Very good place to get away from it all. Peaceful and quiet with fantastic river views. Only downside was that the restaurant at the lodge doesn't have any vegetarian options on the menu. In fact, the only vegetables available are a side salad or a plate of chips. Service at the restaurant was good though.

We stayed in Room 305, first of all it was pouring when we arrived and the staff member gave us bad directions and a made us walk a long way to get to the room. Secondly there was no soap, and also no roasting dish for meat. No blanket so we had to sleep cold. This flat was not worth the price charged, especially as it was advertised at one price, then when you confirm the price, it changes as you need to pay admin fees!! Definitely not worth the money paid. Not in very good condition either. Needs renovations.

Beautiful location, on site restaurant has the best wood fired pizzas and delicious Spasie Cocktail 🍸 😋 other menu options like the babbalas breakfast is delicious too!

The lodge is right on the Breede river and has great views towards the mouth and also sunsets. We stayed in unit 210 , very spacious and had everything we needed. Easy check in process and remote controlled gate made it easy to come and go as we pleased. There is a small boat harbour in front of the lodge which also has a big parking area should you wish to visit the on site restaurant, Stasie , which is also recommended There are a few activities that can be arranged through the activity kiosk We will certainly be back

Peaceful, Breede river and sea all brown from the floods small harbor activities nice

Friendly staff. Lovely room. Comfortable bed. Wonderful view. Good fish and chips at the restaurant. Will definitely return!

We spent a night last week in one of the fishermen's cottages. Compact and clean. We sat outside st the bar/ restaurant area on a windy afternoon. We had helpful, friendly service from Ryan at reception.
