I spent seven days here, visiting various places very intensively, but I still didn't see everything - I ran out of time. It is a dynamically developing city, you can feel positive energy here. I haven't been here for 20 years. You can see very big changes. Some have been renovated, many have been added in a style that matches the buildings, and above all, a lot of modernity and luxury. You pass through the gate and stand on the bridge and you are immediately breathtaking with the view of the water and beautiful tenement houses, restaurants and cafes. At first I didn't know what they had built there in the middle of the river, but it turned out to be a twisted bridge. When ships pass, this is the position he stands in. Nice idea, nicely lit in the evening, and there's a lifting bridge there. A practical combination of old and modern and a convenience for pedestrians who can cross the river in various places. The old town is constantly bustling with life, especially in the evening. A lot of people visit this place.

The main advise I can give to anyone who us willing to visit - do not trust all online reviews regarding hotels and restaurants, use your own judgement as I have learned during my last few visits in Gdansk that most of the time reviews are far from true (the most highly rated places especially hotels and restaurants were overrated, and reality was far from the truth).
