5 stars as an asian takeaway option in the city centre. Good prices, large variety and good flavour. I rarely get asian food when traveling as I'm often unsatisfied. It's a basic shopfront and while they have some sit down tables inside and out, it has absolutely no ambience but if you want takeaway for lunch or dinner, you'll be satisfied. I've provided a pick of their rice/noodle menu but the Japanese family owners also have a variety of other dishes including bento boxes, sushi rolls, dumpings etc and parking out the front. I'd happily give my money to them for my friday night takeout every week than the subway/Maccas and other corporations around the area. We ordered Singapore fried noodles (voted delicious by the meat eater with us) and plenty of bbq pork. Ohako seafood fried rice (lots of fish cakes and a few prawns), veggies etc and you can customise the level of spice as well. The Nasi goreng seafood rice was good as well as the Me Goreng Seafood noodles. But the highlight was the service and the Ohako fried rice. Next time I'm in Geelong I already know I'm going to try their Char Kwai Teo. And the ost lovely owners, just a beautiful couple cooking beautiful food and providing beautiful service. $15 for a full noodle box of rice or noodles and a smile all within 10 minutes, well why are you still reading this, go give them a try and see for yourself!

Very good nori rolls, we had them bang on 11:30 and they were pretty much made to order. Yum

Nice and polite Asian lady who does everything by herself. Very reasonable prices. Big portions. Delicious meals. We ate in, were so impressed that we ordered two more meals to take away. Also they have a licence to sell and serve byo wine. I wish we have that cafe in our Neigbourhood.

Excellent food and very friendly service, I am so glad this place is right next to my work. Been having lunch there at least once a week for the last 6 months

Gyoza dumplings lightly fried - delicious! Decor a little dated, but clean premises, very friendly owner. Combination with oyster sauce also very nice. Very reasonable prices. Would definitely come back!

Fist thing. From a pedestrian viewpoint you're looking for the sushi noodle bar. (The sign up top has the full name, but you can't see it from the footpath.) This is one of the little gems that make Geelong great. A couple of years ago I was in town after 9pm and grabbing myself a kebab. My partner had requested I look for some handroll, and the lovely lady in here made her some from scratch, in spite of being very close to closing. Visited last night and my partner got the first GREAT wonton soup she's had since leaving QLD. Crisp veggies. Perfect hand made dumplings and a delicious broth. I ordered a spicy chicken noodle dish, and after we sat down the owner came outside and asked if I wanted to try a different dish. I accepted her recommendation (it was $3 more than what I had ordered, but we had already paid and it was a free upgrade) The noodles were perfect. The sauce was divine. The meat and veggies cooked to tender perfection. 11/10 we will be back soon.

friendly staff, good food, served fresh. favourite asian takeaway place in geelong. not the kind of place that will give you small portions either, always left there full and happy as it should be. delicious, definitely consider it if you are out and want something nice.

Came here on the way through Geelong, read the reviews on here and thought we would give it a go. This was hands down some of the best homemade Asian cuisine I have ever had. The lady could see our confusion over what to order and recommended the combo Thai special which was delicious, the pork gyozas and fried pork buns were both homemade and phenomenal. The appearance makes you a little skeptical but like all hole in the wall places the food and service definitely makes up for it. Currently still sitting here full after our meal waiting for some takeaway rice and noodles to take home for a midnight snack. Could not recommend this place enough

Best nasi Goreng I've ever had Edit: 3yrs later I'm still ordering the nasi Goreng from here but one night I was cravings noodles and asked if she would make nasi Goreng with hokkien noodles and she obliged without any concerns. It was amazing. I also tried the fried pork buns too and they were strange but additctive. Id never had anything like them before. Will definitely order again. Love this place
