This ship had an exciting past as a Cadet Training Ship. It started service in 1930 and would do a European trip and a longer West Indies trip each year. In 1934 it sailed around the World covering 38746 miles, what an experience that must have been for those fortunate enough to gain a place on that trip. It was also invloved in bicentennial celebrations in USA in 1976. In 1939 she sailed to Sweden and was protected in Stockholm till after the War. Her last voyage was in 1981, she was replaced as the cost of refit would have been almost the same as a new ship. Now she remains a Museum ship. The Museum gives you all of it's history, you can then tour the engine room, living quarters and finally the deck. Well worth the visit.

(Translated by Google) Great atmosphere, delicious desserts and exceptional coffee. Nice service, especially the waiter Adrian - helpful, knows the local attractions and advises what to visit in Gdynia :) (Original) Super klimat, desery wyśmienite, a kawa wyjątkowa. (Translated by Google) A great place, but definitely not enough employed staff. Dirty tables, cluttered with dishes, long waiting for orders. Absolutely not fault of the service. There are simply not enough of them. But the worst thing happened when the waiter came in the storm and said that he has to fold the umbrellas because it's 5pm. People with full orders under umbrellas and here is a top-down command and no mercy. Things got poor there.

Recently, I was served by a smiling Mrs. Marta and she flawlessly recommended a cold cheesecake - well, heaven in my mouth! I heartily recommend! (Original) Jako mieszkanka Gdyni często zaglądam do kawiarni w domku Żeromskiego, piękne miejsce, pyszna kawa i lody, fantastyczna obsługa, zawsze serdeczna i pomocna. Ostatnio obsługiwała mnie uśmiechnięta pani Marta i bezbłędnie poleciła serniczek na zimno - no niebo w gębie! Serdecznie polecam!

(Translated by Google) As I can recommend the Navy Museum itself with a clear conscience, the open-air exhibition is a tragedy. Run down, giving the impression of being unattended, it is simply ugly and neglected. It is not about the exhibits themselves, which are perfectly fine on their own, but their appearance and condition. Placed outside, after years of maintenance in the "let's add another layer of paint" style, they are in a terrible condition. I hope there will be money someday to refurbish these facilities before they fall apart from old age. You can visit, but it looks average.

Beautiful tall ship! Gorgeous streamline You can feel time and history coming out of its pores. Inside exhibits are informative but could have been done a bit more creatively. Still worth a visit and to take photos on it's deck

Very well preserved and interesting exhibition of a ship that was used for training Polish naval officers for several decades. Very friendly and helpful guides who also speak English. Recommended for everybody interested in history, ships, showing their kids how life was before and in general expanding their horizons. The display of knots on the lower deck fits perfectly with the large amounts of rope and the smell of tar and salty seas.

(Translated by Google) The Żeromski House has long been our favorite place in Gdynia Orłowo. We ate the traditional warm apple pie with ice cream and coffee. This year, a place with a strict sanitary regime, the requirement to put masks inside, outside tables at an appropriate distance. The apple pie is still delicious! Szarlotka nadal pyszna!

(Translated by Google) A very interesting place. A micro cafe with an interesting interior design referring to the history of Żeromski but also photos of old Gdynia. Large selection of cakes (very tasty). We tried 5 desserts and all worth repeating. The amount of space is rather small, either lucky luck or try booking (in the summer it may be easier because there is a garden with a view of the bay. Friendly and obliging service. (Original) Bardzo ciekawe miejsce. Mikrokawiarnia z interesującym wystrojem nawiązującym do historii związanej z Żeromskim ale też zdjęciami dawnej Gdyni. Duży wybór ciast (bardzo smacznych). Spróbowaliśmy 5 deserów i wszystkie godne powtórzenia. Obsługa miła i uczynna.

(Translated by Google) A lot of interesting outdoor exhibits. You can take a close look at cannons and cannons. The area is tidy and tidy. It is worth visiting as part of the exhibition of the Navy Museum. Only the broader descriptions of individual exhibits are missing. Some torpedoes already eat rust and require care. Children will have a lot of running and watching here. (Original) Bardzo dużo ciekawych eksponatów na świeżym powietrzu. Można z bliska przyjrzeć się działom i armatom. Teren uporządkowany i zadbany. Warto odwiedzić jako cześć wystawy Muzeum Marynarki Wojennej. Brakuje tylko szerszych opisów poszczególnych eksponatów. Niektóre torpedy już zjada rdza i wymagają pielęgnacji. Dzieci będą miały tutaj sporo biegania i oglądania.

Fascinating museum about the history of the ship and lots of opportunities to explore the ship and experience how older ships operated. It's not huge, we took our time and talked about a lot of things and finished in about 30/40 minutes. There is a very tiny gift shop that sells things like magnets, bookmarks, postcards etc. A very nice and interesting little museum and a beautiful ship.

The prices seem to reflect good value. However, website said open until 6, the board outside the ship said buy tickets before 3 as shuts at 4 and both the ship and stand were shut. I get that the ship closes for winter but it needs to be sign-posted much better. However, if you stay until sunset, you can see the Polish navy crew do their colours routine at the stern of the ship which is very cool

The Dar Pomorza “Gift of Pomerania” is a Polish full-rigged sailing ship built in 1909 which is preserved in Gdynia as a museum ship. Very interested visit. Next to Dar Pomorza is moored another museum ship ORP Błyskawica. It is the oldest preserved destroyer in the world.

(Translated by Google) Nice place by the sea. In the season there are places outside the cafe - coffee tastes even better with a view of the Baltic :) I came across a very good "cake of the day" - yeast with fruit. During the tourist season at the weekend, the service does not work a bit and wait a long time for the waiter, this is the only minus I noticed during my visit to Dom Żeromski. (Original) Sympatyczne miejsce nad samym morzem.

(Translated by Google) I like the house - Żeromski's museum as a building block. I was lucky to watch November 11 on the 101st anniversary of regaining independence. When national colors and symbols were on the outer facade; cotillion and flag I like the photo and description exhibition inside the house. It is nice inside or during the summer on the terrace to drink coffee and eat a good cake hearing the sound of the bay of Gdansk (Original) Podoba mi się domek - muzeum Żeromskiego jako bryła budowli.

You can check out some nice battleship which is museum along site other beautiful ships which you can check, some of them are restaurants. In total the spot it’s a nice spot to stop by. You can eat some food, check out ships, there is aquarium and very nice views. It might be hard to park car over there

It's a museum on a ship next to a museum on a ship! This museum portrays the history of this specific ship and how it came to be. It's gone through some conversions and have some rooms on display on what people used to live with while on board.

The Ship was lit up and looked amazing in Gdynia harbour. There were several museums open free of charge and the city was buzzing with lots of people enjoying a mild night and gathering to see a fireworks display.
