Beautiful piazza, and the surrounding buildings are gorgeous with arts and the fountain itself is also get lots of kids attention. From here you can walk into the alley to explore more old buildings, they are pretty packed together. Lots of restaurants and bars along the way till the harbour.

Piazza de Ferrari, though a renowned spot in Genova, revealed a somewhat ordinary charm during our daytime visit. The square, while undoubtedly significant, didn't immediately stand out. However, there's a sense of anticipation that the ambiance might transform into something more enchanting when the lights adorn the square at night. Consider experiencing Piazza de Ferrari during both the day and evening to capture its potential magic after dark.

Nice place to sit down and take a break from a long day walking around the old town. Nice and cool around the fountain. As you can see in the photos and videos we were lucky that it wasn't too busy that day. Read more at Raif & Vy Travel Blog.

Very beautiful square of Genova. You see all the old buildings and the center is the beautiful water fountain. It highlights the square. The old buildings and structures give an amazing look to this city. The place is clean and maintained. Must visit. There is also a metro station which connects Genova Princip station as well as Genova Brignole station which makes it easy to access. But walking to this place from Genova Brignole station is really a nice thing to do !

Nice square in Genova. Near the stock exchange and other key buildings and a great spot to relax and observe people. Lot up nicely during the Christmas season as well.

The nicer piazza in Genova for me. It is big, full of history with the theater and the old stock building and the magnificent Palazzo Ducale.

a beautiful fountain smack in the centre if Genoa, absolutely lovely spot to sit and just wonder whats the point of life. have a coffee nd sit listening to the cascading water. it's free and doesn't close, just be wary of peak tourist season, it'll be busy at minimum

Great place. I don't recommend visiting around New Year's Eve, because the fountain is closed. I believe the experience is better when it's open.

Spectacular historical & architecturally significant buildings surround the Piazza de Ferrari, which is at the centre of Genova, and next to the incredible old town. Most busses stop at the Piazza, making it easy to access. The old town and harbour are a 5 to 15 minute walk, with numerous excellent restaurants nearby. Highly recommended to visit!

Piazza De Ferrari is the main square of Genoa, and the commercial, financial and economic hub of the city. Beautiful fountain in the Center surrounded by old buildings. Lovely place to take pictures or sit around along the fountain and people watch. The square is dedicated to Raffaele De Ferrari, Duke of Galliera, politician and banker. With an irregular shape, due to successive urban interventions, which led to the unification of two adjoining areas, the square is part of the ancient sestiere (district) of Portoria, and occupies an area of about 11,000 square meters.

Beautiful area, this circle water and old, colorful old buildings are so cool! Only thing bars close early. if the bars are closed early go to this center and meet with local young people to enjoy the city 😄Otherwise go to sleep. Most of the Restaurants close their kitchen arpund 10pm. This should change. they should close a bit late in this big Turistic city in the summer perioda

My visit to Genova was very fantastic. I visited a lot of places and fell in love with almost the whole of Genova. This piazza in particular was absolutely stunning for me and the pictures are perfect. There are restaurants around and many more things to see.

Beautiful square right in the heart of Genova. Lack of green though.

Beautiful piazza and fountain, centrally located in Genova. A great meeting spot for locals and tourists alike, clean and safe, relaxing. There are several attractions nearby, including the Palazzo Ducale museum (which is right across), Christoper Columbus’ house or Teatro Carlo Felice opera house which are both about five minute walk from here. One could also walk in either direction from the piazza, towards the waterfront (Porto Antico) or towards Brignole railway station along the Via XX Septembre, if you want to catch up on some shopping!

As the hotel clerk described to me, this pizza is the center of the center of Genoa. Definitely worth a visit to see the fountain and the architecture of the older buildings. It was an interesting mix of old and new.

Most attractive location for all tourists coming to this place. The beauty is that you see all European fashion roaming around the streets here(woman wearing classic clothes).

I've been to many cathedrals but the thing I enjoyed the most is the paintings and the art work that has been done. I was surprised to see the art work in good condition considering the fact that I felt the whole Genova as a less clean city when comparing with Milan. It's open almost all day without asking for any entrance fees or something. It felt very calm the moment I entered the cathedral which I loved so much

(Translated by Google) It is a fascinating square. The equestrian monument to Garibaldi, the fountain and the surrounding buildings make it a place of impact in the historic center of the city. A stone's throw from the ancient port, along the narrow and characteristic alleys, the caruggi.
