The
service
was
5
star,
i
even
tipped
the
waiter
which
i
do
not
often
do.
Unfortunately
I
didn't
get
his
name,
but
from
the
start
he
was
very
attentive.
A
Ukrainian
that
from
what
I
understood
worked
in
2
restaurants
and
spoke
Italian!
Going
to
an
Italian
place,
that
just
adds
authenticity.
Anyways
to
the
food
and
the
reasons
for
my
three
stars.
I
am
Italian,
so
yes
I
am
picky
about
Italian
food.
There
are
no
compromises,
no
interpretations
or
adaptations.
Therefore
the
starter,
a
bruschetta
cacciatore
(yes
i
know
it's
meat,
I
sinned)...
Never
ever
serve
bresaola
on
a
Philadelphia
base
(we
let
this
one
slip)
with
vinegary
mushrooms
on
top...no,
no,
no.
The
mushrooms
need
to
be
abbrustoliti,
fried,
in
a
little
oil
until
blackened.
Anything
else
will
simply
not
do.
I
removed
the
mushrooms
and
ate
the
3
bruschette,
very
filling.
The
pizza,
spinaci
e
gorgonzola,
great
taste
but
too
greasy
and
too
much
stuff,
so
much
so
that
the
slices
bent
at
the
tip,
which
a
pizza
is
not
supposed
to
do
(unless
it
is
Napoletana
and
that
is
a
different
story).
I
could
not
eat
it
all
so
i
took
the
leftovers
home
(note:
ate
the
rest
today
and
cold
it
is
a
very
good
pizza).
As
a
dessert
i
got
a
bombardino,
an
espresso
mixed
with
Advokat
liqueur
and
brandy
and
whipped
cream
on
top.
No
complaints
there.
Therefore,
as
an
Italian,
for
the
food,
I
cannot
give
more
than
three
stars
BUT
I
will
be
going
back,
they
had
a
day/week
menu
(separate
from
the
a
la
carte
menu)
with
very
interesting
dishes.
I
will
try
some
of
those
next
time.
PS
just
updated
it
to
4
stars
but
that
is
only
because
of
the
service.
