Visited on 9th July. Booked table for 19:00 (2hrs reservation), we got seated at 19:30… it took extremely long time before we got our starters and the first order of drinks. Starters were mediocre (carpaccio drained in a flood of cheese, completely tasteless). For the main course, one of us got “beer” instead of “BURGER” - before the staff was back with info that it will take 30-45 minutes for kitchen to make this order, we finished our course and declined burger order. Asked for compensation for missing burger, it took well over 45minutes before we got any feedback. At that time we paid, cancelled everything else and left. Later the same night two of us got bad and stomach pain. It luckily ended up with just seeking up every toilet that was near to us… as it turned out - majority of guests got salmonella during the evening. Place was recommended for us, however the hype and the line outside is just hilarious - food is nothing else but mediocre. We will not be back and a tip as e frequent visitor of Gdansk - you can find a ton of better places with good food, drinks and better atmosphere.

Absolutely one of the best places in the area, and also in the entire Gdańsk. The food is not only looking, but also tasting amazing. Delicious main courses and desserts. The cocktails are also really interesting. The service, hosts and waiters, are fully professional but at the same time remain friendly. The only downside may be the queue before entrance - we visited on a Wednesday night and were seated almost right away, but especially on weekends you need to be prepared for a long wait time - however, it's worth it. :)

Well..now I understand why there is always a large queue in front of the restaurant and people even waiting in strong rain just to come in and "find out". The location looks beautiful and also a little fancy. 2 floors , a lot of tables and nice staff. We were sitting for several hours and had around 4 drinks each and every single one was super good and awesome to look at. The prices are unexpectedly low.. cocktails of that quality for 29-33zl is perfect. The food our friends ordered was tasty aswell as they told us. Overall everyone is happy with the visit and as long as the queue is not too long we definitely will come back. It's probably still worth the wait , but you know how it is ;) 100% recommendation

The food was ok. The waitress was nice. The place was beautiful. It took nearly 45min for us to get our food, which was a bit bland and not worth that long of a wait. The drinks came fast and were nice.

This upscale restaurant next to Gdansk's river offers an amazing culinary experience. The food is simply outstanding, and the drinks are top-notch. The elegant atmosphere adds to the upscale feel of the place. However, due to its immense popularity, securing a reservation a few days in advance is strongly recommended. The only drawback is the slightly stressful ambiance caused by the constant hustle and bustle of waitresses rushing back and forth. It can be challenging to fully unwind and relax. Nonetheless, if you're seeking exceptional gastronomy, this restaurant is a must-visit in Gdansk.

nice atmosphere, friendly staff, luxurious view and good music. The food is very tasty and there is also a wide selection of cocktails. However, reservations must be made 3 weeks in advance. There may be a queue at the restaurant, but it's worth it.

Each time we passed by the restaurant was crowded. So we decided to try it. It took 5 minutes to get help by Natalia; a very nice person. We sat near to the entrance and it was cold. As soon as we told Natalia that we felt Cold, she changed our place. The foods and drinks were delicious and big enough. It's located in the old town.

Been dining at this place a few times this summer and each time the food and service was outstanding. A young, blonde waiter (name starting with a “K”) was so attentive and a gem to have on the team. Food was delicious, portions were very generous and prices very reasonable. Great music, unique decor and a lovely river view. Highly recommended.

It was my first time coming to Chleb i Wino and it was absolutely amazing! Luxurious view and good music with a nice atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and there is also a wide selection of different types of foods. I would highly recommend Chleb i Wino to anyone who is looking for delicious food with a beautiful view. I will definitely come back.

The atmosphere of this place is really good with a nice view if you are on the second floor. The food and drinks are good and prices are reasonable, especially for the location. It can be quite crowded in the evening, but it's worth the wait and the restaurant is quite big so the queue moves usually fast.

This place is just impeccable - one of best schabowys that I have eaten in Poland for about 2 years of staying, friendly staff, affordable prices. I understand why there are always queues there!

