Pros and cons: + Close to the city centre, 5 min walk. + Friendly and helpful staff. + Quiet room (Superior double). + Modern interior. - Rooms were not properly cleaned, found bugs on the floor and on sofa. - Super busy breakfast and quite loud common areas with lots of kids. - Pool is honestly false advertisement. It's in a different building and you have to book time there limited to 60 minutes. Decent hotel for the price range, better than expected other than the pool not being freely available. Breakfast was good but not really vegan/lactose or gluten intolerant-friendly. It was also quite pricy for what it was, however worth it for the convenience of a morning buffet, but not really worth it for the food itself. We stayed in late July and it was quite busy.

The hotel seemed decent, just unfortunate that I had a very bad customer service experience with one of the representatives so I will never know for sure. I made the booking for the wrong dates and immediately called the hotel to ask if they could please change to the correct dates as the fare was not changeable. The representative insisted he wouldn't change my reservation and was not very keen to offering a solution, even after I offered to pay for the fare difference so my money wouldn't go to waste. Good customer experience goes a long way and this incident can only speak of how they treat their guests, and for that reason I would not recommend.

Everything and everybody was just nice in this hotel. We were there for 2 nights and feels like want to come back again. The room was big and spotless, complete with electric kettles and tea + coffee + drinks. The breakfast was nice, many choices and tasty. I also like the hall/ waiting room/ lobby. It was cozy with nice lighting. WiFi is fine, and we have to reconnect again after some time. Its location is superb! Close to the city center with a very good public transportation. However, It wasn't noisy at all.

Nice new hotel just a few minutes walk away from the old town. Area is currently being developed so there is some construction activity around. Pool next door was nice, plus room spacious and comfortable.

Hotel Nr 1 has a really central location, about 5 minutes walk into the city center. Our rooms were clean and had a decent standard. Breakfast had a very limited selection and with no milk or standard orange/apple juice to drink. Pool area that's available for guest is in a different building where you need to book an appointment and is limited to 1 hour each day.

Really nice hotel and spa. The only problem is that more of than a wellness center, it feels like a playground. No age restriction so kids running up and down, even in the sauna area

Im staying two days, was fantastic place. Staff always helping Costmer service was great guys exactly (jerzy) and others customer services staff Food at breakfast was great 👍🏻. Bar and restaurant fantastic 😋 too Really im enjoying with staying two days I ll back soon to Gdans Gdanas was beautiful city in North Poland All people i met was friendly lovely helpful welcoming And more. Perfect stay spotless maiden apartments and pool/gym/sauna access. Only thing I would improve is an earlier gym opening time so I can on with my day after an early workout. Absolutely perfect stay.

Very unsafe hotel for children. There is a playroom for small children where parents are supposed to supervise but always there are many children without anyone watching on them. So they hurt other children and there s nothing the hotel does about it. It s too bad, because the hotel is clean and has nice rooms,however safety , especially children's, should always come first. Not the case here!

We had a great stay at the Number One Hotel. It is close to the city and also a bus and tram station nearby. Cleaning was fine. The hotel was quiet and it was possible to change the temperature in the room. Also it was nice to be able to visit the spa (however, it is 1 hour a day and you have to book in advance). I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Such a wonderful hotel. The staff were exceptionally accommodating. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Beds are extremely comfy. Great location and brilliant breakfast. Couldn't fault this hotel.

Staff were polite and we were able to check in 2 hours early. The room was very clean and spacious, and also had a nice balcony. The bar is also nice to have a few drinks. The only thing I was not a fan of was the fact that the double bed had two single blankets rather than a large double blanket.

The shower was difficult to operate and had a tendency to jump from hot to cold. The staff were great. The pool situation wasn't great, 60 minute spots that need to be booked the day before. And was always full of screaming kids.

Breakfast... I can't even... Worse than the new barbie movie. My friend found a mysterious blueberry cake in his pillow. AC is very powerful, but can hurt your throat in the sleepy hours. Nice balconies and location btw.

Rented an apartment with Grano Apartments and they are starting with a complete renovation in the block so the walls are shaking. calls the reception and asks if it is possible to change rooms to a quieter place, but they need a lot of money for that. It is poor treatment of customers who are on holiday and want to have a quiet time. When this happens, the least they can do is move customers to vacant rooms without payment. It's called customer service finally chose to accept one of the other rooms for extra payment and the manager said they could bring the key to the other apartment right away. waited 4 hours and no one came.

