The
Southern
Pier
in
Gdynia
is
a
pier
over
600
meters
long,
serving
as
a
recreational
and
tourist
space
with
numerous
attractions.
It
features
several
monuments,
a
large
city
name
sign,
the
Gdynia
Aquarium—a
perfect
spot
for
marine
life
enthusiasts—and
a
marina
with
moored
yachts.
Along
the
waterfront,
you'll
find
massive
sailing
ships,
including
the
training
ship
"Dar
Młodzieży,"
the
museum
ship
"Dar
Pomorza,"
the
museum
ship
ORP
"Błyskawica,"
as
well
as
passenger
ships
and
water
trams
offering
trips
to
Jastarnia
and
Hel.
At
the
end
of
the
pier,
there's
the
"Maszty"
monument
and
Poland's
only
Passenger
Ship
Alley
adorned
with
stars
representing
the
largest
and
most
luxurious
cruise
ships
that
have
visited
Gdynia.
Closer
to
the
beginning
of
the
pier,
you'll
find
bars,
fish
fry
stands,
and
cafés.
I
highly
recommend
taking
a
leisurely
stroll
and
enjoying
the
attractions
this
place
has
to
offer.
