Stena Line Gdynia - Karlskrona

Ferry service

🫤 Terrifying Arrival !!! Due to a new terminal, the way by navigation doesn't work. Advice: Don't be late. Good news: The real last "dead time" is 15 mins before time of departure. People often mention time, good, great, ferry, cabin, clean, experience, comfortable, service, crew,

Crossing from karlskrona to gydnia. Cabin for 2 adults & 2 kids. Cabin was like a sauna and aircon was turned to it's coldest. No tv in the room. No soap in the toilet either. Dents in the roof of the cabin and chewing gum stuck to roof. Kids play area was out of order. Main toilet on the ship.was blocked and foul. 🤢🤮🤭 Many drunken single polish men on this ship... Bought food buffet in the main eating area and the food was as good as cold. Used this crossing a few times but not good value for money.

It was a great experience to be able to travel with Stena Line from Gdynia to Karlskrona, was provided a very clean cabin with comfortable beds inside, very tasty breakfast in a restaurant with great choice of food and refreshments and very friendly and professional service.

Good ships. However. It is a bit weird that most of the crew barely speak English or a Scandinavian language. This is sad.

Old luggage lockers that only accept coins. Not possible to exchange in any way near the terminal. Had to take the luggage with us to the train station. Extremelly unpractical. Yes, I'm not joking, bring 20 zloty in coins..

There have always been single cabins for the past 5 years. Today the crew says it was not so. For an additional 20 euros, there will be a place in single cabin. No respect for truck drivers. Shame, for such a huge company that the money wins.

Historic port for anyone who remembers the fall of communism lead by Polish dockworkers striking. It was part of turbulent time politically and should stay on in memory. However, today it is a vibrant ferry and cruise port and staging point for trips into Gdansk and further, including death camps of WW2 etc. The port itself is quite scenic and we enjoyed a wonderful sunny afternoon just wandering the dockside with locals who came to photograph the giant cruiseships and ferries. There is plenty of seating both on the jetty and outside the main ferry terminal. People were really friendly and interested in the ships.

This ferry service was absolutely fantastic! New and quiet ships, the cabins were modern and tidy. I hardly noticed we were moving when I was in bed. The services onboard are incredibly good value and the food is tasty. Almost like a mini cruise!

Went to Poland and came back with 2 different ferries. One was old and not nice neither comfortable while the other one was much better. Service was not good nor in the restaurant or in the rooms. We could keep our cabin up until 30 minutes before arrival but some staff opened my door 70 minutes before arrival while we were sleeping without even knocking! And they just said in a very annoyed way "we have to clean"! Toilet in the cabin was pretty dirty.

This ferry route is a great addition to our holiday. Reasonable prices onboard and stuff for the kids to do too. Comfortable cabins that are well kept and clean. Food onboard is good and breakfast includes.

Very bad service, boat was delayed by 6 hours, we payed for room with 4 beds and included breakfast, they offer us a trip with no cabin, no beds, and no breakfast, and a very small amount of money back for this, will definitely bring this up with konsumentverket in Sweden to get my money back. We also got no information that this boat was delayed until we found out ourselves with Marine Traffic app, and they are obligated to inform us if its delayed by more than 30 minutes.

Boarding is the worst I've experienced. The most messy one. And it happens every single time. No matter how early you come, you can be the very last one to come on board. You can sit in your car 2 hours, after check-in, and all the cars which arrived long time after you,bor even too late, can go on board before you. This is not very irritating. Messy whole the way.

Very nice on board but as a foot passenger disembarking was a nightmare as the bus service was terrible.

Would be perfect if they had any toilets there or at least signs for them as we waited for entrance to the ferry for almost two hours and let's be honest, it's a long time to need to pee.

Someone made a mistake while planning this terminal building. There's a gangway but still you are driven aboard with bus. Otherwise the location is excellent.

Built using 70s technology and hasn't been upgraded since! Cabins are filthy, heater knob doesn't work, volume knob doesn't work. They insist on blasting the entire ferry (cabins included) with useless info when you're trying to sleep...(very loud) What a joke! Oh I nearly forgot to say they are more expensive than Viking line which compared to them is sifi technology. Same goes for Polferis, also very, very bad... Would give 0 stars.