Lovely, modern, clean hotel. Easy walking distance to town centre and amenities. Staff very helpful. Lockers available free of charge for use after check out. Note pool and spa in building next door and booking required.

Well, I liked almost everything about the apartment, space, view, location...except that I had to do the bed clothes myself. I got a room with Sofa bed, and I actually had to do the work to put the Sofa in the bed mode and also dressing this up. I have stayed in other apartments with sofa bed which everything was already done to use.

Clean, comfortable and quiet room (I had read the one review about bedbugs and checked betting and mattress thoroughly- no problem!). Spa is wonderful, hot saunas and pool pleasant, not too cold. Close walking distance to old town. Would stay there again!

Location and comfort wise a 4/5 Is it the place of Gdańsk dreams, not quite. Swimming pool is next door and is decent 3.5/5 Room was big 5/5 Bed ok 3.5/5 There was a balcony built into the room. Anyway, good for overnight or couple nights stay.

Well located hotel, walking distance to old town and waterfront. Lovely sized room with balcony for very good price too. Good selection of breakfast items though less British and more European (obviously!) Ate at restaurant in evening with good menu choices and prices. Swimming pool is good size but you must book an hour slot in advance...good idea to pack sliders too. Had a very reasonably priced massage treatment at SPA. 100% recommended

It's a nice hotel, rooms are ok, mine was supposed to have a balcony but it was inside 🤣🤣 Service is terrible. The hotel arranged a transfer via taxi from the airport. I left my hat in it. I realised as soon as it pulled away and felt the snow on my head. The taxis frequently stop at the hotel. I asked them to phone the taxi company and get them to phone the driver to put it to one side They said they would do that. Two days later I hadn't heard anything so asked again. They basically shrugged their shoulders and said driver didn't have it. The bar closes at 10pm. Yes you read that correctly. There are no smoking facilities. You are treat like a leper. You have to go out the front entrance, walk away from it and smoke on the street. Never saw any of the staff smile once

Amazing hotel

Excellent hotel within easy walking distance of the Old Town and all its attractions. 24 hour reception manned by efficient English-speaking staff. They can help with all enquiries. Lovely well equipped bedrooms. Free use of the spa and swimming pool. Great food in the restaurant, although the breakfast is very continental in style.

Hotel is perfect place to spend your holidays also with children. It was perfectly clean, great sized rooms, amazing and delicious breakfast + dinner in restaurant. Nice and helpful staff. Very close to the city centre. I highly recommend

Completely standard hotel, fits the 3 stars they have received. otherwise nice to clean in the room, medium hard bed. decent shower with waterfall, but clear that it is a bit worn. otherwise quiet at night as it is a walking distance to the old town. not sure if I would have chosen the same hotel next time.

Great location, suitable for strolling the old town. Rooms are modern looking, clean, and spacious. Doors are massive and provide reasonable sound proofing. WiFi is good and stable, must to have nowadays. Smart TV is good and nice to have in the room. Swimming pool, sauna and gym are a wellcome bonus which comes at no extra cost. Wellness facilities are located next door to the main lobby. In order to access them, guests need to go outside the hotel. Though it is a three star hotel, it offers much more than some four star ones. Great value for the money. Would definitely stay again.

Good place to stay for a family. I would not recommend the halfboard option though. Especially dinner was not a good option. Also the SPA outside the building was very inconvenient. Overall I would recommend.

What a neat and clean hotel. The entrance is very nice. Kind people, almost all speak at least a little English. We felt like home. The rooms are good and the finish is also very good. Breakfast was great and for diner we ate pizza. They where very fresh and hot. We will certenly come back.

Great place to stay for few nights. Location in the central Gdansk and close distance to the old market. For those eager to go to the beach area also 10 minutes drive. I did enjoy the burger in the restaurant well done and served with hand made chipps.

Nice,quiet hotel, good room. Thought I liked a soft bed,but after this experience with firm bed, I came home and tok off soft layer and now we sleep so much better. Really great service from everybody✨️❤️💐
