Service was fast but my queso dip wasn't even hot at all. Burger was thin but tasty. Fries are hand cut.

This was a first time visit for us at Rayz Cafe, and we were impressed. The environment is welcoming, spacious and clean. The service was prompt and friendly. Additionally, the food we chose off of the menu was served up quickly, appropriate temperature and had a very appealing taste. Will we visit Rayz again you may ask…..most definitely we will, is the answer!

This was our first visit to Rayz, we came on a recommendation of family that has eaten there many times. On the menu they listed “Lake Erie perch at market price “ . I asked and agreed to the price ($24) . I’m 61 years old and I have been eating Lake Erie perch my whole life. I don’t know what it was that they served me, but it was a single piece of Fish and quite large 8 to 10 inches across and 4 inches wide. I suspect it was cod or ocean perch, but definitely not Lake Erie perch. Further more it was very dark and grease soaked. This happens when the oil in the deep fryer gets old and has had to many heat cycles. I made it clear that I was not happy and did not want to eat whatever it was. It was removed from our bill and I was ok with that. Everything else about our visit was good. But honestly I would not go out of my way to eat there again. My suggestion to Ray is change your deep fryer oil more often and serve what you advertise. Genoa is writhing a couple miles of Lake Erie and a million or so REAL perch. Get some !

Had never been here before. Wife and I decided to give them a try. Nice place, clean, good service. All downhill after that. Onion rings were very greasy. I had a burger and fries. Fries were hand cut and delicious. Hamburgers are better at McDonald's. Chicken ballz were dry, chewy and overcooked. I had one draft beer they charged $8 for, wife had one whiskey sour $6. One burger, fries, onion rings and one order chicken balls,, add drinks and the bill was $49 and change. We won't be back.

We went to Rayz because we heard good things.. Let's being with the size of the tables and booths.. Four people at the little table where almost 50% of the real-estate is taken by the napkin dispenser and condiments. The food was okay? I guess? I had regular ballz with a medium garlic sauce and my brother had pearch and fries.. Wife and 14 year old had regular plain ballz and potato skins. I sent back my food because it was borderline cold. And my brother had him take his back because it wasn't cooked all the way through and was slimey and his fries were mushy. I got my food back and it was still warm. The plain ballz and potatoes skins were hot. Then after waiting about 7 minutes we finally had to track someone down to get the check. Overall experience was not good. We live in Wisconsin and were in Toledo for a family visit. We probably won't be driving out of our way to go here again.

A seat yourself kinda place. Lots of menu selections. We ordered potato skins with cheese, bacon and sour cream. These were just potatoes cut in half served with the toppings. The chef needs to learn how to use salt by actually using salt. Needless to say they were bland and very dry. My husband ordered a gyro and two chili dogs. The gyro was just ok and the chili dogs tasted like the chili sauce sat on the steam table to long. I ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken which was a $1 up charge. It came to the table with gyro meat it was immediately sent back to the kitchen. When I finally got my salad the chicken was burnt and I had to pick the burnt parts off. Note to the Chef: Don't send out a burnt piece of meat. The patron would wait alittle longer for a fantastic dinner which would redeem the first mistake. Waitress could not keep our drinks filled we had to go up to the bar ourselves. Bathrooms were moderately clean but the garbage cans did not have lids on them which is a health code violation. My husband had coffee while he waited on me to finish my salad. The coffee cup was stained inside and had a chip missing from the rim another health code violation even though it was a small chip still a violation. The waitress knew how upset we were with the whole experience and tried to make it right by taking $2 off the bill. Not sure why all the mistakes because the restaurant was not busy since it was after the lunch rush. If you decide to eat here hopefully you'll have a better experience than us.

The service was a good speed for a sit down place and the staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They were really good about asking if we needed refills and asking how the food was. The food was good. The Carolina gold BBQ sauce is a good option for someone who likes honey mustard. We had a few drinks which made it a bit pricier.

Food was good. Place was very clean. Nice atmosphere. Fairly inexpensive and had a good kids meal selection. Lots of the screens for entertainment. Sit at booths, tables, or at the full bar. Limited parking out front but plenty in the back with a entrance there also.

Great chicken chunks. Honestly the best I have ever had. They were not over done and dried out. The flavor of the sauce was great. Try the garlic parm!!!! Comet balls were the way to go. Will definitely be going back for more.

We had a family get together two days ago, and our waitress- Roxanne - was on top of her game. For our large party of 12, the food came out fast, hot, and tasty. The kids had fun spending their quarters on the kiddie machines, and the atmosphere was—as always—super enjoyable for the adults. 😁 As for our recent trip today at Rayz we stopped to play QUEEN OF HEARTS. Mel was our server and she was “ Mel on the spot!” We also lunched and had the Comet Balls with garlic parm sauce! Oh my goodness, they were delicious! The hand breaded mushrooms are also a “go to” when at Rayz! Freshly breaded and fried- you can’t beat that! As always, the BIER is always at a very comfortably cool temp for serving!❄️ It’s a “ Win-Win” in our book! ENJOY YOUR VISIT! Prost! 🇺🇸
