I really liked this hotel. Yes, it is quite old and slightly away from town, but the room was wonderful. It had a very comfortable bed, a desk with chair as well as two reading chairs. The room was very big for the price paid. It was clean, the wifi was good as was the shower. The free breakfast was not very appealing, but there is a great food court - the China Town - nearby.

Old hotel but big room only facilities need to improve. Probably nrw flat screen tv. The wifi ok. Overall average

i grew up and lived in alor setar for 22 years, i came back to home town for a holiday after a long time, so decided to take this hotel as it was well known hotel once upon a time, i understand it is an old hotel but disappointed due to the following issues; reception staffs not friendly, no proper uniform, no dustbin around the hotel lobby or cafe, breakfast was bad, no additional coffee in the room, No hot water, i was freezing last night plus phone in the room not working for an emergency, This is the second time i am staying here within a week, i hope the management can revive the amenities and give a presentable look to the premises. Only plus point is lot of restaurants nearby I will come and stay here again.

Run down, no aircond in the lobby. Tv not functioning. The elevator n the aircond is quite new.

Location is not known by the local, no restaurants nearby, breakfast is included but choices are very less. Shower in the room is not satisfied as the water pressure is too low.

Stay for 2 days 1 night. Wasnt a great experience for me. Hotel doesnt provide water purifier, breakfast meal was okay okay and room quite old. But comfort enough to stay in short term

Having to stay in the room 504 is my regrets decision while staying in this hotel. TV channels are glitched every time & the furniture is quite old and there is no space in the bathroom plus the sink is blocked and smiles bad. Need major renovations if this hotel wants to stay relevant in this industry.

Dull entrance to lobby, smelly room, smelly toilet, poor hygiene, torn bed sheet and spoilt furniture. Will not be coming back to this hotel.

Rooms are adequate in size and normal breakfast. Just that TV might not be functioning.

Very old hotel room, while the staffs are trying to help, the room is dated, dark and the airconditioner is not strong enough that it takes 1 day to cool a room

Old but Gold. My room very netty and big. Minus 1 star bcs that day I cannot use the swimming pool.

The room rate is quite reasonable. It is located near a shopping mall and the state mosque. Only 1 lift was working at time of our visit while the bathroom tap was slow. The TV could not be switch on.

Big, clean and comfortable room. Located in town centre within walking distance of shopping complex, hospital and food stalls. A bit old and run down. The fridge and TV remote control in my room were not working.

This is an old hotel, the management are smart in deciding the right room rate. The room are larger, but thing inside are not in good order.

For those who want to find last minute room this will be the best place. The place are build like many years ago and it is worn. ▪︎Air conditional not work ( old style ) not even cool. Pretty like fan instead. ▪︎The bath tub are big but once you on the water dont be surprize. The water are like swamp water. ▪︎No breakfast even you are entitled for it. Old tv, main and toilet door problem.. really difficult to open the door. Termites in 4th floor. Thin blanket. Feel a bit uncomfortable.

The facilities are quite old, this is an old hotel so cant expect too much, but i like the service especially the guy who incharge at the cafe for breakfast, overall the service provided is ok just the room are quite old

Best room for ur money..!! Lot of car park, near to shop... Not bad for famly cause they have a pool...!!

So bad! No teaspoon in room. They said Astro channel available in the room but it's a big liar! One channel only.... TV 3. Menu for breakfast... very disappointed. One staff only give a service.... and no eggs. Can u believe the staff say they don't prepared eggs for breakfast!
