Absolutely fantastic! We spent the weekend at Rainforest Ridge, using both the lodging and the newly renovated venue for a themed birthday party, it was honestly incredible! The rustic nature of the venue was beautiful with amazing panoramic views over the gorge below. Ben (and his dogs) went out of his way to accommodate our large group (15 persons), looking after our every need. I would definitely recommend Rainforest Ridge for a relaxed getaway or as a party-venue.

We stayed 2 nights in the little cabins & 1 night in the lodge. Spectacular views down the gorge, completely immersed in nature & surrounded by mountains all around. Don’t miss the hike to the river & through the rainforest. The cabins are great if you want to get back to basics & have a wonderful rustic feel. The lodge has more creature comforts & the best view on the property that can be enjoyed from the large balcony. Ben was incredibly friendly & knows so much about the local nature, an amazing break away, will definitely stay again.

Absolutely stunning place. We have been there for one night. We made a braai with Ben (owner). It was an unforgettable evening 🤩 we had some beers together and listened together to nice music. Ben is absolutely gentle and helpful !! Unfortunately we only had time to stay for one night. We watched the moonrise (full moon) together and the dogs which are totally friendly started to bark like a wolf. Unforgettable!! The place is so nice to stay. Bens vision of this place is also interesting and I hope he will succeed 💪🏻 definitely coming back!! The breakfast also was perfect !! 6 out of 5 stars !! What a venue, and most importantly what a friendly and welcoming place to stay. Owner has so much passion in this place with lots of stories to tell. You walk in and welcomed by so many pups who just make this place that much more welcoming. Great views, great service and all round great place to stay.

This is a great venue, a couple of friends and I booked it for a bachelorette party- we had such a great time. The rooms were bright, they photograph well, and there were many rooms and space for all of us. A great place if you have a big family who loves the outdoors. It's so beautiful outside, peaceful and scenic- I could honestly see myself living there. My favourite part is the lounge and pizza oven in front. This is a home away from home, but with a view unlike any other. Will be back.

Ben’s place is epic. The craziest view that you can’t even capture on camera. There is a hiking trail right off of the resort. The vibes and music are great. The suites are so nice and clean.

Arrived at the ridge on the 07/12/2023 just after midnight. Was welcomed by the owner. Had the best epic experience last week with my frnds. Most definitely a place I would recommend. Ben the owner is the best person, went out of his way to make sure we had everything at our finger tips. It's the place to be and has to be repeated💚💐🥰

I had a week holiday in south africa, on the rainforest ridge. It was absolutly amazing. There is so much to do in the area and the host was great. He pressured me into taking the bloukrans bungee and im glad he did, what an experience! The valley behind the lodge is also absolutly magical. A small hike down to the river and suddenly you are in a different landscape. All the way at the bottom there is the rainforest and it's as if it's straight out of a disney movie. A bunch of secret waterfalls and even a hidden 'pool' in the river. The views from the lodges itself is absolutly stunning aswel, seeing and hearing the ocean thats 5k away, and the beautiful mountains in the background. (Which you can hike by the way, and perhaps find another even larger waterfall). All in all the experience was amazing, and the venue was great.
