of course the hotel can't be accountable for mother nature !! However Tuesday morning 8am woke by building maintenance in the hotel . 8am way too early for power drills to be In operation. Same thing again Wednesday morning this time from 9 am .. Extremely noisy in our room. So needless to say no chance of a lie in.. . On the plus side room was spotless and breakfast was good and location is very central.

Positives include location (although the Golden Gate gets super busy and congested), value for money, cleanliness and very good breakfast selection. However overall was not so impressed and wouldn’t come back. The WiFi was really bad, I often used my data instead which is finite. If you want to do any work here, then book elsewhere. The rooms are not sound proofed well at all, it’s very loud at night and in the mornings. The TV is super slow and annoying to use. In combination with the awful WiFi, just no point using it unless you want to watch Polish state TV… The room felt dated and definitely needs a bit of an upgrade. Bathroom was nice but water pressure is poor. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 3 stars is that it was booked early at a discounted price.

Fantastic hotel, lovely room with loads of conveniences and nice touches. Excellent breakfast too. Nothing left to improve in my opinion! When I come back to Gdansk I'll look no further for a place to stay.

Really nice place and people, Exactly like on pictures. Parking near, good location. We came with a dog and our stay was delightful, I’m recommending this place, only one thing that I didn’t like was my bed, it was double bed room but it was just two single beds next to each other.

Hotel is clean and very comfortable. Although the location is really central, it is on the main pedestrian street where the bars & restaurants are located meaning it's quite noisy during the night and early mornings. Only had breakfast at the hotel and was buffet style, plenty to choose from. Overall the 3 night stay was good.

Location will get 10/10 for us as we wanted to live in the heart of the old city. The hotel is right there. Rooms are nice and comfortable. We stayed there for one night. The girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that our room did not get cleaned because we forgot to inform them. I missed reading about it, it was probably displayed in the door to the room. I expected like other hotels that the room would be cleaned if a 'do not disturb ' sign was not present on the door. I think that this hotel should follow the same rule or tell its guests explicitly when they arrive.

Very good location, superfriendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast selection wasn't quite in my taste but it was all very fresh as well. We got it for a very affordable price so I would recommend it!

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and tidy. Very nice breakfast and dinner and wow step out of the hotel into the aesthetically pleasing long street. Plenty of information about free organised tours. Be useful if they had a washing/drying machine. Anyhow I enjoyed my stay and will be there again.
