We booked this Kayaking tour in Gdansk through Get Your Guide before travelling to Gdansk. On the day the weather turned bad but we did it anyway which was great fun and the rain stopped anyway. Our guide Syzmon looked after us very well and used his waterproof camera to take pictures of us along the way. I would say this is a must do tour if visiting this city. Highly recommended!

Great day with the team out on true water today. We had an amazing time seeing the sights of Gdansk from a different perspective. The whole trip took over 2.30h with sights like the old town and industrial works but also not so far from the centre the countryside. It's super easy and you need no skills before hand and really not much chance of falling in as the kayaks they use are super steady so it's suitable for all ages. The team also speak great English and give you a running commentary as your gliding through the water. They are super professional and safety was of the up most importance. Very impressed with these guys.

We don't have much experience in kayaking, so, unfortunately, i didn't think about my clothes, and came with my EU size 52 hiking boots and down jacket. The boots did not fit into the regular kayak, but within no time we got a bigger kayak and new spray decks, my son even got special gloves to protect his hands in the wind! It was totally bearable in these conditions! We enjoyed all of the tour and had a great time. Szymon is a great guide, knows a lot of interesting and entertaining stories to tell! Erik also had great tips for excursion destinations around the city. The tour lasted about 2.5 hours and if you have an average fitness level, that's not a problem. Even though I noticed my arms afterwards :D I particularly liked how attentive the guides were to participants who had less experience with kayaking. Care was always taken to ensure that everyone kept up. The kayak station is located in the shipyard area, which you should definitely explore. It's definitely worth it.
