The queue is very long. Expect at least 3 hours wait. But the doctor is really good. That’s the only reason I come back to the same clinic. Quite surprise that they pay attention to the live comment in google map (because I complained something), and the doctor made effort to explain and clarify. Respect. 🫡 Hopefully they invest in a ticket software/apps so the patient can check online on the “current number” and estimate the queue and come back when the time is near. It will be more efficient.

Extremely long queue (30mins just to get a cleanser over the counter without any consultation) due to poor process. Any other clinic would have been quicker, smoother. Staffs attitude were indifference to the customers. You could see they have plenty of staffs but somehow they're very ineffective.

He is helpful at answering all my doubts. As a university student, the laser treatment has good-valued pricing compared to other places (RM400/treatment for both sides). I like the fact that I am not bonded to any packages and the number of treatments is solely based on personal condition.

The infrastructure provided is very poor, first of all no parking for the customers, secondly they don't operate by appointment.Need to walk in and wait for long hours. I have hyperpigmentation issue and the young doc unable to determine the cause of the problem and suggested the laser treatment. The laser treatment room is congested,the staff asked me to wash my face by giving me the cleanser, i totally did not aspect this for the amount that i paid RM1030 and u need to wash face by your self?the bed opss it's not really a bed..not enough leg room, by the am not tall i can't imagine of some taller on that bed/chair. In the same treatment room, there is another doc(the old Dr Lim ) consulting other patients..when u sit having your laser treatment. U could hear other people's problem. First time being here myself but had a TON of family friends recommending this place. Obviously lived up to its hype! First of all, place is super crowded so I do recommend coming early in person to get an appointment first. They do have a WhatsApp number, so you can try that too. Wait time is 1-2 hours, but you can always grab a quick bite nearby while waiting. Consulted directly with Dato Dr Lim Huat Bee, and one glance he knew right away what’s up with my skin. Experience does tell. He is also a great listener and is willing to answer a lot of the questions I had. Also had a pleasant peeling session with Amanda. She is super friendly and we exchanged a good conversation. Had a bit stinging on my face, but beauty is pain right? Overall a really good patient experience. Also they’re moving to a brand new building in a few months and its pretty fancy 😉 definitely recommend dropping by if you are visiting Penang and really need to up your skincare game

Dr Lim is a very attentive doctor, and he makes you feel comfortable. the clinic is well maintained, and you get to see the doctor quickly. the medicine he prescribes and their creams work very well too. I came here when I had really bad acne and his medicine worked wonders for me. it’s better than other chain clinics in msia, for sure (having tried other clinics). their service and quality more than justifies their price tag- which is on the higher end of things.

I usually don't do reviews but I Dr Lim products are too good to not leave a review. I have problem with pigmentations and acne on my skin. Started getting treatment from Dr Lim In December. Got only one laser treatment, and after that it was just medication, both oral and cream. My skin has never been this clear and glowing. the most human efficient clinic I've been to. huge crowd and they go through everyone fast, almost rushing. the clinic means business, every cent you pay is for the result, speed and quality, and a bit of advice. Dr Lim Jr and Sr are both definitely professionals and know what they are doing. What the clinic as a whole are lacking is definitely some quality interaction and additional advice other than what's in the process and what was asked. Nurses are helpful and can be friendly, if you take the first step. Otherwise they autopilot and you're just that daily task on the conveyor belt. The payment method is cold hard cash. An ideal customer is someone who knows exactly what you want, ask a lot and cash prepared, although they do take deposits and give the slot to someone else while you scatter to the nearest atm machine. it's their way of telling you they are not running a charity, it's business from start to finish. Bedside manner is not the best. At the end of the day, the result is what matters. take care of your skin.

If visited with consultation, the wait time tends to be extended around 3-4 hours overall from consulting to treatment to taking medication, indicating high patient load. The restroom facilities is lacking in hygiene and convenience, as they lack proper hand soap (only a communal bar of soap is provided, not a soap pump dispenser) and there is no toilet paper. Considering a substantial patient base, the doctor should just spend a little bit to enhance the overall customer experience and do his part to serve its customer better by providing proper toilet facilities.

