Ordered food through Menu Log app. After an hour and a half wait we received our pizza (which was fine) as well as some wedges but the Turkish bread we ordered was very burnt (see photo) and the hummus dip was missing. After following up through the app the restaurant was willing to refund the hummus but no acknowledgement of the Turkish bread that was inedible... pretty disappointing considering we were willing to show photos and simply receive credit to use at the restaurant in the future. Were regular customers but won't order again..

My children and I were very impressed with our dinner tonight. The staff were amazing. The young man who took our order was on point with suggestions and recommendations. He was very polite and so welcoming, thank you very much. The food was sensational. The Margarita pizza was the BEST we've ever had! And then at the end of the night when I went to pay, which by the way was a very affordable dinner for the quality, service and atmosphere, a gentleman jumped out from behind the counter and presented my 2 kids with a rubber ducky each. The kids were so delighted with that, they said that the rubber ducky will be kept as a souvenir of their best dining experience ever!!! Well done Wood ove pizza, well be back again and again, and next time we'll be bringing back the whole entire family. See you soon.

The food here is far beyond it's very reasonable price. This place surprised us both in the quality of food and the friendliness of the staff. Romesh was attentive, helpful and great to talk to. I would highly recommend this place, it really surprised us both.

What can I say? This place is amazing. Chips were crunchy, well seasoned and freshly made. House wine was beautiful and served at room temperature. Clean cutlery and impressive beer garden with relaxing music in the background. Pizza was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients incorporated. I had the gourmet veggie delight and the jalapeños on it made the flavour just pop! Fantastic experience 10/10 👍🏼

I had the pleasure of dining at Woodoven Pizza Geelong on Father's Day, and I can't praise their exceptional service enough. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel truly welcome. They were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make the day special for my dad. The food was delicious, with the wood-fired pizzas being a highlight. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to celebrate. We left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces, thanks to the outstanding service and scrumptious food. A memorable Father's Day indeed!

A great meal. My partner had a pasta, the calbrese and said it was one of the best pasta dishes he's ever had, I had a pizza and both were fantastic! A lovely outside seating area too for nice days. The service was wonderful, really friendly attentive staff - Ramesh took really good care of us.

Ordered 2 pizzas and would have to be the worst quality pizzas i have possibly had in my life. Especially for the price it is criminal to charge more than $3.25 for these pizzas. Struggled to get through the first piece and ended up ordering from another restaurant. Also loved the quick response and follow up abusive phone call from the owner for giving an opinion. This could be the reason there is actually 5 star reviews because they are bullied into giving them.

The best woodfired Pizza in Geelong. Ordered Veg pizza, peri peri chicken pizza, nutella pizza... super duper yumm. Very Friendly staff. Fantastic ambience. Good place to enjoy dinner in their backyard where children can move around and can enjoy and dance on good music. Highly recommended

It's a great place for a weekend hangout session with friends & family. The food here was on point also ask for suggestions the staff is friendly & have great choice in taste. Ambiance is quite well designed & make a chiller atmosphere. Overall a happy experience visiting here. A highly recommended one.

The food was really good and although the exterior looked a bit dodgy the interior was new and pretty. Not many people were there when I went but then again it was a Monday night after school holidays. A great place for a big group to sit at the back. The prices were ok.

Well presented and tasty little slow delivery service but it’s Boxing Day today so I was not surprised when they said 2 hours for delivery.

We've been twice in recent weeks. Both times the food has been fantastic, definitely some of the best pizza in Geelong. The outdoor area is great and the big screen offers plenty of dancing fun for the kids... happy birthday playing was a great touch 👍 The staff are lovely, very attentive and always smiling... nothing seemed like it was trouble. Got a Margherita and a chicken pizza with pepperoni on top and my god… amazing! Arguably the best pizza’s in Geelong. Priced a little more than some other places but flavour was freaking amazing! You guys have a return customer now. 👌🏻

Here's my take on the dishes : - Summer pizza was very good - Peri Peri Pizza was average - Nachos were overcooked and soggy on the inside - We paid 11 dollars for chicken wings and only got 2 pieces and some fries. The dish should be called " fries with wings" not "wings with fries".

This by far the best Pizza outlet I've ever been. It's spacious, clean and has very friendly employees. Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, the outlet was almost empty due to lockdown. But the service was on par with the pre-corona days. Loved it.

Ordered one pizza for delivery off their site and it never arrived. Cost me $40. Email on their website doesn’t even work. Called twice next day for a refund. They said it was my fault I didn’t put in the correct address even though the receipt I screenshot says otherwise!! Was promised an email confirmation for a refund… month later and there’s been no email or refund… Suppose i’ll have to dispute at the bank now! thanks hope you enjoy the $40 Edit: Your reply was very unhelpful. Like I said I called your restaurant and emailed your email address and I stand with my original review. The fact that your staff claim to have not spoken to me or anyone needing a refund is just more reason for no one to visit your restaurant since I spoke to the manager…The least you could do is apologise. This is the worst pizza I have ever had. They put around 1 teaspoon of raw garlic on each slice of my pizza, probably because I complained last time that they didn't put any cheese on the pizza after I paid extra and requested enough to hold the toppings on.

The pizza was okay and the chips lacked flavour. Mainly however, I saw the worker drop a hand towel on the floor, pick it up to dry their hands and immediately touch the food without washing their hands. Not hygiene conscious at all. And I only had 30 mins for my break and most of it was the wait time. Not worth the money or the time.

Wood Oven moved to 1-5 Roy St, beside the old shop. Glad to have Turkish bread topped with pork bacon, nicely brown and crust was still crispy when takeout, yumm 💖.

We put in a phone order for delivery, because we needed to ask for a couple changes to their menu items. I asked for no cream in the pesto pasta and for chicken to be added. The food arrived piping hot and it was delicious. My pasta was heavy on the pesto and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. I recommend trying Original Wood Oven Pizza.
