Good vibe. Chill place. If you're looking for a place in penang to just chill and maybe get some work done. This would be the recommended place. Their menu focus more on pasta but there still a good variety of other food items. 😋 to value add to the place. The staffs are extremely polite and friend!!!

They expanded their business and change name from soul cafe to soul restaurant & bar, with added in dinner menu. They come out with membership as attached. They no longer serve sky juice as their change their business style, either u order paid mineral water(rm5) or paid Italy mineral water(rm15), however, the manager/PIC still serve us mineral water foc. Spaghetti taste is still the same, dessert still best. Food portion okay. One thing is that the ventilation not good, the exhaust system not that strong, the kitchen frying food, and u can smell it and the smell stain on your body and clothes. The overall design and environment is romantic and good if with good ventilation.

I've been to this cafe many times in the previous years but now they've moved to next door with a new concept & menu. Previously, they're more on a specialized pasta 🍝 cafe, but now they're more to a restaurant bar with lots of appetizer & other main dishes to order. The food preparation takes up a lot of time, and the waiting is quite long. Our order is not well organized, 2 main dishes were served & we almost finished it then only the last one came. The salad was served last. The serving order was a bit unorganized. Their price is also on the higher side but food taste good.

Food are nice... Service is great, the staff allow us to sit in early even not reach the opening hours... They do recommend their food to us if you need them to introduce...

Menu are more to pasta although there are some other selections. Ordered a green pasta and BBQ chicken hamburger. Taste for pasta is yummy but hamburger are a bit plain to me. Overall food is good. Service is excellent as well.

10/10 experience here! The pastas were all so good! We got two types of pasta and chicken and it was so tasty! The service is great! Coffee and tea is also really good! A great little lunch spot tucked in between shophouses!

The space is not big but the environment and vibe is good. Suggest to make reservation before going. The taste of the food is good. However, I feel that the cold brew coffee was lack of the aroma of coffee. Parking is an issue there, not much space.

Located in the city along heritage houses, Soul Cafe serves up western italian food. We ordered the green sauce clams linguine, French Onion soup and grilled chicken. Taste was rather mediocre, linguine didn't taste his it should be while the chicken was quite blend. Price didn't match the taste altho it wasn't VERY exp, service was not too bad however with 2 young ladies, parking outside was fairly easy. On the whole, it was a decent experience but I am not coming again if there were other alternatives.

Been sometime since I last ate here but the food is still delicious. Their pasta is great especially the pesto pasta but this round my friends and I ordered their chicken dishes - Pollo Parmagiana, Turmeric Chicken and Roast Chicken with Pasta. Portions were reasonable. They also served us grain bread with a vinaigrette dip as an appetizer. What impressed me most was the attentive service by their awfully young waitresses. A great place for meeting friends over food.

Their pasta was lovely. The coffee tasted great. It wasn’t strong but that’s a personal preference. Comforting ambience and attentive staff.

Unexpected encounter. Just wanted to have a shelter from the hot sun. IF turns out that, I spent 1.5 hours enjoying the coffee or rather expresso. Of course also the ambience. Cosy. Staff friendly and helpful. A wide range of coffee and done spaghetti.

Last night was my "n" times visits to this cafe. Carbonara made here is beyond compare, you just have to try to believe it. Small place with nice ambient where i would definitely recommend for whoever crave for nice pasta and a cup of nice butterscotch latte.

The spaghetti was so great ! We’ve ordered carbonara with truffle drizzle and spaghetti al chorizo pomodoro. The carbonara was so rich in flavour and the spaghetti al chorizo pomodoro was so nice too, it’s with the taste of tomato based. The environment was so good and quite spacious too, what amazed me is the environment and the design of the restaurants.

Very nice ambience and friendly staff. Food exceeded my expectations as well. 👍🏻 😊 . Ordered the prawn pasta and clam linguine with curry sauce as our mains, and a side of truffle fries - which is also crispy and fresh. The coffee is also fragrant. Would recommend trying this cafe out!

First time here and will visit more. Waitresses are so welcoming and friendly. Ordered Chef special crispy bacon and truffle oil Carbonara, grilled turmeric chicken, molten de cocoa, caffe latte, fresh juice(pretty woman. They offered free sour bread with dip which was nice. The carbonara was simply superb. The chicken came late because of some oven problems. Had to wait quite long but understood the situation. The chicken itself under seasoning but the sides were on point. The lava cake with homemade ice cream was really a treat. Great place to have family and friends.

can’t really provide a full review coz we only ordered a coffee (piccolo latte) and king prawn pasta. both are good. pasta is al dante and tasty. portion is small for the price (RM38), but ok for us. coffee is smooth. will probably return for more items when we have empty stomach.

Nice and cozy environment for lunch dining, food is delicious and the taste is perfect (not too salty). The cold brew coffee is less concentrated, but the taste is ok. Can just walk in during the normal weekends. Service charge applies.

Like their Linguine Al Crema Di Pesto, the portion is just nice. Finish off with Molten De Cocoa, quite filling. Overall good meal, the staffs are very friendly, might come back again to try other pastas.

Service is perfect, food is really good. I do have high expectation on the pasta. Even me & my family wait outside for more than 30mins, but the taste and the service are worth it for a long wait. Highly recommend. Try the Yellow pasta 👍🏻

I would like to give 5 star but the orange pasta is a little sweet for my liking. I like the texture of the spaghetti though. Good service. Long black is average. Will certainly try other choices in the menu next time.

Probably one of the best cafés I've been to in a long time. The food here is absolutely fantastic, my favourite was the carbonara, creamy yet flavourful, packed with flavours and the sauce nicely coats the tongue. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection, the skin was crispy and the meat was juicy yet tender, just waiting for a knife to slice through. The place is a little tight because of the limited space but it felt cosy. Highly recommended, be sure to have luck when looking for parking though.

Great place for pasta, the best Linguines Pesto I have before! My kids love the ice cream, I love the coffee.

Nice place for pasta. Al dente and well flavoured. Considered giving 5 stars, but reduced to 4 because: 1. My grilled chicken chop & mushroom pasta is listed under Chef's Recommendation. It's nice but I won't say it's WOW, something different and exceptional! I should've tried the pesto or tomyum. 2. The dessert options are too little (only have tiramisu). The peanut butter cake (nice) is listed under Chef's Recommendation. Casual settings and service is attentive. I will return to try other types of pasta.

One of the best pasta cafe restaurants in Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia 🥹 Just visit their shop on 1st October and get to know that they are celebrating their 8th years anniversary and come out with the new menu. Place is fully aircon. Deco is simple but good looking. Staffs are very friendly. I tried out the pasta there. Taste is a bit bland. I did add some salt 🧂. Parking is abit hard to find.

Cafe located in a colourful building, good environment, and I like their spaghetti. Especially their Linguine Alla Carbonara and Linguine Al Crema Di Pesto. The staff are nice and friendly.

Food is delicious. Very soulful just like the cafe's name. Too much of olives in aglio olio though and there wasn't any chicken/meat in it. However, food was very delicious! Apple juice is a must to try! Very polite waiters and waitress.

The food and the environment are great. The service of the staff is so good! Must come!

Orange pasta is a must order here, special and tasty. And I tried the Salmon Provençal today and very yummy.

Food are a little pricy but they are very very delicious. Same goes to the matcha it was very nice. I sat on the first floor and the environment is very nice too. Giving 4 stars cuz its a little pricy for a poor people like me :')
