My husband and I had the most amazing lunch here. The meal was above our expectations. I ordered the Royal Nasi Goreng and my husband the King Salmon. The flavors were out of this world. The service we received from Taylor was second to none. So attentive but gave us our space to enjoy our meal. Will definitely come again.

Nice atmosphere, great staff and the food was awesome. Could have been slightly bigger portions but we are big boys.... Staff always made sure our drinks were not empty and even changed the tv channel for us to watch the rugby.

Had Thursday night steak $25 and Friday lunch $16 - beautiful food and great service - before we take Tassie to Rod Stewart- highly recommend

Attended a function, staff we're good, platter food was good although served without serviettes. Overall the establishment is clean and looks newly renovated. Did find it quite cold and had to wear a jacket inside.

Sorry but the new band room is a no. Extremely odd layout, no one actually knows if the lounge area behind the booth is for the Dj’s or for anyone to go and sit down, floors are always covered with water around the toilets which is a slipping hazard for many drunk people it’s just a matter of time before someone falls. Save your money you’re better off going to bloom, home house or lambys. I honestly thought that the reno was going to get rid of that really weird step in the middle of the dance floor but it’s still there, and it’s so bright as the walls are white now it doesn’t even feel like a nightclub environment. Will not be returning to Geelong Hotel for it’s night life, anymore.

Seriously best pub meal lve had 4 ages loved the staff and premises are spotless would recommend for a great lunch especially the Florence Bar would be amazing for Xmas Function

Delicious food, and is very reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. Definitely going back again soon!

Midweek dinner, the place was really quiet, the food came quickly enough, the drinks were right, all dishes were well prepared and fresh but we didn't quite like the Moreton Bug. The scallops were a hit, though, all in all, not a bad pub and also reasonably priced dinner.

Amazing salmon, the best I have eaten anywhere!!!! It was easy to find a table for our lunch. The service was quick and the food was great!

We booked the rooftop bar for my 40th and I could not recommend this venue more. Everything right from the initial enquiry was professional and polite and no question too silly. On the night the food was incredible and there were many compliments on how yummy it was. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and no detail was missed. Thankyou so much for all you did to make my night perfect!

Had read positive things online so decided to check this place out for lunch. The service was friendly and it’s been beautifully styled. However, the food was awful. We ordered the chicken schnitzel and wagyu beef burger. It’s hard to stuff up these pub staples but somehow this happened. The burger was over cooked (well done when it should be medium) and bread roll was falling apart. The chicken schnitzel was also over cooked and rubbery. The coating had a strange melted butter sauce poured over it which was not pleasant. The side salad (apple slaw) had way too much mint which overpowered the rest of the slaw. The chips were fine. I hate leaving bad reviews and I should stress that the service and atmosphere was good.

Had a lovely night here, had a $25 steak for steak night on Thursdays. Definitely value for money. Steak was cooked beautifully and the service was fast.

Absolutely the best!! - Geelong Hotel quite literally saved my function. A previous venue double booked me and woefully only told me 2 days prior to my event (without an apology!) I contacted Geelong Hotel who went above and beyond to help accommodate me. Sam Briggs is an absolute superstar who re-arranged a fully booked venue to create a wonderful space to enjoy my special night. She organised in 2 days with the chef and staff, catering and wonderful friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made me feel at total ease after what was a very stressful situation. The food was super delicious and everyone had a fantastic night. I highly recommend booking your function here. They are reliable, efficient, professional, friendly and accommodating. Thank you Sam and all that helped on the night. The hospitality industry needs more people like you.

Vegan parma & burger were fantastic! They were the only main vegan options so would love to see more but the food was so good. Staff were incredibly nice too!

Came here last night for a 50th. An amazing venue, beautiful food and your staff a a credit to you. Especially Courtney. Thankyou for a wonderful evening.

Spent an enjoyable Friday night in the Florence bar. Good atmosphere, and although a little on the $ side the meals were nicely presented and very tasty. I recommend the pork belly and crispy calamari. Service was excellent. Will be back.

Their cocktails are excellent. Probably some of the best it town. Their starters are good (wedges etc.) too. However my main (grilled chicken breast with Prosciutto and roast veg) was overcooked and dry, with the prosciutto cooked beyond recognition. Some of the others in our company enjoyed their meals (the sweet potato parmi seemed popular). No soap in the bathroom. The rating I have given reflects my own experience, in consideration of the fairly high price point.

Had a 50th party in the Florence Bar, we were very happy with the service, we loved the food and the quantity was just right. They have great chef. The staff were amazing, very attentive to our every need. And the function room was beautiful and immaculate . Will highly recommend Geelong Hotel to all our friends and family and will definitely return.
