Visit here for their signature Bak Kut Teh, the portion is big, price is reasonable, the workers there are friendly, the environment is cosy and comfortable, air-conditioned. the broth is tasty and rich, but it could be slightly oily. Might need to wait during peak hours.

If you're looking for good bak kut teh, look no further than this shop! The bak kut teh was simply outstanding. The pork ribs were so tender they practically fell off the bone, and the broth was rich, flavorful, and aromatic, with just the right amount of seasoning. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the fried shallots and scallions added a lovely crunch to the dish. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they took the time to explain the dish to me and answer any questions I had. They were passionate about serving their customers the best food possible. Overall, I would highly recommend this bak kut teh shop to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious meal. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the overall experience is unforgettable and I will definitely revisit again!

    - Place is kinda hard to find since it looks like a home. - Place is very clean and homey - Service was outstanding! - Service was very attentive (Brought out warm water when he saw we had to take medicine). - Dish recommendations were also on point. - What we ordered : 1. Signature Bak Kut Teh (RM 32) - the medicine and herbs are not overpowering the flavor but still has a good flavor. 2. Pork Belly with Salted Fish (RM 33) - Bomb Diggity! Very delicious and full of flavor. 3. Sauteed Cabbage with Superior Soy Sauce (RM 22) - Claimed by the restaurant unofficially “the best cabbage in Penang”. I don’t know if it’s the best, but it’s definitely up there. 4. Chrysanthemum Tea - Will be coming back again for sure.

Staff is very friendly and comes to check on you often. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. Price is reasonable. However they serve a little slow and soup is on the lighter side.

One of the best BKT that we had tasted thus far. Both soup and dry versions were delicious. Meat was tender and fresh. You tiao and fried yuba were super crispy too. The wulong tea is also a must try. Service crew was attentive and helpful. We managed to get a reservation and order placed via WhatsApp. Food was served fast. Soup and tea were top up without the need to request for it. We definitely visit this place again in future.

Bak kut teh tasted standard and alright, the garlic bak kut teh version was good. However, service was very very slow. Price on the high side. Extremely limited roadside parking. No wheelchair access.

Restaurant is very clean and cool. Love the cute tea sets. Unfortunately the meat in the pot is not much. We had medium size pot for 2 people, only 2 little slices of pork tripes. They can fill the soup another time.

Came here for the first time. Tried both the dry version and the soup bak kut teh. The soup version is nice, but if the taste is slightly more bitter with more herbal smell, I would love it more. The dry version on the other hand is not very similar with most of the dry version out there. The taste is some what garlicky. I kinda like the dry version here. The portion is small but reasonable for the price. Decent amount of meat inside. Extra soup is provided ONCE for free. The restaurant has limited seatings on the ground floor. And with all tables quite close with each other and an enclosed environment, the space can get very noisy at times. A lot of sound and echoes just surrounded the small space. The restaurant has air conditioning. Parking is limited at around 6-7pm but ease up at around 8pm.

The bak kut teh is delicious and full of the herbal taste a must to try. The rest of the dishes is a must to try as well. However, do take note of the new location, I went to the old location not knowing of the change in address

Bakuteh was delicious. Soup was outstanding. Similar to klang Valley style. Meat was tender and soft. 4 stars The vege just so so. But it is great to eat along the bakuteh. 2 stars Unfortunately, the service was way below par. (1) I asked for refill soup but end up never refill for us, although I reminded few times. (2) send me my order with some ingredients missing. If I was not alert, I may be paying same amount for 50% of lesser ingredients.

Meat was fresh and didn't have strong smell. Soup was tasty and not too oily, but not hot enough. Maybe because I brought a pot and they expected me to reheat the dish. The dry bak kut teh was interesting and nice. With a hint of spice from the cili padi. Will try again. Clean and cool.

Great Bak Kut Teh in Penang with personable service! The young staff in the shop were friendly and attentive. Came to recommend us what to eat and suggested the 综合 Bak Kut Teh (medium) so our family of 4 can order other dishes to try. The soup is slightly sweet with a mild herbs taste, goes well with rice. The vegetable dish we bought had very crunchy 虾米, it was the dark horse of the meal! Not in picture: we ordered this meat patty which was full of flavours. That was a rice stealer too. The chrysanthemum, goji berries, 冰糖 drink was good too.

i came to try this bak kut teh after much highly rated review, with expectations but unfortunately abit disappointed. Firstly the food tasted alright the chicken, the vege, shallot rice but the bak kut teh is more suitable for those who dislike herbal taste. to me it tasted not much like how bak kut teh should taste like as it doesn't have much of the herbal taste. its more like a pork rib soup with very thick oil on the surface of the soup. price is average, service is good with outdoor & indoor air-conditioned seating. those who op for lighter hint of herbal taste can try but for those who like the original kind of bak kut teh might be disappointed.

Having dinner here for the first time. I gonna say this place really really good. I ordered for two bak kut teh, one dry and another one soup plus a vege. The stuff very nice and give very professional advices which to choose, how to order, etc. The soup one i feel ok ok only, the taste not really strong, but the pork (三层肉) really WOW! The dry one very tasty, i like it so much. The vegetable also tasty, impressed! I order two two types of rice all good! The price is reasonable too. Overall, really good bak kut teh, must try in penang. Highly recommended. P/s: They also got the best Bak Kut Teh in Malaysia from 8TV Ho Chiak show.

Super yummy Bak Kut Teh - tried both dry version (with Yam) and the classic version (very tasty and balance broth!) Both taste exceptional! Services are super friendly, would definitely need to come when you are in Penang! Highly recommended ! But do note that Ban Kut Teh are available at dinner time only.

The Bak Kut Teh soup is pretty good. Just wish they had added more meat. Also feel a bit thirsty after eating, maybe due to the MSG. Overall it is still good food at reasonable price.