I commented aloud thatcprople in Penang are so nice and helpful!! At 9 am when two ladies from Penang were called in I inquired as to why I was'nt ? This was to be my first inquiry of altogether 6 other queries. This was first time staff informed me that Dr. Lim Huat Bee comes in only between 9 to 10am.I reiterated in response they should have told me that earlier .At 9:30 I inquired if Dr Lim was in yet? They then informed me Dr.Lim was conducting surgery. At 9:45 I requested if I could leave the clinic to buy water as I was a diabetic. I noticed the absence of a water cooler. Staff told me to wait and rushed to the phone. I waited. At 9:55 I suggested that I make an appointment for when Dr. Lim was availible and not having surgery. Staff rushed to phone him again. By 10 am my name was called and I was urshered to wait outside Room 1. Throughout the entire 1 hour episode there was no discussions that I was from Singapore and demanded to rush. Like everyone it does not matter where I originate. To comply with 2-3 hour wait time like EVERY person in that waiting room was expected . To insert and support lies with heresay from "other patients say of you " is a lowdown trick we decry. I am a journalist . I have witnessed this often in false news reporting and hope never to have to do it. My account should be enough.

The worst skin clinic i have been to. If u have eczema or any skin conditions, pls be careful with the prescriptions that this doctor prescribes. I developed tsw(TOPICAL STEROID WITHDRAWAL) after using steroid creams that he prescribed claming they were "moisturisers" and i can apply daily, morning and night on my face and body due to no labels on the creams. Luckily i stopped after using it for only 6 months because my skin got worst after that. Pls be very careful with the creams you are buying from this clinic. I went through hell and back because of tsw and got hospitalised three times due to infections.

Was recommended to go here from my aunty. I was having some really itchy skin that wouldn't get better. I tried so many creams, from so many different doctors, used so much steroids until my skin was looking horrible. I showed Dr. Lim my problem and asked him I wanted treatment without any steroids. He carefully explained to me my skin condition, and offered me his in-house pharmacist compounded cream (which was steroid free). Dr. Lim has a large range of their own in-house pharmacist created creams, this allows him to control what goes in, how much of each ingredient is needed that is suitable for each of his patients. I applied the creams and a special wash he gave me, after 5 days the itch is gone, I can sleep better and my skin looks better! He give me a cream to maintain with to make sure I am moisturised enough. If you have itchy skin and can't sleep at night, try and see him! Price is not cheap, but worth it cause you get cured!

Sure the meds and cream may be pricey but they definitely do the job. All you need is a little patience and compliance. I have very VERY oily skin and I had to go on tablets for 2 years everyday and now, I'm happy to say that the sebum secretion is minimal. After the oil was under control, soon the pimples stopped appearing as well. I hardly get any pimples today. Only wish I went to Dr Lim sooner or I wouldn't have had to deal with acne for 10 years. For sure it takes some time to get the pimples under control. The acne didn't become so bad overnight anyway. Dato Dr Lim Huat Bee is very professional, patient and precise in his treatment. I had severe sunburnt and was diagnosed as allergy to UV. My exposed area like my face, neck and arms were super itchy, inflamed and was swollen for the past two and half months. Seen others drs but was not getting any better until I went to consult Dr Lim and with the prescriptions given by him my skin immediately calm down and the itch went away and since then I am on the way to almost complete recovery. I brought my poor student to see Dr Lim as he had such bad eczema and had seen so many doctors. He had so many strong steroid injections from other doctors and so I was worried for him. Luckily Dr Lim was able to prescribe a diluted and mixed cream with less steroids and he managed to get so much better. Now he is much better and only needs washes and creams from Dr Lim without steroids and he is still better.

There are so many patients coming in to be treated by the lim doctors. I feel like the clinic is understaffed. No one can stand this much of a workload.
