Awful customer service, definitely could have handled things better. I had just walked into the store with my dad in the wheelchair earlier this afternoon, where instead of simply telling us they don't carry spare parts of any other brand (which I'm assuming is the case - giving the benefit of the doubt here), the salesman kept repeating that they do not and will not repair any other wheelchair brands, even if they did have the parts. For context, the wheelchair my dad was using did not have any brand, and the part we were searching for was merely a footrest pedal. Now I don't know if this is their company policy but if it is, I find it very odd, to say the least. This whole experience could have been avoided had the salesman just mentioned earlier on the phone call between them and my dad that they only repair/service the wheelchairs that they sell, and not informed us of this only when we had already walked into the store. Edit : *Disclaimer; I'm not writing this to slander or defame anyone, I just think I ought to speak up on some things.* It has been a week since I posted a review about my own experience with this shop. Not once have I asked anyone to 'review-bomb' or give this shop negative ratings, and even in my own review, I spoke concisely and was fairly neutral in my stance. This review of mine was never intended to undermine all the other good reviews, or all the good things that they have done. I was simply posting as an individual, of my own bad experience. The things that don't sit well with me are 1) the fact that my father had to be pulled into this mess by being sent threats to his personal number, and 2) the fact that his name is still on a public post. I can accept how some may think this is unnecessary, because I very much think the same. However, I don't think it's fair for my father to be on the receiving end of such disrespect, and until an apology has been issued, this review still stands true to me, and I can't take it down. Once again, I do believe this whole situation could have easily been prevented, and even if things do spiral like it has, an apology could and would mend certain relationships. Thanks for reading :)

I survey whole market and found out that this Reliance is really the cheapest price in penang. I order the patient hospital bed and ward screen and bath chair in morning, delivered in afternoon. All items total less than RM2000 only! The bed send by their own van and their technician setup n explain very well. The shop staff also very friendly and good service. 👍🤗

I was looking around for a hospital bed supplier in Penang, with a good reputation, a non cutthroat and had years of experience in after sales service. I found Reliance, and was pleasantly surprised when the purchase was delivered in about 1 hour, same day. The price point was within my budget, and the quality was excellent, no issue. Dealing with Charity projects with Reliance is a great pleasure. They give special prices when bulk buy and for donation purpose. Great effort and initiatives in the North Malaysia region. I am extremely disgusted by some youngsters who target them and write disgusting fake reviews about them. They have donated a lot to the poor & needy with contribution in equipments since early 2007. Thats nearly 15 years and counting.

On 11.6.22, my family went to Reliance and bought 1 electric bed less than RM3k only. Service very pleasant. We need it very urgently, and they sent on same day, within 2hrs only. Was looking for a commode chair recently, but could not find one with the quality and built i was happy with until a good friend from a healthcare services recommended Reliance. i popped in to check, they do carry a few types and i found one that met my dad's requirement (and reasonably priced too) after reviewing with the salesperson, who was quite informative, and more than accommodative to answer all my queries. i was not able to fit the transfer commode chair into my car, so asked if they can deliver instead. He said ok, same day and no extra charge...great! In the later afternoon, the technician delivered the item, took time to explain and demo the how's and dont's to my dad and i. in all, it was a good satisfactory experience, and i will definitely recommend this shop if anyone is looking for medical products. Don't trust the rating on Google! The service is very very bad. The young salesman is super rude. He can't even speak politely. I don't know how customer can go there and buy their products. On 15.2.2020 my fam and I came all the way frm Parit Buntar (PRK) to Penang island to visit Reliance.Utterly pleased with the service given. Explanation of their products was done vry informatively. Staff were eager to serve and explain ; a far cry from many other place we hav visit. Other places, they just shove d product in ur face and force you to buy. But I find at Reliance they take their time, and never force people to purchase. Thumbs up. Because we were impressed with their in-depth knowledge of medical equipments, we bought a beautiful premium electric bed from Taiwan. And even we live in Parit Buntar, they delivered on same day itself! Wow. That's really fast ya! Mind you, bed delivered with their technician coming personally to house. I am very impressed. I think my 5 stars is justified, very good service. Recommended to all who need equipments, be it hospital beds, or wheelchairs or tongkat or commodes.

Purchased two equipment on two different days which were reasonably priced. On Day 1 ((18-7-19), the staff who attended to me was very FRIENDLY and KNOWLEDGEABLE. He was able to guide me on the different equipment available that suited me. Purchased an equipment and had to come back on another day as I did not have enough cash for the second equipment. Understand that he is the TECHNICIAN . I recommend potential customers to see him for advice. On Day 2 (20-7-19), visited the shop but the Technician was not in. So another staff by the name of NAVIN attended to me. He was totally the opposite of the Technician. He was very very RUDE. Totally UNTACTFUL. I wonder how Reliance can employ such a Sales staff. What a Shame. He was not so knowledgeable of the products. VERY SARCASTIC PERSON. When I inquire about the purpose of using a tool that was included in the product, he told me to use my COMMON SENSE on how to use that tool. Thats how he speaks to a customer! I had to controlled myself. I just paid up (and quickly got out from the shop) for the equipment that the Technician had reconmmeded me earlier. YES, the equipment are resonably priced.Reconmmended. YES, I recommend you to let the TECHNICIAN attend to you. NO, DO NOT LET NAVIN ATTEND TO YOU.!!! Finally, Mr Navin you need to change your attitude towards customers. You are a Sales personnel.
