I asked for a steak medium well and garlic sauce and I received steak well done with the mushroom sauce and I asked them to fix it they didn’t after that the manager came to me and told me there is no different between medium well well done !!! and he told me we’re not going to make another one for you if you wanna leave just leave if you want to enjoy good serviceDO NOT GO there .

Their customer service is rotted. We had a table of 6 on a reasonably quiet day. They brought out 5 dishes but forgetting 1. We enquired and she said she’ll check, however didn’t bother to come back or apologise or even give an update that they forgot. You could just see they were quickly making it in the kitchen. My 10 year old brother just had to sit there waiting for his souvlaki and by the time it came (20 mins from when we received ours) our food had gotten cold. I asked the manager why it took so long? Was it forgotten? Our dishes are now cold? She snapped and said “no you never asked for it”. Then she changed to “maybe I didn’t hear cos you were all talking at once”. I said to her but you asked him if he wanted chicken or lamb so you DID hear? She ignored me, walked back to her counter and in front of the entire restaurant yelled at me to stop being a “smart-alleck”. After this, I could hear her talking in their language to the manager? Or her husband? Dad? And then he starts arking up at us indirectly and in their language. I mean he was absolutely losing it, that the older bloke had to calm him down. I’ll never return lol and this was a staple restaurant for my family for the last 20 years. But let’s be realistic, it’s at no loss as the market now in Geelong is sooo competitive that Pizzaland will only hold their older customers! I can assure you new and young ones won’t be returning cos everything is so incredibly outdated and overpriced and there are sooo many better options out there now. Has their menu even changed in the last 20 years? No. Good luck!

We are long time customers of Pizzaland, this used to be the one place in Geelong you could guarantee you could get a good meal at a very fair price. It would seem this is not the case anymore, our meals were not up to the standard that Pizzaland has for so long maintained. The pizza was burnt, the bread of the kebab was either stale or undercooked. What was most insulting was that the prices have increased dramatically. I understand that the current economic situation is not great, but an over 50% price increase from only a few years ago is ridiculous. This stands for all "Main meals" with no exception. 25 dollars, up to 39. I fear this restaurant will soon no longer be a Geelong institution.

My family and I ordered in, only 3 out of the 5 meals came out. We waited after eating our meals for a further 10 minutes.. The 2 meals we were waiting on were pizza's. We went up to enquire only to find they weren't even in the oven.. Pathetic effort pizza land.

The original and the best. Truly one of the best pizza places in Australia and an absolute Geelong institution. Been coming here since 1995 and it never disappoints. Highly recommended family restaurant.

I ordered half and half pizza, by the time I started eating veggie side, pizza was swimming in water. Pizza was disgusting no flavour at all definately not worth $20.20

Having been going here for over 35 years. Over that time I have had a lot of good service and a lot of bad service. Over recent visits there has been an ongoing pattern of serving uncooked pizza. Today we ordered a pizza asking for no ham but bacon with friends, When served, there was ham on it as well and it being very undercooked. Mistakes happen but when I took it to the counter and advised the elderly male who makes pizzas, he was argumentative. The elderly female server said we did ask for ham and was relentless in maintaining this spin even though witnessed by our friends. Our previous visit involved the elderly male getting angry because the egg was undercooked and runny. He got cranky when asked to cook longer. Our 35 year relationship has come to an end tonight as a result of their rudeness and arrogance. Their behaviour reminded me of a certain Seinfeld episode involving soup.

I dont come from here infact i live in central Queensland. You locals are dam spoilt possibly the best pizza i have had. You dont get pizza like this any more. In fact i think it has ruined me in that every other pizza has to now somehow reach this standard. Well done.

Nice food but last night was $80.80 for 1 family pizza, 2 cheese turkish bread and 1 "large" tub of mushroom sauce. Expensive bloody bread @$17 each 🤯, wont be back at those prices...

Overall great place to eat. Value and Food was amazing. However, 1 less start due to their service. Regarding Atmosphere it’s more pub/restaurant vibe rather than just restaurant. Pizzas were really good and fresh. Particularly their Garlic Cheese Turkish Bread was fabulous. Kids loved it.

