The
building
itself
is
truly
impressive,
situated
on
what
is
arguably
Gdansk's
most
beautiful
street,
adjacent
to
St.
Mary's
Basilica.
While
the
rooms
are
basic,
they
offer
a
pleasant
stay
with
compact
yet
functional
bathrooms.
However,
the
writing
desk
is
quite
small
and
may
not
be
ideal
for
working
with
your
laptop.
Each
guest
is
provided
with
only
one
large
towel
(without
face
towels),
but
slippers
are
included.
The
rooms
feature
a
kettle,
although
there
is
no
coffee
machine.
It's
worth
noting
that
if
there
are
more
than
two
guests
in
a
room,
it
can
become
quite
cramped,
especially
when
the
sofa
bed
is
opened,
making
it
difficult
for
others
to
move
around.
Breakfast
is
served
at
a
restaurant
just
around
the
corner,
starting
at
9:00.
If
your
plans
require
an
earlier
start,
you
might
miss
breakfast,
as
alternatives
that
open
earlier
in
the
area
are
scarce
(we
couldn't
find
any).
The
restaurant
offers
a
couple
of
set
breakfast
options,
which
are
decent
if
not
exceptional,
and
the
service
there
is
good.
