Nice location but unfortunately, totally, the water issue is totally give me the most bad experience in my entire life. City centre, not full occupancy and yet experience low water pressure/no water on the 2nd day. Various lame issue is given. Totally unacceptable.

The ONLY good thing is the location, and that's where the good ends. I used to stay at this hotel when I was living in Malaysia 5 years ago & would visit Penang regularly. It has changed ownership and it's obvious. I didn't want to believe the bad reviews of my favourite affordable hotel. The hotel is in absolute disrepair. Everything prople have written about water pressure, stained/old sheets & towels, and broken faucets was my experience. There are 2 phone #'s you can call/text when something is wrong. You will be completely ignored by the man. The woman did her best to help me by giving me a new room when the bathroom faucet was broken and the sliding door to the balcony could not be locked securely. I returned home at night and when I turned on the light, I saw a BED BUG scurry across the bedside table. I had to get a room at another hotel at midnight. I will never stay here again.

DONT EVER GO HERE! Nasty hotel if you can see the video, bad attitude and quality of customer service, which said " the cleanliness is the laundry responsibility, not ours" Bad quality air conditioner, keep dripping. Also, require tenants to come back before 9 pm (in what word there's a hotel like this) or else will be locked outside. A BIG NO NO

Fantastic location in Georgetown. We had a tiny balcony overlooking the rooftops which was lovely. A basic, clean and comfortable room.

Dont ever consider this hotel! Location wise, strategic to go around Georgetown BUT the streets have pop up booths every evening. So so loud until past midnight. To make it even worse, the room and towel smells!!!! If you drive here, its so hard to find parking and they will tow/clamp your car around here.

The only thing good about this hotel is it's location. Everything else is bad. Dont bother booking and staying here, it's a waste of time.

Bad hygiene(bedsheets and towels covered with dirt and there were no replacements), facilities(air conditioning leakage, malfunctioning hair dryer) and the staff is really rude. When I requested the staff to help, she is not willing to fix the problem. I directly checked out without staying a night. Overall, my experience at Armenian Hotel is very unpleasant. I will not come back to this hotel for sure.
