The value for money is not there for the quality in room and services you receive at this hotel. It presents more like an upscale hostel. We stayed in a beach front room which was very small. The check in was not smooth, we had trouble with parking as well as bags, as there were no instructions given prior to check in. The proximity to the beach was nice as well as the included breakfast. Overall we would not stay again, nor recommend this hotel to friends given the lack of value in price we paid.

UPDATE on 3 February 2024: contacted the email address in the reply below on 23 January. No reply, no surprises there. They don’t care and nothing will change. Atrocious, rude manager. 2 of us were seated and waiting for another 3 people to join. They knew that 5 people would be joining and said this was no problem. There were 5 menus on the table already, and had an order placed by the 2 people who got there first. When the 3 people arrived, they were interrogated by the manager and then basically told to F-off because the kitchen can’t cope with a restaurant at 70% capacity. Great location, but well known amongst the locals to have the worst service in Plett.

I did not stay at the Hotel but did have the pleasure of dinning there. My friend, girlfriend and I enjoyed an amazing view of the beach next to the pool while we enjoyed our dinner. The service we received was top quality. The food was absolutely divine. The burgers were massive, I had a chicken burger with pepper sauce and the patty was half the plate. My friend had their beef burger and his too was really well sized. Easily a 5/5 Their fries are to die for absolute perfection. Such a nice spice with great texture. 5/5 My girlfriends pizza was good nothing exceptional but overall our dinning experience was splendid, definitely would love to go back sometime soon.

June and her team are absolute gems. Great spot to unwind or from a blistering hot day on the beach. June went out of her way to assist us. Great service, great food! Thank you team. Keep it up.

This was one of our favorite hotels we stayed at during our trip to South Africa. The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. The location and property were beautiful. Our dinners and breakfast at the restaurant were delicious. We got an upgraded room and thoroughly enjoyed the high-end features like heated bathroom tiles. Although the toilet paper roll holders were unique and fit the style of the hotel, the only suggestion that I would offer would be holders where the rolls stay on the spool versus holding them in your hand. Would stay again!

A very beautiful hotel with great service in a serene area offering some of the best views of the surrounding landscape and a stone throw away from the beach. The exceptional service from the personnel as they welcome you makes you feel home whilst away from home. The elegant rooms overlooking the ocean provide comfort to a traveller and were very clean complimenting the well maintained hotel. A restaurant onsite with room service and a good menu made the life of a foodie a simplified one to enjoy your stay without the anxiety of where to dine. It is one of the best places to stay in when in the area and offers great value.

The Bungalow is a real Plett feeling. Love sitting in the ocean air with the beautiful view. The restaurant always has a good vibe. The rooms are wonderful too.

Absolutely loved it here, from the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we left. GREAT service, super friendly (all the staff). The food is super, the sushi especially. Views from the bar of the sea superb, and the dolphin show in the bay on our last morning was the icing on the cake. Rooms very well appointed too.

Heaven on Earth! I had the pleasure of staying in the luxury apartment that features a washing machine in a private kitchen, gorgeous patio with breathtaking views of the bay and loads of extra amenities. Unforgettable experience as the beachside location is unbeatable, with Hobie beach just steps away. What I loved most about the Bungalow was the attention to detail and the friendly, attentive staff. I absolutely loved the Restaurant and bar experience! Amazing food and great vibe (especially the Prawns special on a Wednesday evening)👌🏼
