Suddenly we figured out that hotel is a host for some loud events, and instead of a good sleep we listened to bass music until 2:45AM. In addition the air conditioner was buzzing, so we opened the window, but there is a railway nearby and trains run. As result, we did not get any rest and had a headache. Next day we need to continue our trip tired and sleepy. If you have a sensitive sleep and just want to spend the night, I advise not to go to this hotel.

The hotel is new and has modern features such as a digital lighting system. It was this system that caused much disruption to the quality of sleep. The system lit the entire room automatically when one entered the bathroom. The first receptionist I raised this with came across rude when she told me she was “too busy”. Thankfully another receptionist was able to help and the system in my particular room was faulty. I accept that not all rooms had this particular fault and she did offer another room. I found the beds to be hard, the pillows were the saving grace as these were really comfy. The walls are thin and with noise coming from the room next door this caused further disruption to sleep. I enjoyed the breakfast and gym and the location was a 10 minute walk from the main Gdynia street. The table tennis room was also good fun.

We are waiting already 2 months for our refund. In the hotel we were told a refund will be offered after guests had a party all night long and we couldnt sleep one minute. I am really mad.