Got take-away pizza here for an outing by the beach with some friends for an after church get to get her have to say they were probably the nicest pizzas I have had in a while. if I was going to get pizza next time I'm in Geelong again I'd definitely come and buy from here

We have always loved Pizzaland. The wood oven give the Pizzas and Turkish Bread a great taste. Yum

We were on a long trip back to Melbourne when it became clear the kids weren't going to make it home without being fed. Pulled into Geelong and found Pizza Land. Had only a 15 minute wait which was pretty good considering we were a walk in order on a Saturday night. Pizzas were delicious and generous size. Kids loved them and Mum and Dad loved a quiet trip home. Good work guys

Have been meaning to try this place for quite some time now and it lived up to expectations! Turkish and Italian cuisine makes for an interesting combination and somehow, it works! My partner ordered the Mexican pizza. It was cooked nicely and worked very well with the different ingredients. It also had a generous amount of cheese on it. They were happy to swap out the olives for mushrooms, which was very accomodating. I ordered the Chicken Shish Kebab, which was delicious. The serving size is quite generous and could probably be sufficient for two, or one very hungry individual. The dish is quite light and healthy-tasting and comes with a lovely salad and beans. I would highly recommend it! The bistro has a retro vibe to it and has quite a large dining area. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a more casual dining-atmosphere. The facilities do have a bit of an old-feeling to them. I would love to see Pizzaland get some renovations. Nonetheless, the food was very good quality and I would suggest stopping by and trying it for yourself if you're visiting Geelong.

I placed an order for a vegetarian pizza with an extra topping of pineapple. When my order arrived, I noticed that the pineapple topping was missing from the pizza. When I brought this to the attention of staff, they agreed to make a new pizza for me, but upon receiving the new pizza, I was shocked to find that the pizza was poured on top of the pineapple, making it soggy and unappetizing. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I was quite disappointed with the way order was handled.

I really like this place, unfortunately it's let down by it's pricing. Went here for dinner and the food was fantastic. My only complaint is it's quite expensive for what you get. The food is great no doubt, I feel the price increase of everything though is really hurting this place.

Pizzaland has been a Geelong institution for such a long time. Food is always great. Customer service is always great. Price is reasonable and the decor of the restaurant hasn't changed, which in this case, is not a bad thing as it stokes childhood memories.

It was a Friday arvo, and we hadn't had lunch yet. A quick google search lead us to Pizzaland. We have eaten many pizzas good and bad and these were far from bad! The Pizzas are great tasting and quality. The atmosphere was quiet with no background music. But that's us being picky. The overall price was ok, a little expensive when you are ordering 3 pizzas with a few extras on each. Definitely would return if we are in the area.

Excellent as always. Been coming here my whole 33 years around the sun and whilst thier doors are open, always will. Geelong staple in my opinion.

Would give 5 stars if the staff was friendly. Guess it was too busy for a nice smile? But the food was marvellous indeed

The food is great here and most of the staff are very friendly. They have a good selection of food. It is very noisy when busy though.

Took the Turkish kebab platter and my friends loved it! Well known for their wood fire pizza, too.

We usually love our food from here but tonight the pizza base was too crusty and tough. The toppings only covered half the base. Very disappointed

We had to wait for a late sailing on the Spirit and was looking for somewhere to eat and found this great little restaurant. We mentioned that we where waiting to board the ship and they had our meals ready and served very quickly. Well we know exactly where to come for a meal next time. Thanks for a great meal.

Great Turkish bread, dips, and pizza. Pizza is loaded with toppings and a nice crispy crust.

Food is good but their mains like parmigiana is ridicolously expensive. It was around $25 then suddenly $34. If 4-5 of you go, suddenly you are paying $150, then theres the card surcharge to finish it off

Dare I say… best pizza in Victoria. We always come here every single time we take a trip to Geelong because the food is just so consistently good.

Staff are very friendly with a plesant srrvice, family oriented atmosphere. Home made woodfire bread 🍞 and dips are delicious. Not a one time visitor 😋 Thank you to all😁🙏

So the paintings on the walls are cheap... yeah so what, the foods good, you can tell the pizza gear is fresh, and it's simple as to why, they do so much the food ticks over nicely! nom nom nom!

We just had our souvalaki sent via uber eats. Virtually no filling. 6 small cubes of hard over cooked chicken, a tiny bit of tomato, and lots of lettuce. Never used to be like that..cost cutting ++ obviously. No value at all..will order elsewhere from now on!

Soggy food, drowned in sauce. I feel sick. Never coming back. Had to get McDonald's after the disgusting meal. Not recommended.

Restaurant with a traditional diner feel to the place. Very spacious and homey. The pizza was excellent and would definitely be a good take away option. Rated this place 3 stars because we had to wait over 40 minutes for our meal with the restaurant being relatively quiet and the seafood marinara didn't really have much seafood.
