Such a cute place! This floral clock looks lovely and cute indeed and I bet many tourists have been visiting this spot as well. The reason why I love it because it keeps changing every season (if I'm not mistaken) and it is conveniently located by the lake and so near Place du Rhone where you can go shopping and walk to the Old Town. During spring, this place is usually packed. But that's before the pandemic. Nowadays, it might not be that busy because far less tourists are coming to Geneva.

A huge clock with dial decorated with flowers The facade changes with season and is always beautiful. Nothing much except the English garden around it.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful very original clock. We start to lean over it to observe every detail of the flowers. To see if you go to Geneva although I was expecting something more impressive in terms of size. (Original) Belle horloge très originale. On se prend à se pencher dessus pour observer chaque détail de fleurs. A voir si vous passez à Genève même si je m’attendais à quelque chose de plus impressionnant en termes de taille.

Creative piece of work! About 7 minutes walk from Saint Pierre Cathedral. Located in the vicinity of Jet d'Eau. Your little ones will be exited to see this. Background reminds me of the teletubbies.

Located on the junction of a busy street, the flower clock is just a clock made out of flowers. There's nothing really special about the clock and the junction can get quite crowded to take photos, though the real attraction here is the park and lake behind the clock, not just the clock. Be sure to pay a visit to the park when you have seen the clock.

Famous flower clock is one of the main attraction on the city. About 6,500 flowering plants and shrubs are used for the clock face. The plants are changed according to the seasons. Very beautiful with many colours. It is right next to the famous water fountain!

In the heart of the Geneva and very close to the lake of Geneva jet d'Eau there is clock of thousands flower different colours... Because Geneva is city of watches and watchmakers tradition they make some symbol of them... Before it's the biggest on the world now I think it's the second.. There is always much tourists who take photos and videos of the clock... Every part of year clock is in different colour... Better to come earlier in the morning if you want good picture and there is less people or nobody... Because it's one of main city attraction if you in Geneva I recommend to see this clock 👌

Flowers were well kept, clock was nice and obviously a popular attraction to this park :) We saw it on a Tuesday around 1 pm. There is no tickets or wait to "get in", but you might have to wait if you want a photo with nobody else. I asked one guy if he could take a picture of me/partner/dog and he ended up taking 7 photos from different angles - so nice!

This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Geneva. But as a result this place is flooded with tourists lining up to take a picture with the clock. It is a gorgeous, well maintained clock; however, I would not recommend going out of your way to stop by to see it as you likely will not get an unobstructed view

The flower clock is so beautiful, I learnt from the locals that the flower is changed frequently depending on the seasons. There’s a park close to it where you can sit for chit chat, take pictures and soak in the beauty of the city.

The Flower 🌹🌷 Clock ⏰ is good. The Floral Clock, 18 feet in diameter, is a popular attraction at the International Peace Garden, and displays a unique floral design each year.

It's the walkway near the lake, where you get the boat to the English garden. Quite noisy by the road but it's a busy road lol. Sit down, have a picnic if you will but not somewhere many people relax and enjoy the river

The famous Flower Clock in Geneva. Situated at the edge of the garden and easily visible from the road. This is a major tourist hotspot and is free to enter.the gardens are also beautiful and well maintained.

  • 5/5 Ismael A. 1 year ago on Google
The flower clock was created in 1955 by the Service des parcs et promenades, on the initiative of the Geneva Interest Association. The landscape architect Armand Auberson (father of the rose garden in La Grange park, which was laid out 10 years earlier) is the grand master. Several generations of gardeners specializing in mosaiculture have succeeded each other since the creation of the clock to plant and maintain the thousands of flowers and plants that make up the layout. Having become a reference in the world, the flower clock is adapted several times. In 1992, to secure the increasing number of tourists photographing themselves in front of it, it was moved 8 meters inside the park. The latest renovation of 2017 includes an integrated watering system and new hands made and donated to the City by Patek Philippe. The elegant design is close to the original one. The second hand, 2.5 meters long, is undoubtedly the largest in the world. The clock has electronic satellite time adjustment.

Pretty flower clock with really big hands. I'm told it keeps very precise time which is unusual for such large hands. This would be incredibly beautiful in spring & summer with fresh flowers.

A Stunning Floral Oasis Greetings, fellow explorers! Today, I want to share my experience at Jardin The Flower Clock in Geneva, Switzerland. This enchanting botanical garden is home to a wide variety of gorgeous flora that left me in awe. The Flower Clock, which is a popular tourist attraction, was a must-visit for me and did not disappoint. First and foremost, the ambiance at The Flower Clock is absolutely stunning. The vibrant colors of the flowers coupled with the tranquil atmosphere made for a truly mesmerizing experience. The garden was very well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The variety of flowers on display is truly impressive, and I was fascinated by the clock, which is made entirely of flowers! However, there are a few areas where The Flower Clock could improve. The seating options were somewhat limited, which made it difficult to sit and fully appreciate the garden's beauty. Additionally, the signage could be improved, especially for visitors who do not speak the local language. These are minor areas for improvement, but they would make a big difference in enhancing the visitor experience. Despite these small criticisms, I highly recommend The Flower Clock to anyone visiting Geneva. The beauty and tranquility of this botanical garden make it a must-see attraction. Furthermore, I am confident that the owners could improve the visitor experience by addressing these minor issues, which would make the garden an even more enjoyable place to visit. In conclusion, Jardin The Flower Clock in Geneva is a stunning oasis that left a lasting impression on me. While there are a few areas where improvements could be made, I highly recommend this attraction to anyone looking for a peaceful escape amidst beautiful floral arrangements. I would certainly love to visit again in the future and encourage other travelers to do the same!

It’s pretty there. I went by myself after visiting the Jet d’eau. If you get tired, there are a lot of seats in the open. You can sit in some parts of grass and there is a big outdoor water fountain you can allow your children to play around. I didn’t see much flowers though, but I didn’t walk too far.