First the most important thing: Food: Perfect Ambience: something special in a positive sense Service: incredibly good Should book: YES UNCONDITIONALLY. Twice my journey has taken me here so far. As a single person, I always got a seat quickly. So this could be more difficult for groups, therefore RESERVE. After I took a seat I would be served quickly. My wish list consisted of 3 courses. The menu offers a lot, but still remains clear. Finally, I opted for a beef tartare as an appetizer, homemade pasta as a main course and a tiramisu as a dessert. To make a long story short all dishes were excellent. The whole thing was accompanied by a glass of Portuguese white wine, a cognac and a carafe of water. Now let's move on to the service. This is incredibly good. No waiting, no drawing attention to yourself. Every wish was virtually read from my face and still a relaxed atmosphere was kept. All in all, I must say that this is one of my favorite restaurants in Europe.

One of the most nice restaurants we discovered in Gdansk Old Town. European dishes in the large menu: pizzas, pasta, salads and others. Great views from the second floor, cool decoration and furniture and very kind staff. Very touristic, obvious. But really cool. I recommend it a lot.

We were not made aware by any of the two waitresses of the terribly long waiting time. This place seems to be very popular among young crowds looking for fancy drinks and cocktails. Yet, we decided to get some food. Despite the fact the place wasn’t fully packed we still had to wait for an hour to be served our dishes. When it finally arrived everything was truly delicious (fantastic duck!) and we were offered a dessert on the house to make up for the long waiting. Still I’d say it was really good though not worth waiting for over an hour.

It is clearly a popular place as there was a line, just to get a seat. We waited a little and got a table. The atmosphere was good, moderen stile. It took a long time for us to place the order and unfortunately other tables that were seated after us, got served first. So we felt a bit forgotten. We ordered a pasta and it came fast. The flavour was great but there wasn't a lot of sause, so it was a bit dry. But overall a nice place. I don't think we will come back though.

Great breakfast place. It was not possible to get any table reservation because it was fully booked for everyday of our stay in Gdańsk but they always had a free table for us when we went there. The food was tasty and really enjoyed it. Maybe a little too big portions for us but we loved it either way.

Good place for dinner. There are no free tables almost at any time. Delicious food and good service. The only negative: the queue at the entrance.

We queued up for breakfast on Sunday. There were a lot of people. Breakfast for two cost us 55 euros. The food is delicious, a lot of food on the plate! Waffles with eggs Benedict were delicious. Friendly and fast staff.

Had one of the best breakfasts we've ever eaten, and all at a fantastic price. The setting on the river is amazing, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend, and will be returning.

Amazing place! Food was so delicious and portions is much more bigger that I expected. I have tried salmon ( it’s half of fish, probably from river), the portion was so big that I couldn’t even finish it. Perfect pizza and the best hot vine I have ever tried. I wouldn’t expect such a good prices for this quality, my favorite place in Gdańsk.

Modern breakfast menu, great selection to any taste. Any set of breakfast comes with free coffee/juice or mimosa. How great is that! Generous portions too. Despite of being always busy with all tables taken the same minute, service is still great. The decor also is getting my nomination of being exclusive and creating magic atmosphere. We also had a chance to speak with the owner of the place and he was super friendly and caring person, asking if we enjoyed the food, inviting us to come back again. We will make sure we will! Thank you!

Very delicious food and fancy drinks. Very trendy place with high energy. Such a friendly and attentive staff - a special thanks to Kaja, who took care of us the whole evening.

Absolutely stunning, beautiful views, excellent food. Highly recommending tomato soup with in house baked foccacia. Very good quality steak served on a hot stone board. Drinks are at the good price, recommend Belvedere Nitro Espresso and Pina Colada both serving in the way you probably have never seen.

I put 5 stars, but when people order main dishes, desert and coffee, i guess it's logical that coffee should be brought with deserts, not before main dishes. Or at least waiter should to ask about it. But your place is really good!

Amazing food, cool atmosphere, friendly staff, inventive and interesting cocktails! One of the best restaurants in Gdańsk. There is always a big queue to get in, although it moves fast. I would definitely come back !
